I like the simple interface that makes it easy to navigate, and I like that you can do so much in one system and include many integrations so that all of your systems can work together. We got great knowledge from our onboarding specialist, Shuaib, who was very friendly, and was always on hand to support us when we needed it. The reporting module could do with a bit of work as the customizations in it are a bit limited. It would be great if there was an easier way to get notified about the need to reorder stock. We signed up hoping for a smooth, scalable platform — but onboarding was disorganized and support was incredibly unhelpful. Every time we asked for guidance, the answer was, “Unfortunately, that’s not possible.” We never fully onboarded, never used the platform, and despite communicating all this early on, CIN7 refused to issue a refund. We have multiple warehouses but Xero does not allow us to track inventory movements across warehouses. Cin 7 Core was the solution for us as it enabled us to track items across warehouses and do much more including product assemblies and production runs. The variety of reports available was also useful for monthly inventory reporting purposes. We've been using Cin 7 Core for five years and it's been working well. The customer support was also prompt and ready to resolve any issues we had. For us the access to the free training was a game changer. I can see how Cin7 Core might be worth it for certain businesses, especially manufacturing companies that need robust raw materials management and complex inventory workflows. Used Cin7 Core for years, back when it was still called Dear Inventory. Once Cin7 acquired them, I knew things would change - and they did, not in a good way.

The platform started adding features I didn't need or use, while simultaneously raising prices significantly. I found myself paying more for the same core functionality that wasn't improving for my specific use case.

Great interface. It's been a lot easier to train staff on this interface than other ERP and WMS systems I have used in the past.

We switched from Cin7 Omni. The Omni product was good, but has some pretty big limitations for us. We switched around the time that Cin7 acquired Dear Systems. Cin7 Core had a much more robust feature set than Cin7 Omni and provides light ERP features at an affordable price point. The integrations with Cin7 Core are much more refined than Cin7 Omni. The support is absolutely woeful.

Support agents lack reading comprehension and therefore don't answer your questions. At times their replies feel like they are gaslighting you. They are in a hurry to close your case before the issue is resolved.

To their credit, it has improved over the last year and at least you will get a response within a day or so. After Cin7 acquired Dear Systems it would take up to a week to receive a reply to a support ticket.

There are lots of really good community feature improvements/suggestions on the old Dear Systems and new Cin7 Core feature request board that just get ignored. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Atulya was very knowledgeable and provided good advice on our queries relating to the way a bespoke shipping cost calculator might be integrated with CIN7 and on the best way for us to utlise the Product BOM functionality. The Academy guidance on configuring shipping costs could not be found, nor could I find any appreciable detail on how to configure the Product BOM.
