**What do you like best about Churchteams?**

We use Churchteams as our Church Management Software, and it really helps streamline tasks, particularly with groups and member management. I love how easy it is to use, and the support team is second to none—responding quickly to any issues we might have. The developers listen to customer feedback, and the software is continually developing. I was blown away by how easy our migration to Churchteams was, thanks to their awesome support staff, and it's very intuitive, so the learning curve is fairly minimal. Their help with providing an API link for our VBS was incredible and increased our giving significantly. Huge UI strides have been made, making the software look more current and appealing.

**What do you dislike about Churchteams?**

I usually harp on their UI but they have made huge UI strides in the past year that have made the software look more current and more appealing to the end user.

It is the best value for the price and their support is second to none!

**What do you like best about Churchteams?**

The software allows us to accomplish all we need to in one place - recording attendance, sending mass emails or texts, recording donations, and it also allows people to sign up for recurring giving.  It provides a church app that people can download and have contact information for our members, update their own contact information, and upload a photo for their profile. Anytime I have a question on how to do something, I email and the response time is incredibly fast and helpful. They also provide helpful videos on how to do different things.

**What do you dislike about Churchteams?**

Maybe figuring out how to set up automatic follow up for our first time guests. It's partly my fault, because I've been focusing on learning how to do other things with the software, but it has even more potential than I'm currently accessing!

**What problems is Churchteams solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Creating "groups" to be able to accurately track attendance. It helps me to do all I need to under one platform. Previously we were using Church Windows, Mail Chimp, Vanco, and Planning Center for different things, and now everything is under one platform, which is so nice.

**What do you like best about Churchteams?**

Church Teams is a user-friendly software that is easy to use even for those, like me, who are technology-challenged.  We use it for our membership database. We use texting, emails, giving, reports, and many more functions. 
The website has a HELP option that is very handy. This software is exciting and fun to use.

What I like best is the excellent support I get from the help desk. My emailed questions are answered in a very timely manner. Even when I  need additional help, those who answer my calls are patient and kind and walk me through my difficulties.

Every time I use Church Teams, I find another application that helps my workflow, keeping track of members to touch base with when absences continue. My ministers love the registration function. 

Church Teams is a game-changer! It provides so many tools to help a church keep up with members, ministries, giving, communication and more.

**What do you dislike about Churchteams?**

Nothing! Again, this is the easiest software I have used in my entire life!

**What problems is Churchteams solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Church Teams helps me solve the variety of requests from our membership group. It is a quick and easy application to use when tracking attendance, giving, campaigns, designated donations, etc. I use the communication aspect all the time. It is easy to provide up-to-date ways to contact members when time is critical.

**What do you like best about Churchteams?**

I really like the texting feature, I think it's great that you can send something to a large group, or text one on one without having to give everyone your number. I like the group interface for congregant users, I think it is easy to use once you learn about it.

**What do you dislike about Churchteams?**

It is frustrating when you're trying to use GroupFinder and it logs you out every time. 

I wish there was a real app or better integrations with the other platforms we currently use.

**What problems is Churchteams solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is solving the problem of "how do we organize and communicate with our group members"? With over 200 people in around 40 groups, it does make things easy to track and pay attention to.

**What do you like best about Churchteams?**

I like that Churchteams is an all-in-one solution. Especially with text messaging, it can get messages out to our members, groups, or teams efficiently. It houses everything at one time, reducing the amount of manual work, which helps alleviate some of the time spent on manual tasks. Also, Churchteams is very usable and user-friendly, allowing multiple people to use it. Setting it up was very easy with the help of Boyd and the team, ensuring a smooth transition.

**What do you dislike about Churchteams?**

The only thing is in groups if I'm updating, like, payments or questions that we might manually get, because some of our older members are not technology savvy. It refreshes it where you have to go back and find the person. Like, let's say I'm updating they paid $12 and we have to go and update it, it'll refresh it, and I have to go back and find that person.

**What problems is Churchteams solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Churchteams to manage communication, collect tithes, track attendance, handle event registrations, and process payments. It centralizes everything, reducing manual work, especially with text messaging, making it a very helpful all-in-one database.

