## Circle Reviews
 ### 1. Connecting with our community of innovators has never been easier thanks to Circle

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Laura R. | Open Innovation Project Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 22, 2025

**What do you like best about Circle?**

We have a vibrant community of people generating ideas every day. For the past few years, we've been working to connect with them on a deeper level—because we know they’re our most valuable asset. Circle has helped us make that happen, allowing us to hear their individual voices and maintain consistent, meaningful communication.

**What do you dislike about Circle?**

I’d love to have more features for creating and personalizing spaces. Even when we try to make them look different, it’s not really possible to customize them the way we’d like.

**What problems is Circle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The need to get closer to our community and truly understand their needs and desires. With this, they can put a face to our team and connect with us directly.

 ### 2. Strong in many ways, but with surprising weaknesses.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Education Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 25, 2025

**What do you like best about Circle?**

The Circle app is a great choice if you want to start and grow a community. It offers a lot of flexibility and customization, with different types of spaces that can emulate the functionality of well-known apps, such as WhatsApp-style chat, Facebook-like groups, or Instagram-style image galleries. It also allows you to set up courses and supports the integration of payment gateways, so you can easily offer free or paid content to your members.

As an admin, you’ll find a well-thought-out feature set that gives you a lot of control and adaptability.

We tried several similar platforms and ultimately chose the Circle because it offered the best overall package. If you’re looking for a community platform, you won’t go wrong with the Circle.

It also comes with a mobile app (which can even be custom-branded for an additional fee) that supports most of the features available in the browser version. Some tasks - especially certain admin functions - work better or are only available via the web interface.

The FAQ and help pages are excellent: clear, concise, and easy to search. Just google “circle + your keywords” and you’ll usually land directly on the right help article.

**What do you dislike about Circle?**

Unfortunately, there are some areas where the Circle app is surprisingly weak.

For example, members can edit - and even delete - their posts indefinitely. While it's certainly a positive feature that users can correct mistakes at any time, this can easily be abused. Comments can be changed retroactively, which undermines the integrity of conversations.
We even had a case where a member accidentally deleted their opening post, which removed the entire thread - including valuable responses from other participants. When we reached out to Circle support for a backup, we were told that no such backup exists. This means a single user mistake - or someone deciding to delete their contributions - can lead to permanent data loss for the entire community.
There is no setting to limit editing or deletion rights to a specific time window (like WhatsApp’s 15-minute limit), nor is there an option to disable deletion rights altogether.

Another surprising weakness is the platform’s approach to privacy.
They appear to be in the process of revamping access control, which has led to inconsistencies - and the help pages are outdated in this regard, still referencing user interfaces or behavior that no longer exist.

We were quite shocked to discover that the member directory - including all personal profile data entered by our users - was publicly accessible by default. And by “public,” we mean completely open to the entire internet - no account and login required.
We had no choice but to set the member directory to "private", which unfortunately means only admins can now access it. As expected, many community members were unhappy with this, but there’s no middle ground: there's no way to make member profiles visible only to other logged-in community members, while hiding them from the public web.

To make matters worse, the global search function remains accessible to everyone on the internet. Just enter a common name - or even part of one - and you'll see a list of matching users. One click, and their full bios are visible again.
So if your community includes members who might share sensitive personal details (e.g. of a spiritual or psychological nature), you must warn them to either leave their bio empty, manually activate the “Hide from public” option in their personal profile settings, or accept that their information may be scraped by bots or indexed by search engines who don't adhere to the robots.txt standards.

When I contacted support about this privacy issue, their response wasn’t: “Thanks for pointing this out, we’ll fix it.” Instead, it was: “Yes, this is expected behavior.” 😳

In short, the member directory feature is practically unusable unless you can ensure that none of your members ever share anything remotely sensitive in it.

**What problems is Circle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

When you want to charge your members for high quality content, the Circle app allows a seamless integration of payment gateways that allow for a great user experience even including your community's name on the credit card statement.

 ### 3. Community Management in Circe

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Leisure, Travel & Tourism | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 23, 2025

**What do you like best about Circle?**

ustomizable Spaces: You can structure your community with spaces tailored to different topics, groups, or member types. This makes navigation and engagement straightforward for users.

Beautiful, Intuitive Design: Circle’s clean aesthetic makes both creating and consuming content feel easy and pleasant.

