What do you like best?

CiraSync allows us to keep all of our users up to date with current company contacts from the Global Address List and related information without any extensive setup or management. It is a robust solution with a straight forward and intuitive interface. The initial setup was a breeze, even without using the robust documentation that CiraSync provides. What do you dislike?

My only gripe is having to manually renew my licenses each year. I would prefer an auto renewal, as I have forgotten to renew on time in the past. This requirement, while useful as an opportunity to add or reduce the number of active licenses, would be better served, for me, as an auto renewal. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

This is the solution if you are need an easy to configure and quick to roll-out solution for keeping your staff informed of company contacts from the Global Address List and related Exchange resources. Do keep in mind that any existing manually created contacts that your users may have will not be updated or managed by CiraSync. Best Practice is to delete any contacts that the sync would manage and allow CiraSync to recreate and manage them. I have had a number of users who, early on, where confused by this situation and would come to our help desk with complaints of duplicate contacts and mismatched information. This is entirely a user-created problem, but easily corrected through training and reinforcement of the expected process when using CiraSync. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

No longer do our office or field staff need to manage contacts for company related resources manually. All are updated on a nightly basis with any that are added, removed or modified. My users are happier and better informed than ever before. I have less questions on the timeliness of contact information or providing updates. Users have become used to and expectant of the automated updates. I have become just as used to the system and because of its east of use and low need to upkeep, I have little that I need to tend to with CiraSync on any regular basis, save from licensing new users. What do you like best?

CiraSync is very useful and easy tool for synchronizing you contacts and also creating different folders for different groups, when we moved to O365, we tried different tools but it wasn’t as good as CiraSync, pricing is also very reasonable and the way they handle it, is very flexible. What do you dislike?

What i dont like about CiraSync is that you have to reauthenticate for sync to work and it only works with the account you have created CiraSync account first time, if other admins tries to do that it wont work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

I found out about CyraSync 5 years ago. Back then it was an on prem software called Itrezzo. We were looking for a way to create a folder of contacts in certain users' mailboxes. Support contacted me immediatly to set it up. It was up and running within minutes. Then we switched to CiraSync. Works like a charm with Office 365. Licences are being applied to users from a certain AD group so I have nothing to do in CiraSync itself. I just started using it for shared calendars and shared contacts (shared mailbox do not required a license in O365). It's a product you forget about because it always works. I mean always. If you have a question, you get a really quick reply from a person who gets it (as opposed of someone who haven't read the detailed problem you just submitted). Not for a single moment we regretted choosing CiraSync or thought about trying something else. The product is reliable and the support team really great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We wanted everybody to have a folder of contacts with all employees in it that gets updated automatically, directly on their cell phone so when they need to contact a colleague, it's there.

What do you like best?

Being able to control different contact lists or shared calendars for different subsets of users with ease! Integrates with Office 365 easily. Setup is a breeze and support is responsive if you ever need them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

For our field teams, we're able to push out meetings from a shared calendar without them having to 'accept it'. In addition, having unified up to date contacts by syncing from a public folder to all our users is MUCH easier to manage than adding/removing employees from local contacts via Exchange Shell.

What do you like best?

CiraSync just works. I sometimes forget it is there, because it flawlessly syncs my contacts/calendars/notes without interruption. I also appreciate the granularity with which I can choose items to sync and targets to sync too. We can target specific information to a select group of users, while hiding the same information from people who do not need to know. The system is very flexible for our ever changing needs. What do you dislike?

I'd like a feature to sync more than once a day. Though I seldom need it, I find some of the administrative and logging functions to be difficult to locate. I am sure there are features that I have not explored. Cirasync should advocate more with newsletters, webinars, etc to let current users know what features are available. We synchronize shared calendars and information (contacts and notes) with managers that carry iPhones. For example, we have a Note in Outlook that has security codes. When a code is changed, I can push it to everyone's phones quickly. We have started synchronizing instructions (e.g. how to reset an alarm) as well. What do you like best?

Ease Of Use,

What do you like best?

CiraSync is one of the most reliable softwares we run. It does one job for us and it does it extremely well and that is to sync contacts to all our users. Our users think its magic to automatically get new contacts and remove old ones. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

If there is one thing cirasync could improve it would be that instead of linking to a public contact list that it connects to a AD security group. That way we wouldnt need to manage a seperate public contact list folder. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

Cirasync makes synchronizing/updating the global address list easy and efficient. Updating our Active Directory immediately updates all of our users' mobile devices and gets the information consistent across all devices. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

It works where all other solutions I looked didn't. Other solutions wanted the end user to have to download an app to make their's work. With 200+ mobile devices I didn't want that. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I have been working at my job for almost 6 years. The first task I had was to find an automatic mobile contact program or something of the sort. Back then we had on site Exchange 2010 server. I found something in a month or so. In 2017 we went to O365 and we lost that automatic contact sync. I searched everywhere and couldn't a solution that worked the way we wanted. What do you like best?