**What do you like best about Churchteams?**

It is a one stop shop for all member data.  It is nice to quickly be able to pull reports, make notes, pull giving data, update member data, and have all member info accessible quickly.  The support@churchteams.com has been amazing with all of their assistance and I LOVE how quickly they respond to any questions that we have.  Churchteams is also extremely affordable for any size church.

**What do you dislike about Churchteams?**

It would be great if the monthly payment site was integrated into the main Churchteams database and not on a different site and only accessible to the Financial Administrator to update.  I don't know if there are plans to integrate Churchteams with a payment database such as Quickbooks, but that would make it much easier to reconcile payments.  Learning Churchteams is overwhelming for a new user.  It would be helpful to create a "high level" one stop shop PowerPoint for the different levels of users.  The only other issue that I run into is having to email support with a Churchteams error of "recipient address suppressed due to customer policy".

**What problems is Churchteams solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before we were using a database that not only cost more but was much more ancient in it's technology.  Now we are able to integrate, communicate to different groups, and eventually utilize their check-in system.  It really is a one-stop-shop for all church needs.

We would love to hear from you regarding access to the financial feature.  If you are at the administrator level, you should have the access you need to record and view all donor records.  While we are not bookkeeping software, we do offer an excellent, efficient report you can import directly into your QB account.  We also have an online reconciliation report to help you reconcile donations with your bank statement.  If you are looking for further information or I haven't properly addressed the issue you are experiencing, please ask our Support team about this as well as the issue you are having with email templates.  The system is designed to always save your last work if it times out after 4 hours.

**What do you like best about Churchteams?**

The online church directory via the Churchteams app or website integration has been so beneficial to our congregation with its ease of access and helpful UI. It has also saved our administrative staff time by allowing our congregants to update their own information in our directory.

The app preforms well on any phone that I have installed it on. The desktop UI is also very intuitive from the Staff page. We have integrated our background check software, ProtectMyMinistry, with Churchteams and it has worked very well. We are able to order and check on background checks just be clicking on a user's profile. This has made the organization of this information much easier and much more accessible to our security team.

The price for our church we feel is very fair for how much we use it. Their pricing works in tiers which is very reasonable for most church sizes. Upon signing up, we were given many onboarding resources to get us up to speed on how to use the software. 

The biggest benefit we have found with using Churchteams is the Check-In system for our children's ministry at church. The system is intelligently designed and provides peace of mind for all of our parents/guardians and our workers knowing that our children are safe.

There are still so many features that we have not used. I believe the majority of churches would benefit from going with Churchteams for their church management software.

**What do you dislike about Churchteams?**

There are parts of the UI that can be a bit clunky at times, but nothing that I would actively complain about. With the new interface, I believe Churchteams is heading in the right direction.

We also use Churchteams for tracking our offerings, and that system has been a little cumbersome with the way we need to input "batch" giving for a specific Sunday. This probably has more to do with our familiarity with the system rather than an issue with the system itself.

**What problems is Churchteams solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Online directory - Our directory updates were also so cumbersome and difficult having to track down people to get their updated address and info. It also made printed directories go immediately out of date. With the ability for congregants to update their own information on the directory in real time, this has significantly improved our directory system.

Child Check-In - This was actually our initial reason for going with Churchteams. We wanted a check-in software for our children's ministry that was not too corporate feeling while also being professional. Since Churchteams was designed with ministry leaders in mind, this whole process has been very easy.

I use Churchteams for its church database capabilities, which allow me to communicate efficiently with all church members. I appreciate how it handles records of giving and receipts, and also facilitates online giving, making financial management straightforward. I love the seamless cloud-based integration; it solves the problem of accessing everything in one space. I'm impressed that I can log in from my phone or any computer without needing to be tied to a physical location. I really enjoy the complete integration Churchteams offers, serving as a single platform to manage emails, events, groups, registrations, and sign-ins, which is incredibly convenient. The setup was incredibly easy, and they make it very seamless for us.

**What do you like best about Churchteams?**

I love the support and service the Churchteams team provides us. Whenever there is an issue or question, they have been incredibly responsive and helpful. There was one instance where they added a key feature to the software to meet one of our needs. I love the ability to customize attributes and preferences for people registered in the database. We can log into their profile things like spiritual gifts, working genius assessments, 16Personalities, and DISC profiles, which helps us match the right people for the right serving opportunities. The initial transition was great with the help of the Churchteams staff, who used a CSV file to populate most of our membership data, making the process very smooth.