Engagement Tools: Features like rich text posts, direct messaging, events, and integrations with Zoom or Calendly make it easy to keep members active and interacting.

Member Management: Built-in tools for analytics, permissions, and segmentation let you track engagement and personalize member experiences.

White Labeling and Branding: You can customize the look and feel to match your brand, which enhances trust and professionalism.

Seamless Integration: Circle integrates with tools like Slack, Zapier, and email marketing platforms, helping you automate workflows and boost productivity.

Supportive Development Team: Frequent updates and responsiveness to user feedback make it feel like you’re part of a platform that’s evolving with your needs.

**What do you dislike about Circle?**

There are a few functionality gaps worth noting. For example, when running a series of paid events, there's currently no straightforward way to offer a bundled price. The workaround can be a bit clunky and manual, which adds friction for both the organizer and the end user. We'd love to see more flexible monetization options in future updates.

**What problems is Circle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We're trying to create a bottom of funnel community to help upsell other services and so far, it's working decently well.

 ### 4. Fast community building, gamified features

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Mental Health Care | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 23, 2025

**What do you like best about Circle?**

The team and their push for constnat innovation and improvement. The ease of adding content by multiple members of the team and also members, of course. Gamification.

**What do you dislike about Circle?**

That we didn't quite understand the main value proposition and use Circle for something other than what its strengths are. If your digital product doesn't thrive on community elements, this is not for you. Building a community is actually harder than it seems, it's a constant strife for engagment from your members, be ready for it. For our part, we could have used better analytics to understand what it is that keeps our members there. Also, there is a lack of customization for landing pages and a bit of difficulty plugging it into a marketing funnel.

**What problems is Circle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It was quick to set up and get running. Very good embed features and ease of adding content, by multiple team members, even those that have never worked with online content publishing before.

 ### 5. wonderful

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Health, Wellness and Fitness

**Reviewed Date:** March 03, 2026

**What do you like best about Circle?**

It is easy to build and user friendly for al that join my community

**What do you dislike about Circle?**

That I would have to pay more for even just 1 course. I think 1 course could be added to the low tier option.

**What problems is Circle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

better and easier to use platform for my members

 ### 6. Couldnt have built my course without it!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Construction | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 17, 2025

**What do you like best about Circle?**

Circle.so is the Best Platform I’ve Used for Building an Online Course + Community – Hands Down.

I’ve been using Circle.so to host my online course and private community, and honestly, it’s the best decision I’ve made. I’ve tried other platforms before, but nothing comes close to Circle when it comes to creating a smooth, professional experience for both myself and my students.

What I love most is how seamlessly it combines course content and community in one place. My members aren’t jumping between platforms—they’re learning, interacting, and growing all inside one beautiful space. It makes everything feel more personal and connected.

What really sets Circle apart though is the constant innovation. I’m genuinely surprised (in a good way) at how often they roll out new features that are actually useful. You can tell they listen to what creators want. Every update feels like it’s been designed to make my job easier and my student experience better.

If you’re thinking about launching a course, building a membership, or creating a space where your people can thrive—Circle.so is the one. Reliable, clean, intuitive, and built with creators in mind.

**What do you dislike about Circle?**

Nothing! Iv had issues in the past but they actually listened to me and others which is very rare!

**What problems is Circle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

full control and access to customise my courses to how i like it!

 ### 7. Works well for our community

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Mental Health Care | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 17, 2025

**What do you like best about Circle?**

We love the interface. We wanted to create a community that wasn't on Facebook but had some of the light, accessible design. As a website designer with a focus on accessibility and WCAG guidelines it was important we had the right platform and I am pleased that we have. We have found the customer service space easily to find and have become familar with it, our users check in most days and find it easy to access.

**What do you dislike about Circle?**

We do struggle a bit with membership tiers but that's mostly because we have the same rates. We'd like our members to have an affliate code but that's been a long time coming. We are niche and around mental health and support for people grieving so a lot of the target-driven posts in the Circle space isn't relevant for us.

**What problems is Circle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We wanted to grow our podcast, which is about childless not by choice to form a CIC (Community Interest Company) and setting up a Circle to allow the community to talk to us was helpful. We can now cover our costs. I forgot to say that the audio and visual quality of the Go Live means we don't use this very much and lacks Zoom's filters which is a shame. It would be good to get rates for charities and CIC.

