"Strong Community Engagement, but Contract Flexibility Could Improve"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Circle?

I like that it focuses on community. It has lots of features and functions but the platform helps my members participate. The participation increases their satisfaction and likelihood of continued use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Circle?

The contracts. It would be nice if the contract started annual so circle could recoup onboarding costs, but then after the first year go to monthly. I would like the additional flexibility. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Circle is a great community platform"
5/5
What do you like best about Circle?

Circle gives me the power and flexibility to create the community I truly want. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Circle?

Because it is so robust, and flexible, it can be a bit complex to use. I find the support to be very responsive and thoughtful, so I'm navigating through it okay. And my community keeps getting better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Secure and Convenient for Work Communication"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Circle?

I like that everything is right there, making it very accessible for my work needs. The security features give me peace of mind, as I know my videos are safe and my e-course is protected from sharing. The initial setup of Circle was very easy, which was a great relief. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Circle?

I love it, but it's difficult for non-tech savvy clients. It's hard for them to get used to using a different app. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Versatile Community Portal with Room for Improvement"
3/5
What do you like best about Circle?

I like the different page options that Circle offers. It's helpful to be able to grant access to different things depending on the user. We have spots for team members, others for customers, and internal matters, which makes it versatile for organizing our community portal. The initial setup of Circle was pretty easy, which I appreciated. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Circle?

I think the post formatting options are limited. I wish there were more fonts and sizing options. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Flexible and User-Friendly, But Could Use Abandoned Cart Email Automation"
2.5/5
What do you like best about Circle?

Relatively user friendly once you get used to it. It does seem fairly flexible in terms of the kinds of things you can do with it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Circle?

No automated ability to do abandoned cart emails. Instead, I have to fashion a solution via Zapier, which isn't ideal. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Mariana Zatti of Circle

Hi Kaeli,

Thank you so much for your review. We're glad to hear Circle has been flexible and user-friendly for your needs.

Your feedback on abandoned cart email automation is genuinely appreciated. We understand that routing this through Zapier adds friction, and that's not the experience we want for you. Native automation like this is something we're actively thinking about for the future. While we don't have a specific timeline to share right now, feedback like yours directly informs how we prioritize what we build next.

We're happy to have you in the Circle community, and your feedback genuinely helps us build a better product.

"A simple, powerful platform that strengthens community"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Circle?

I really appreciate how customizable it is—you can structure spaces in ways that truly fit our community’s needs. I like that Circle is easy to use—for both admins and members. The interface is clean, so you don’t need a steep learning curve to start. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Circle?

Integrating with certain third-party tools sometimes requires external automation services (such as Zapier) rather than native integrations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Outstanding Support and Community, Just Missing Some B2B Features"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Circle?

The tools offered continue to grow and meet the needs of a member-based community. The Circle team is the most amazing part! They are online and interacting with community builders and help us learn and grow. And the community builders are also an incredible source of information and inspiration. There are at least a couple dozen who respond to requests and add information that makes Circle easier to use.

I migrated my community from another platform and found their set up and implementation easy to follow. The Circle Academy has resources that walk you through every aspect to get started from scratch. And when you run into bumps, their email-based customer service team is awesome. I had a few issues around my email server set up and they responded quickly and accurately. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Circle?

As they continue to develop the system, it lacks a few features that would be helpful such as:

- Group billing to offer more B2B type services beyond the typical B2C

- Updates to workflows, such as turning standard workflows into one-time bulk updates (rather than having to recreate them) and more triggers in the workflows to allow more nuanced types of processes

- Small things like being able to reuse uploaded media in posts and courses rather than having to upload it again (adding to storage), ability to manage your bookmarks better, adding forms that go beyond standard name/email Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
