I want to specifically recognize Jason Hallam from Cin7 Core support. I had a very difficult CSV bank statement import issue that was blocking our April reconciliation and tax reporting process. This was not a simple support ticket. The file looked clean on the surface, but there were hidden formatting issues, possible export format changes, and one problem line inside the data that made the upload fail. Jason handled the issue with an exceptional level of care, patience, and technical skill. He did not give me a generic answer. He reviewed the file, identified hidden formatting problems, rebuilt the CSV, checked raw file behavior, explained what he found, and kept working through the problem even when the first solutions did not resolve it. The final breakthrough came from Jason’s suggestion to compare the current file against a previous file that had successfully imported. That suggestion led me directly to the actual issue: the date structure had changed. Once I corrected the date structure and also fixed the problem line Jason had already identified, the import succeeded. I want to be very clear: Jason solved this. His persistence, ownership, and practical troubleshooting directly led to the resolution. This was one of the best customer support experiences I have ever had. Jason made me feel heard, understood the urgency, and treated the issue as if it mattered. That kind of support makes a real difference when a business process is blocked. The system reported that the rows did not match the first line, but the actual cause was not obvious from the message. A more detailed validation error would help users identify issues like date format changes, hidden line breaks, or problematic rows more quickly. Cin7 Core helps us manage important accounting, inventory, and reconciliation workflows. In this case, we needed to complete a bank reconciliation before submitting our books for review, and the CSV import issue was blocking that process. Jason’s support allowed us to identify the issue, complete the import, and move forward. We utilize Cin7 to manage our inventory that integrates to Quickbooks. Cin7 is mostly intuitive and there's plenty of download and upload features that makes it very easy to update data very quickly. If there are fields not readily available, it's easy add information as needed. Also, the onboarding experience was great as our specialist (Justin Anderson) met with us twice a week for a few months. He guided us through each workflow and advised on how to deal with issues specific to our company. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Cin7 Core? Not really a downside but I didn't see a section relate to Delivery Date (only shipping/invoice date was available). We had to manually add in a field. From a production order standpoint, when we manufacture serial numbers through, it looks like you have to manually match the serial numbers on the backend rather than it carrying forward entirely (for our purposes we have serial numbers that have the same output) Finally, not sure if it's a integration issue but our connection to Hubspot imported thousands of customers/contacts and few 'Closed, Won' deals. The biggest pain point we had was serializing products. Our old system forced us to manually select SNs when selling through. Cin7 for the most part can easily mass import SNs and then sell them through to customers. This saved us hours of work. We also have a second instance of Cin7 for our China entity and we can easily sell/buy between the entities as needed. Cin7 Core is a full featured app that can do most things right out of the box. The UI is intuitive and comprehensive. It has many included integrations that perform well. In my opinion pricing is fair for what it offers. Support has been responsive and just recently implemented updates that fixed my issue. They kept me up to date until it was resolved. I am in a very specific industry and need certain features but for the most part I can work around it. The team from support to management do listen to our feedback and implement changes that we've suggested where and when possible / makes logical sense to do so. 2. Support is good, timely and listen. Not AI but humans that understand. If you lay out step by step instructions to replicate any issues, they can then replicate it and apply a fix / patch. 3. When everything is running smooth, it streamlines our processes from PO, SO, sync'ing of stock, warehouse management, 3rd party platform integrations, cogs, BOMsm batch tracking etc etc. 4. UI is quite good / nicely laid out, probably the main dashboard could do with an overhaul. 5. It's real and actual accounting. Other platform's out there don't track landed COGs correctly and many use averages which isn't correct when re-ordering products. 6. The team listens to our feature requests / ideals and have implemented them when possible. 7. AI options we don't really use just yet. 8. Pricing is fair but does seem to increase yearly. I love how Cin7 Core is user-friendly and ties together multiple facets of our business. I appreciate the ability to integrate Cin7 Core with platforms like Shopify and QuickBooks, which allows us to monitor e-commerce orders and track invoices with the same core system. It helps me, as a supply chain specialist, to easily invoice customers and manage vendor payments efficiently. I think Cin7 Core is a good inventory management system. It has all the basics needed for inventory management, and its support has come a long way. It's fairly quick in terms of the responsiveness and feels thorough. The support team listens to what we are saying, understands our business context, and addresses our specific questions and concerns instead of just checking off a support ticket.