 ### 8. Easy and Clean

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Professional Training & Coaching | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 15, 2025

**What do you like best about Circle?**

The most helpful thing about Circle is how frictionless and focused it makes community engagement. For my membership and community, my members don’t need to fight through noise or clutter to get what they came for. Whether it’s accessing lessons, joining live calls, connecting with each other, or getting support, Circle keeps everything organized and intuitive. I can structure spaces to match my frameworks and teaching flow, and that makes it easy for my members to stay engaged and on track.

**What do you dislike about Circle?**

The app to desktop syncing is not always the best. Also, event & content sequencing isn’t fully built out. If you’re running structured programs with drip content or want strict module progression, it requires workarounds (like linking out or stacking posts manually).

**What problems is Circle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before Circle, building a community meant stitching together Facebook Groups, Zoom, Kajabi/Teachable, Slack, Voxer, email... the list goes on. That created confusion for members and wasted my time managing tech instead of serving people. Also, my coaching frameworks, lessons, and tools were spread out or delivered ad hoc. That made it harder for members to access value and for me to scale impact.

 ### 9. A Powerful, All-in-One Platform That We Couldn't Do Business Without

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Health, Wellness and Fitness | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 14, 2025

**What do you like best about Circle?**

We love that Circle allows us to host all of our frameworks, courses, meditations, live calls, and community engagement in one cohesive, easy-to-use space. Setting it up was surprisingly smooth given how much it can do, and their support team has been consistently responsive and helpful anytime we’ve needed them. We use Circle daily, both to manage our business and connect with members, and it’s become a central part of our ecosystem. It integrates well with our existing tools, and the features continue to evolve in ways that feel aligned with how we’re growing. Even with so much we haven’t tapped into yet, it’s already been a game-changer for us.

**What do you dislike about Circle?**

There’s honestly very little to critique. Circle strikes an impressive balance between flexibility and ease of use. As we’ve scaled, it’s given us the structure we need without boxing us in. Any learning curve we’ve experienced has been more about building out our unique vision than limitations with the platform itself.

**What problems is Circle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before Circle, we were piecing together multiple tools to deliver content, connect with members, and manage community engagement. Circle has eliminated that fragmentation. It allows us to offer a seamless member experience while saving us time, tech complexity, and operational headaches. We can focus on delivering meaningful transformation instead of managing 10 different platforms.

 ### 10. Circle is the best choice for dedicated community-builders

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shalom O. | Head of Design, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 14, 2025

**What do you like best about Circle?**

Having compared the leading community platforms, I feel that Circle clearly wins in terms of features and overall UX for both community-builders and members. It uses common design patterns and information architecture that makes it easy to learn and use (even if you don't know what IA is). They also have a great support system that includes both self-serve support (on their Circle community) and on-demand customer support from real live people at Circle. I've come to use Circle every day, throughout the day, and the more I use it, the more I truly love it!

**What do you dislike about Circle?**

Some of the more advanced features, including AI integrations, are only available on more expensive tiers. While this makes business sense for Circle, I wish they would filter down more of those advanced features to their less expensive plans.

**What problems is Circle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The need to create an online community and enable my members to receive and share relevant information and experiences (such as live meetings, forum posts, live chat, etc.).

 ### 11. Community and Course Hosting on Circle

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Design | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 14, 2025

**What do you like best about Circle?**

I have used and demoed many other LMS platforms, and Circle is by far the easiest and cleanest to use while uploading courses.
The # linking feature between posts and events is wonderful.
The platform is clean and straightforward.
I genuinely enjoy using Circle, which I could not say about other LMS platforms.

**What do you dislike about Circle?**

I wish that the home feed were more customizable.
Support response times are very long. I've waited ~5-7 days for support email responses. It feels like an expensive product for such long wait times.
I am looking forward to improvements in the email hub. I'm coming from Kajabi, where email was included and very robust. I'm hopeful that even though it's extra in Circle, it will continue to be more and more customizable regarding automation.
I would like higher resolution options for screensharing in events. I teach a software with small icons, and it's essential that the attendees and the recording viewers not have to strain to see these.

**What problems is Circle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For years I would answer one-to-one email support questions. Now, I field those questions through my community. It not only helps monetize support, but others get to learn in a collaborative environment. They can often find the answer that they are looking for with the search function, where in the past it would have been an email to me.

 ### 12. Great for Hosting Communities and Courses in One Place

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Health, Wellness and Fitness | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Circle?**

Locking particular spaces. Ability to host a community and a course in the same place. Dms.

