Cin7 allows you to generate reports for real-time analysis, enabling you to review, track and manage supplies efficiently. With barcode scanners you can be very accurate in collecting data on products in stock. The onboarding process was very helpful and Nathasha was very knowlegeable and came up with suggestions to help us with various processes. I would highly recommend Cin7 for inventory control/tracking. **What do you dislike about Cin7 Core?** It was a bit complicated to finalise the integration with one third-party platform. Not sure if this had to do with Cin7 though. **What problems is Cin7 Core solving and how is that benefiting you?** Practical features that are used by any warehouse daily, item management, SKU/barcode management etc... all in all a complete package for warehouse management. ### 2. The UI is clean and very natural to navigate. While it definitely takes some time to get things setup, there are lots of guides available to help you along the way. Cin7 is a powerful ERP and automation tool that will help any business scale and automate their back end processes. The support team has also been very helpful, and they have tons of integrations available to connect to your other platforms. Edit after using Cin7 for ~ 1 month - we have had major difficulties moving forward with Cin7. The Shopify integration basically does not work. Orders are missed, inventory is not updated, and no notifications or error messages are provided. We have had major business impacts due to this issues. The Cin7 support team is now basically non-responsive, and any attempts to plead with our Account Executive in the US for any sort of help have been turned into opportunities to try to upsell us on their "onboarding" plans. We don't need onboarding, we need tech support. **What do you dislike about Cin7 Core?** Setup can be a pain, but that's expected with an ERP. It has a familiar and easy to navigate interface which makes training staff members easy. Cin7 has replaced many different bits of software we had to piece together before that still didn't do everything we needed. Now we use Cin7 Core for everything on a daily basis. We use the product creation, stock management, order management, accounting and fulfilment with built in Shipstation. During setup there were a few things we weren't sure on but the help site and articles are very good and detailed. This solved our questions in most cases but any time we had further questions or issue, we would raise a ticket and support were very helpful and quick to resolve the problem. **What do you dislike about Cin7 Core?** The only downside for us so far has been that we would love a few more customisations and options within some of the integrations. We use Faire and there are some things missing from the Cin7 integration that we had before with the Shopify integration. I really hope they get added here soon! **What problems is Cin7 Core solving and how is that benefiting you?** The Cin7 B2B Portal has been a great addition for us. Now we have a portal for our wholesale customers to directly place orders with a Stripe integration to make it quick and easy. The B2B portal storing customers previous orders and inoices is also great. The order management is clear and easy to use, its also easy to sort the orders with filters and see which stage each order is at by looking at the icons in the order list. Overall we're very happy with how we create and manage our products, orders and customers. ### 10. The way if you are unable to filful an order that you can back order it and it creates a Purchase Order is also so easy and flows nicely. My fav feature is the advanced sale - large orders that get picked up at different times but on one invoice. Our orders are imported almost immediately complete with payment information and all pertinent data. The best feature is that our inventory levels syncronize almost immediately across all the store that we have integrated, making core the perfect service to ensure we're able to sell everywhere we want to. They offer a high level of customization for all the documents that we need printed out from Sales Orders to Pick Sheets. Purchase orders allow us to receive partially or in full which is perfect as our suppliers allow shipping in waves. Most of the modules are very intuitive and follow the familiar steps across all of them which means everything will seem familiar as you move from process to process. Support has always been able to address our issues in a timely manner, and always to our satisfaction. The only things that could not be addressed are addressing the wishlist of a small organization like ours, but they are always improving their platform. Migrating all of our data was simple once we understood the process, and the only issues we had were our own fault for not following the steps properly. We moved from Netsuite (overly complicated) to Orderhive (much simpler). We weren't too happy that we were going to have to migrate again but Cin7 brought us onboard and I'm quite happy we went with Core. Core is a VERY capable system firmly planted inbetween the power and complicated systems of one and the simplicity and limitations of the other. **What do you dislike about Cin7 Core?