CiraSync is so simple it was configured in just a few minutes. We're now saving hours a week on our HelpDesk while only paying a few hundred dollars a month in subscription fees. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The transition from the free version to paid was less than ideal at first because the free version simply stopped working correctly when we hit our company max. Instead of prompting for a paid subscription it simply stopped syncing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We've been an Office365 customer for years, but still had a legacy process of creating contact cards for our field employees. Our HelpDesk would do this tedious task during onboarding, but then forget to do this when someone left or changed phone numbers. It was always a data management nightmare to keep contacts updated. We tried a few other products but sharing our entire company with everyone was way too much and was pulled back 30 minutes after it was deployed. Then we found CiraSync which we deployed to a few pilot users in minutes. We synced just the right distribution lists to different groups, now everything is maintained without issue. What do you like best?

It's so simple to setup and it actually works. Also like the support team and dev. I've brought up some things I wish CiraSync had and next thing I know the feature gets implemented. As far as using the product - love that I can easily sync shared contacts, calendars and notes. Best part is I put it on a nightly schedule so I can set it and forget it. What do you dislike?

I can't think of anything I dislike. I had at one point been bummed because I couldn't export a list of users for invoicing purposes and when Asked for the list, they exported it for me, which was great! Just wished I had the ability to do that myself. Next thing I know, they made it so we can export a list of current users.

It's hard to believe that Microsoft doesn't have a built in way to share the company directory and push that to our smart phones, but they don't. Enter CiraSync!

Being able to push out a live copy of our company directory was huge for us. Before CiraSync all employees had old/stale contact info for past employees. They also had incorrect contact info becasue prior to CiraSync we weren't able to push contact changes to end user's smart phones. Now we set everything up once and set it and forget it!

The added benefit was being able to push out shared calendars. Managers can share calendars and see those calendars on their smart phones. Big benefit! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Our users love having always up to date company contacts synced to their phone, especially iMessage integration and caller ID. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

Only one-way sync for contacts. People are unable to use it easily alongside personal contact details in order to add custom contact notes/fields. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Not all our users are on it (maybe only about 60%) and there is a lot of confusion as to how it works. We would love to find out if there is a way to bypass Exchange ActiveSync altogether and have Cirasync work to push our entire Global Address List to each user's phone. We are also interested in finding a workaround to avoid having to use iCloud to sync personal contacts from the Outlook mobile app as it is a potential security concern (we are an iOS-only BYOD firm). Well what can you say!? It does what is says on the tin. It does what Microsoft and Apple don’t seem to or want to do. It syncs your GAL with your team which includes desktop and mobile. What do you like best?

Being able to load my company contacts on company phones, through Cirasync placing them into the user's Outlook contacts. They're updated automatically. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

We use CiraSync to sync our outlook contacts to our native mobile email accounts. This is a solid piece of software for syncing to native email. Its easy to troubleshoot Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

That if a user is removed, it does not update the contacts on the cell phone by removing the contact. Also not being able to sync contacts in Microsoft Outlook to cell phones. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

I like that it works to sync up contacts and make everyone have the same list. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

The layout is confusing and cumbersome. Creating lists and moving them around is one thing, but searching and finding users in lists is nonexistent. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Spruce up the user interface and make lists searchable. The workflow is also slightly cumbersome. I get to give a walkthrough to new employees and this is the one that makes the least amount of sense to everyone. Mainly, adding contacts to lists that you can't search for except by using the browser's search function is so limiting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

how is works with Microsoft 365 portal and links with an admin account. this makes the setup and deployment very easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

it would be nice to have a setting to sync both ways if you wanted to. I had to create documentation and a Video clip showing a client that they needed to edit the Public Folder as this is what gets pushed to all users. some of the users had not used Public folders before. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

The goal was to cleanup a clients contacts and get them in one centralized location. Once this was done CiraSync solved the problem of pushing it out to phones and outlook so users don't miss a call from a client because they don't have their contact in their phone. What do you like best?

The ability to get contacts where and how I need them. CiraSync offers a centralized service to manage contacts for all my users in one interface.It also offers the ability to sync contacts with only certain groups or even individual users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

The only thing I dislike is not having the ability for MFA. In a security conscious world, I hope this feature is coming. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Our biggest issue was not having the contacts in our GAL accessible to everyone on their phones. CiraSync made this an almost effortless process and the results have been fantastic. We can created groups of contacts for users in the different departments of our organization without any involvement on their part. Additionally, the . resources and support provided by the support staff were already phenomenal even in the early stages on trial and implementation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

CiraSync is super easy to set up and keep running. It doesn't take a ton of messing around and tweaking or configuring. It simply just works. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The dashboard can be a little confusing sometimes for the more advanced operations around syncing public folders. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We are using CiraSync to push a copy of the Exchange GAL to all our BYOD devices. Many folks were confused or missing that they couldn't view the contacts easily (and had to perform a search).