**What do you dislike about Circle?**

VIDEO meetings: Inability to change recording options throughout a session, and no break out rooms (last time I checked).

**What problems is Circle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

allows me to run online classes and host community for them in the same place

 ### 13. Easy and simple!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in E-Learning | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 11, 2026

**What do you like best about Circle?**

I like that it's incredibly user friendly. Hardly ever do we need to explain to anyone how to use it. We just send them the invitation to join and they are in.

**What do you dislike about Circle?**

I find the set up of the web version more intuitive than the app.

**What problems is Circle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Connecting users from around the world

 ### 14. The best community platform I've ever used

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** James G. | Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 11, 2025

**What do you like best about Circle?**

Circle is fast, user-friendly, and brings the best of so many different tools out there. It's like combining the asynchronous nature of Slack, the post/comment capabilities of LinkedIn, with the live events functions of Zoom.

Then, it's taken to another level with the automations, seamless integrations with tools like Zapier, Stripe, and more. And they have their own community which serves as both an inspiration and example of running communities well!

**What do you dislike about Circle?**

The few instances where I needed to contact customer support could have been faster. But they're scaling and none of my issues were blocking, just small bugs or nuances.

**What problems is Circle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Gave me a place to invite members, handle payment, engage with them regularly.

 ### 15. SheTech Circle Review

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Silvia F. | Community Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 15, 2025

**What do you like best about Circle?**

The platform is very intuitive and easy to use for both admins and users. It meets our main needs as a community and even the monthly updates are constant, clear and useful. The periodic meeting with one of your mentors to give and receive feedback on the use is also very helpful.

**What do you dislike about Circle?**

Sometimes we have encountered problems in receiving notifications or some bugs and slowdowns in use. In the events section there is not much freedom of customization for example the insertion of new fields in the registration phase.

**What problems is Circle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Circle allows us to manage both the logistics and subscriptions part of our community and the online communication and engagement part.

 ### 16. A fast moving, friendly and premium membership experience

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Professional Training & Coaching | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 08, 2025

**What do you like best about Circle?**

I love how community led it feels! I can reach out and other membership owners are happy to help me with questions. Everyone is enthusiastic about community - which means people are nice and friendly. My members alll love how slick the interface is too.

**What do you dislike about Circle?**

The price is very high and you'll need features on higher tiers before you can afford the premium prices which puts you in a pickle when you are trying to optimise your membership and grow but also are watching the bottom line. I like how fast paced they are with updates but they can be slow with essential things like paywall updates. A premium product like this you'd hope for more flexibility and customised to ensure its a one stop shop. I do feel like you should be grandfathered in with pricing too.

**What problems is Circle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

its allowing me to create community whilst offering education at the same time in a seamless experience.

 ### 17. The Most Customizable and Community-Friendly Platform Out There

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in E-Learning | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 08, 2025

**What do you like best about Circle?**

Circle makes it incredibly easy to build a space that truly feels like your community. From branding and layout to member access and content organization, the customization options are extensive and intuitive.

I also appreciate the wide variety of features for hosting events, creating courses, or managing communities.

Additionally, customer support is fast, friendly, and genuinely helpful. I’m also impressed by how frequently the platform rolls out updates based on user feedback.

Finally, the platform is very user-friendly for administrators and integrates with a variety of third-party apps to allow you to really create a customized experience for both your team and your customers.

**What do you dislike about Circle?**

Honestly, there’s nothing that stands out as a drawback for me. Any minor hiccups I’ve experienced have been quickly resolved by the support team, and the ongoing improvements keep making an already great platform even better.

**What problems is Circle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Circle has made it possible for us to create an all-in-one platform where our customers can enjoy a streamlined experience.

 ### 18. Circle: Where the Quiet Voices Finally Get Their Spotlight

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 08, 2025

**What do you like best about Circle?**

One of the most unexpected joys of Circle has been watching previously silent members find their voice. We originally moved to Circle just to get conversations "out of the inbox," but we've discovered something more valuable - intentional engagement. Members who never participated in our email lists are now regular contributors, bringing fresh perspectives we'd been missing. The platform creates a context where people come with intention and generosity first, making community management feel less like herding cats and more like facilitating meaningful connections. The intuitive interface makes it easy for even our least tech-savvy members to jump in and share their expertise.