** The reporting module seems to be overly 'difficult' in that some reports don't automatically generate any data, and even hitting refresh does nothing. Though we're able to get the info we need, it's not been a simple task to get to where we are now. Additonally the system would become way better if we were able to have certain items just not print on the picklist. We have many products which are downloads, and are therefore automatically fulfilled in shopify and those orders are imported with the 'fulfilled' status if we turn it on. This means an order can be partially fulfilled. But the problem is when we go to print our pick tickets, we end up printing unfilfilled and partially fulfilled items which is a waste of paper. We print our tickets in bulk (20 at a time) so we don't have the option of printing part of an order. Small thing but if this were to be corrected it would dramatically improve our workflow 10 fold. As a result of the setting we're using now for imported, any edits to an order in shopify aren't picked up by core which means our work is doubled. I would also love for our fulfillment system to become eventually integrated as well, we use Desktop Shipper. But we're not going to hold this against anyone. **What problems is Cin7 Core solving and how is that benefiting you?** We have several shopify stores that sell the same products. Being able to properly syncronize all of our inventory across all stores when an item is sold has allowed us to maintain a much better use of our inventory and costs. ### 12. It looks nice, and things are somewhat intuitive. I like how we were able to customize it so we could track lots of useful information about sales and purchase orders to be looked up quickly when needed by our customer service team. **What do you dislike about Cin7 Core?** It has taken two years for me to finally feel competent at using Dear, and this is right when we might be transitioning away from Dear to move to Odoo. We could not get BOMs to work correctly for our needs, and we have had so many issues with Xero integration and taxation issues within Dear and through Avalara. It is also not easy or intuitive to run the reports that I would find helpful, and customer support is eventually helpful, but it takes at least a day to get a resolution which is a killer in our marketplace. Then there are little things that bugged me, like how I couldn't get rid of the country field when we solely work in the US and there was no need for it to constantly show up on all documents or for us to have to drop down to fill it in. The bane of my existance is the fact that once an order has a payment attached to it, it cannot be easily amended without a whole rigamarole of deleting the payment, making sure it is deleted in Xero, undoing, amending, readding the payment, etc. We have had SO SO SO many issues with Dear/Xero that it is why we are leaving both asap in favor of an enterprise system we are building to suit our needs. **What problems is Cin7 Core solving and how is that benefiting you?** Ostensibly, we are managing inventory levels and accounting through Dear/Xero partnership. We are also able to compile customer and vendor information which is helpful, but we don't utilize the CRM part of Dear, which is probably a bad thing. ### 14. Whenever I report an issue, they respond in a timely manner. Communication from them is always courteous and professional. Product wise, the customization of the sales report is one feature I like the best about Cin7 Core. All the fields that are relevant to my work can be configured, such as SKU, product name, purchase order #, sales channel, customer address. etc. all in one. The city and state are most useful for our analysis of customer sources. **What do you dislike about Cin7 Core?** It seems you need more clicks to navigate around compared to the inventory platform we used before. We offer office pickup to our local customers. Then I manually add the orders to Sales. The clicks to accomplish the task is excessive. Also when you manually update quantities to the channel from integration tab, it often gets stuck. You'll have to logout, re-login, and update again. It then goes through. The pricing on individual channels seems not straight forward. On the previous intventory platform, for each product, we were able to see the price on each channel at once, and make justification on the spot. On Cin7 Core, I'm yet to figure out an easier way to do it. **What problems is Cin7 Core solving and how is that benefiting you?** I reported an urgent issue of channel (Walmart) disappearance under integration tab. Somas Paramanantham provided late-hour support. He helped me dentify the issue to be related to channel re-authorization, and directed me to the right link to re-connect the channel. It came back live almost immediately. I really appreciate Soma's help in solving this problem and getting it going. This is also a learning experience for me. Something to watch out for while using Cin7 Core. ### 18. I trust the data is accurate. I would also like more flexible custom reporting and custom fields using logic. I wish the reporting was quicker too, sometimes it takes a few minutes to generate a report. The fact that allows you to undo many things during your process without screwing your inventory numbers or process is way beyond other softwares that I have used before. Support team is very fast on replying to inquiries and very accurate on solutions, I had an issue with BOMs last week; i checked many times all the components and couldn't find what the issue was, I reached for support and just one email later I got the solution, specifying what item was creating the problem.