**What do you dislike about Circle?**

As an association rather than a content creator, we've had to adapt Circle to fit our specific membership model. The platform lacks a group paywall function that would streamline our administrative processes for onboarding/offboarding institutional members who aren't directly controlling their own transactions. While we've found workarounds, it does create additional administrative overhead that could be eliminated with more association-focused features. Their consultation support, while responsive, sometimes reflects assumptions about community models that don't quite align with association needs.

**What problems is Circle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Circle solves our "scattered attention" problem. Before, our community's knowledge and energy were fragmented across email chains, conference interactions, and isolated institutional silos. Important conversations would disappear into inbox black holes, and members would struggle to find resources or connect with peers facing similar challenges.

This centralization benefits us in multiple ways: institutional knowledge is now preserved and searchable instead of lost in email archives; members can engage at their own pace without feeling overwhelmed; and perhaps most valuably, we've uncovered expertise from previously quiet members who never participated in our email-based community. As a manager, I can now effectively nurture conversations, highlight member contributions, and ensure valuable resources reach the right people—all while reducing the administrative overhead of maintaining multiple communication channels.

 ### 19. A robust community platform with room for improvement

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Professional Training & Coaching | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 08, 2025

**What do you like best about Circle?**

Getting started in Circle is easy and intuitive. The platform provides everything an online community needs and provides a lot of different ways to engage with members. Their support bot and knowledge base has been very helpful and almost always provided the answers I was looking for. As an admin, I also appreciate the analytics to help me understand how members are interacting with each other, which is key for community building. I also appreciate that admins can join Circle's own community where community builders can ask questions and learn from each other. They also host great events and provide some courses to get started in the Circle Academy which is great for beginners.

**What do you dislike about Circle?**

Some features still feel a bit clunky or don't update immediately when changes are made. It's not a 100% smooth so improvements still have to be made for the platform to have a delightful user experience. The support team has been very slow in responding at times, although they did apologize eventually and said they were making improvements in their response time.

**What problems is Circle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

- Easy and direct access to our most engaged customers
- An all-in-one platform that combines communication, event hosting, building community
- Experimenting with different ways to present our brand and getting immediate feedback on what works and doesn't work
- Creates a sense of belonging and loyalty with alumni of our trainings
- Allows for scalability of our products

 ### 20. From being the best platform to build an online community Circle is now an All-In-One business app.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kulwinder S. | Co-Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 23, 2025

**What do you like best about Circle?**

We used Circle community for years now and feel it is the best platform to build a community on. As the features have evolved we have started using the courses, workflows and contact/email marketing features as well. The ability to process payments in multiple currencies, integration with Stripe to collect VAT automatically has opened up business opportunities even more. Way to go.

**What do you dislike about Circle?**

Not being able to build good Landing pages on Circle and the very limited options to customise pages is the thing we miss the most on Circle.

**What problems is Circle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ability to run online courses and events seamlessly, building a strong and active community of users.

 ### 21. Easy Setup, But Data Export to a Central Warehouse Needs Improvement

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Mental Health Care | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Circle?**

Was quick and easy to setup by our engineers.

**What do you dislike about Circle?**

Needs to be easier to get data out of the platform into a centralized data warehouse

**What problems is Circle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We're using Circle as GTM tactic. It is a way to identify leads and also use information for product discovery.

 ### 22. I've enjoyed using Circle so far.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Real Estate

**Reviewed Date:** April 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Circle?**

The ease of use. Everything is accessible.

**What do you dislike about Circle?**

I'd prefer to have the AI features more seamlessly implemented.

**What problems is Circle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's great for community management.

 ### 23. Simple and Direct!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising

**Reviewed Date:** March 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Circle?**

The simplicity in the use of the tool and in the layout.

**What do you dislike about Circle?**

So far, I don't have anything specific that bothers me.

**What problems is Circle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Facilitate access to the student community in a simple and direct way.

 ### 24. My mind is blown compared to the platform I’ve been using so far.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ari H. | Co-Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 10, 2025

**What do you like best about Circle?**

Learning about the customization and features in circle has made me excited about being a community provider again. I got so stressed and frustrated by buggy issues with my old platform, and circle runs such a tight ship, I feel way more confident that my members will be able to do what they came for, without any headaches.

**What do you dislike about Circle?**

Nothing so far. I literally cannot fault it.

**What problems is Circle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a community platform it is solving my issue around how I facilitate communities that are easy for members to use, and easy for me to moderate.

 ### 25. Can't recommend Circle enough

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dana M. | CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 11, 2025

**What do you like best about Circle?**

We launched the BossMom+ app with Circle and I couldn't be happier. I teach how to build communities and hands down Circle is my go-to.
The best tools, the best support, just the best.

I have been in communities built on Skool, Mighty, and others and they just aren't built as well as Circle.

It's very user-friendly.
Easy to integrate with tools like Zapier...although with it's new marketing feature we don't have to do much integration.

My community is using it daily and we love how the notifications, leaderboard, and announcements keep everyone engaged.

And they are always working to make it better.
Don't go with any other platform.

You can have it up and running in a day.

**What do you dislike about Circle?**

Nothing...anything that could be better, they make better. They are always improving and love user feedback.

**What problems is Circle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We wanted to get off of Facebook, so we shut down our 75k group and moved to Circle. I opted to get my own BossMom+ app which they manage. We got rid of all of our course management or community tools and house it all in one place on Circle. It's made our life so much easier, but more than that it has allowed us to brand our own space that we own which has really helped the brand.

 ### 26. Easy to set-up & our members find it easy to navigate. Love having a go-to person for Qs & goals!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andrea H. | Operations Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 11, 2025

**What do you like best about Circle?**

The people have been amazing to work with. The set-up team helped us pace ourselvese, giving us goals for each month and made it a manageable transition from our previous platform. Our account manager has been a huge resource for us moving forward, helping us set quarterly goals and answering any quesetions we have via email or a quick meeting.

**What do you dislike about Circle?**

We don't always know what's new and it's hard to keep up with the improvements. Our company is pretty big compared to most other "communities" so we have to work so much in the company, that it's sometimes hard to work "on" the company.

The improvements are great, and we appreciate them, we just aren't always able to implement or use them as quickly as we'd like.

**What problems is Circle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's putting "more" in one place. I love that we can go live and have meetings right in the community.

 ### 27. Circle has been an amazing perk for my clients!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Health, Wellness and Fitness

**Reviewed Date:** February 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Circle?**

It's a one stop shop for my clients to connect and I can easily share recipes, tips, resources, and do all my check-ins in. one spot!

**What do you dislike about Circle?**

Sometimes there are glitches with messages and voice clips

**What problems is Circle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Community, lead magnet, marketing

 ### 28. Easy platform to launch a community

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Leela S. | Non Executive Director, Internet, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 22, 2025

**What do you like best about Circle?**

We looked into multiple platforms as well as the option to build our own custom platform, and concluded that Circle was the answer! Great functionality with enough customizability to make it feel like “our app”.

**What do you dislike about Circle?**

Not Circle’s fault necessarily, but the time and efforts required to get our build “app store-ready” is more onerous than we’d like

**What problems is Circle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

creating a safe, secure app for our community of elite athletes to use. needs to be usable on the go (athletes are busy people) but we’ve also found that people are using the desktop version and finding it intuitive.

 ### 29. Amazing community

**What do you dislike about Circle?**

The windows desktop app is not fit for purpose. using the website means I don't get notifications

 ### 31. Circle is intuitive, clean, and makes building an engaged community simple. Love it!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management

**Reviewed Date:** March 02, 2026

**What do you like best about Circle?**

Strong privacy and easy community building

**What do you dislike about Circle?**

Course builder, feels too basic and limited

**What problems is Circle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They have yet to address the course builder's limits, which is not a benefit.

 ### 32. Great platform for cohort-based education programs

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education

**Reviewed Date:** February 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Circle?**

The set up, use and interface is simple and easy to use.

**What do you dislike about Circle?**

Could use some additional LMS features like managing a database of participants (current and prior).

**What problems is Circle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Single source of information for the learning cohort.

 ### 33. Circle is an excellent community organizing solution

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matt Y. | Chief Operations Officer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 20, 2025

**What do you like best about Circle?**

Circle is an excellent platform to organize a community around your course, passion, or whatever else you have to offer. They're super responsive both to customer problems, and to ideas for new features.

They make it very easy to incentivize users to take part and to broadcast new content and opportunities.

**What do you dislike about Circle?**

Some of the technical stuff can be a little glitchy at times, but like I say, they're extremely responsive when problems arise.

**What problems is Circle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Circle allows me to gather the people involved in my community without using a public platform like facebook.

 ### 34. I love my new Circle Community!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kellie D. | Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Circle?**

I spent nearly two years battling with MemberPress and BuddyBoss—month after month of constant headaches. Now, just three months into using Circle at the Enterprise level, and WOW—what a game-changer! Everything runs so smoothly, it's almost unbelievable. I only wish I had discovered it sooner!

**What do you dislike about Circle?**

The only difficulty was migrating my old site's member comments. Everything else has been great.

**What problems is Circle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Circle is solving the endless tech headaches I faced with MemberPress and BuddyBoss—glitches, integrations breaking, and a constant struggle to make things work smoothly. With Circle, everything just works—seamless onboarding, effortless community engagement, and a streamlined experience for both me and my members. The intuitive design and automation tools save me so much time, letting me focus on delivering value instead of troubleshooting issues. It’s been a total game-changer for running my community efficiently!

 ### 35. Circle is a fun tool to utilize!

Sending out the broadcasts! So easy to use

**What do you dislike about Circle?**

Nothing! Circle is very easy to use! Fun

**What problems is Circle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Connecting all of our agents in one place!

 ### 36. Excellent way to build a community and earn revenue

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in E-Learning | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 08, 2025

**What do you like best about Circle?**

The variety of tools on offer and ability to create different spaces within the community that do different things. The way you can manage everything is very intuitive - making it easy to use for beginners and advanced users too if they want to do more.

**What do you dislike about Circle?**

It would be nice to be able to customize the design a bit more. You are quite limited to the set templates and it would be nice to have some more control over this, especially when it comes to building out a course.

**What problems is Circle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed a place for people to share their stories with others and support one another. We also wanted a platform that allowed us to build an online course and then integrate this with the community. Circle offered this and more.

 ### 37. Builds an Engaged Community with Ease

**What problems is Circle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Having a community.

 ### 40. Circle has helped us not only grow our revenue but also our impact in the sports industry.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brian D. | Founder & CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 22, 2025

**What do you like best about Circle?**

We love the ability to host premium virtual events while enjoying features like RSVP, reminders, and automated message flow. Additionally, we appreciate that the Circle team continually listens to its members and provides ongoing updates! We have integrated Circle into our ecosystem of products and services, which has been a fantastic extension of benefits and brand connection!

**What do you dislike about Circle?**

We would love to see more ways to customize the platform so it continues to feel increasingly like our brand. This includes brand colors, watermarks on virtual events displayed on the screen, and utilizing AI to connect members with similar backgrounds!

**What problems is Circle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Circle is solving the ability to connect our members, followers, and subscribers in a more intnatie and personalized way at scale!

 ### 41. There is a lot to learn when you first start but it is an excellent platform.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matt D. | Managing Editor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 11, 2025

**What do you like best about Circle?**

The features and how customizable it is. You can do so much and make it your own.

**What do you dislike about Circle?**

That you cannot embed interactive spaces into other websites.

**What problems is Circle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hosting courses and a place for a community of like-minded people to connect.

 ### 42. Great community platform

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Retail | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 15, 2025

**What do you like best about Circle?**

Lots of features
Looks professional for users
It's easy for users to use
Gamification is great for increasing engagement
Easy to get to know when first signing up, intuitive to use

**What do you dislike about Circle?**

Support line takes over a week to get help when issues come up
Lots of restrictions with some of features
Takes a while for new features or tweaks to improve current processes

**What problems is Circle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Its a place that I can include lots of information in a clear and easy way for users to find
It manages the financial side of membership and access without me needing to do anything once it's set up
It's creating a place for people of similar interest to get together to share ideas and best practice

 ### 43. Absolutely love this platform

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Laura W. | Speaker + Coach, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 15, 2024

**What do you like best about Circle?**

Circle has made it incredibly easy to house content, interact with my community, and create a safe environment for my members to grow.

**What do you dislike about Circle?**

I wish we could house courses without having to create "spaces". I want to expand my online library but it takes up a space each time I want to do that.

**What problems is Circle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Circle has allowed me to maintain rights and management of my own content (away from Facebook) and create a space where my members feel safe to grow.

 ### 44. User Friendly Platform

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Events Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 22, 2025

**What do you like best about Circle?**

The ability to navigate the spaces and notifications is extremely easy, no matter the user age or tech "savvyness." It took me less than three days to explore and understand how to find my way around, and I have been able to easily explain how to others. I'm also an admin for my work, and we have easily integrated it to our own platform to build a network. I use it daily to connect with members of our organization and my own team.

**What do you dislike about Circle?**

The fact that every single notification setting is turned on automatically - I might suggest allowing the notification settings to remain blank until the user decides which make sense for them.

**What problems is Circle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have a small management team in our organization, and 2,500 members. While we meet weekly virtually, many of our members were craving more immediate networking capabilities. Circle has allowed us to create several specific spaces for that purpose and others (trading tips, asking questions, promotions and marketing, etc.). We now have almost 900 members integrated into Circle from our own platform, and we have received entirely positive feedback.

 ### 45. Excellent Community Building Platform!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Health, Wellness and Fitness | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 22, 2025

**What do you like best about Circle?**

I like how clean it is both from a creator standpoint and a user standpoint. Several of my members have said they love how clean and easy to use it is. I really like the build in video platform (especially live rooms). I like the spaces, posts, and events features.

**What do you dislike about Circle?**

Personally my least favorite aspect is the course-creation aspect. It feels less intuitive to use than the other features, and I don't love the workflow or how it's organized.

**What problems is Circle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's providing a centralized, mostly all-encompassing platform for me to build my online community. I appreciate that new features are being added frequently, and I feel like support is very easy to access.

 ### 46. Amazing platform

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** ADEBAYO A. | Senior Manager, Projects-PMO, North America Area, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 08, 2025

**What do you like best about Circle?**

I love how Circle fosters seamless collaboration! Its intuitive interface makes connecting with others effortless, and the tools are incredibly helpful for organizing projects. The biggest upside is how it saves time and boosts productivity. Highly recommend Circle for teams!

**What do you dislike about Circle?**

The pricing is a bit too high, which might not suit smaller communities. However, Circle’s intuitive interface and community tools are helpful, with upsides like streamlined course hosting and member engagement.

**What problems is Circle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Social interaction is a lot easier now.

 ### 47. Smooth, Simple, and Powerful tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David S. | Owner and COO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 22, 2025

**What do you like best about Circle?**

I choose Circle for the course creation aspect, but I’m staying for the other features and their continued work of building out new features (like email campaigns).

**What do you dislike about Circle?**

So far not much here. I feel a bit out of my comfort zone trying to create automations and complex sequences between spaces. But they seem to have courses to help once I have the time.

**What problems is Circle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Courses, Messages, and social connection in one place

 ### 48. Best platform for communities: Circle

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andrea F. | Administradora, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 23, 2025

**What do you like best about Circle?**

Circle is an incredible space, I've been working with it for a year and all my users are delighted because it's a place where I can go live, share resources, sell my courses, and they keep adding more features.

**What do you dislike about Circle?**

They have few negative points. I can't add anything here because I love it.

**What problems is Circle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I could say there are few problems, but one of them is that it is not in Spanish. My community is Spanish-speaking.

 ### 49. Great product that scales with you - highly recommend

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Professional Training & Coaching | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 08, 2025

**What do you like best about Circle?**

Love the UI and UX experience for our members. It's clean, easy to use. They listen to product feedback and actually implement changes based on this. They are always released big features, while tweaking and improving existing ones. They often release just what we need at the right time - it's awesome. Our members love it as a platform.

The circle community itself is also a great resource. Their community manager is all over every post - lots of helpful content.

**What do you dislike about Circle?**

Customer support is very slow. It takes multiple days to get a reply from a real human which is frustrating when you have an issue or urgent question. When they do get back to you, they are generally great.

Not great for knowledge hub / help resources / content cateloguing - would really love to see improvements here.

**What problems is Circle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

A place for our members to connect, learn, grow with/from each other.

They can eask eachother questions, we share all of our events, important announcements - soon we're adding courses.

It's almost our one-stop shop for supporting our members.

 ### 50. Bad Assery at its finest!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Beatrice S. | CRO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 12, 2025

**What do you like best about Circle?**

I love having my own dedicated community; that Circle made it so easy to understand its use cases, implement its platform, and literally hold my hand along the way, still stuns me!

**What do you dislike about Circle?**

It does require a time commitment. I'm a full time consultant and prioritize my revenue streams. Making time for my community to really be successful has been a challenge.

**What problems is Circle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keeping all things in one location: interaction, courses, discussions, and community camaraderie.