**What do you dislike about Churchteams?**

Churchteams takes a little bit of time to get used to navigating and operating within. It isn't always intuitive for all generations, so there is a learning curve. I've seen that navigating tools like communicating is not intuitive for all people. Some may find clicking communicate is easier while others go into the group to communicate. But it isn't always as simple as 'This is the preferred method' or 'Least amount of steps'. Another issue would be a way to adjust the timeout when drafting emails. There are times when it takes a while to develop a template or email, and when you are about done or want to send or preview, the system times out and kicks you out. Sometimes it auto-saves right before that and other times you have been working without realizing it isn't being saved.

Churchteams transformed our outdated, local system into an accessible, up-to-date database, improving membership and giving management. It solved volunteer scheduling issues by automating reminders, ensuring volunteers get timely notifications. It helps us manage community data, volunteer coordination, and communication effectively.

I really appreciate the solid support from Churchteams' organization. They have a really good support team that responds to issues as we manage the software administratively. I appreciate how they have individuals for all the different aspects of the software, so when I have questions about different aspects of my church ministry, I know there's always someone I can call for support. Every single person on the support team is always cheerful and willing to help with whatever I need. The onboarding process was really great because Boyd was a tremendous support and made the process seamless.

I think probably the main thing I would like to see improved is the graphical interface of the software. I know they just upgraded it, but that's just something I think because I came from Planning Center.

I enjoy the ease of use of Churchteams, which makes things straightforward for me. The support staff is very knowledgeable and kind, which I appreciate a lot. The giving feature is very helpful, allowing me to keep a detailed record of all offerings given to the ministry. The database functionality enables me to effectively connect with those who participate and support the ministry. Additionally, the initial setup was pretty easy, especially with the help of my knowledgeable son and the support team.

For a multi-campus church, the contribution portion could be improved to allow for campus identification to be included in contribution reports.

**What do you like best about Churchteams?**

We chose ChurchTeams due to their reputation for Customer Support. They have a feedback-rich environment and are regularly making improvements to the database based on customer experience. CT is Christ-focused and people-focused. They view data as a tool for growing God's kingdom. They are continually seeking to improve the system to meet church needs and are very responsive to the client experience. I also like that I can access CT from anywhere, even my phone.

**What do you dislike about Churchteams?**

Because CT is constantly improving, there are regular updates. For someone like me, who doesn't like change, I have to challenge myself to learn the new features. Ultimately these changes make processes more efficient.

**What problems is Churchteams solving and how is that benefiting you?**

A few personal examples: I was having trouble finding church members who go by nicknames. (PJ = Philip)  After providing feedback, CT added a "legal first name" field and coded the search tool to check both the "first name field" and the "legal first name" field.  This improvement made my work a lot easier. The mass update feature has helped make data changes more efficient. CT has also provided best practices to us so we could establish church-wide protocols on how we handle data. For example, what do you do in the database when someone passes away? Not long after our inquiry, CT made coding changes that would trigger data changes (if desired) to make this data process happen automatically.

**What do you like best about Churchteams?**

The most helpful tool about Churchteams is their customizable attributes. This program can serve the capacity of a large or a very small church because they let each customer change and add what they need to make it work perfectly. I also love their customer service, I've never had a business be so relational and kind- that's priceless!

This is hard to answer because there is nothing that's been horrible or that I dislike. Whenever I have a suggestion the leaders/creators either solve it for me by showing me what to do, or they take it into account and add it to their list of things to update in the future. So cool. 

This  is minimal, but it would be so cool for  Churchteams to be connected to CCLI in the future so that all communication with worship teams can also include the songs/song sheets. But there are other programs out there that do this!

We recently created a discipleship program and Churchteams helped me design an accountability system for our disciples within the group structures. It has benefited our church greatly to have support and accountability for those discipling so that they do not feel alone. Churchteams is helping us be pastoral AND structured!

Churchteams was very easy for us to learn and get started with. The team is excellent. They were very helpful in getting us set up. If we ever have questions, they are there to answer and/or walk us through. I love that they have a built-in means of communication, email and text messaging; we no longer need to use another program for emails or texting. We can set up our own keywords to use TextToChurch.

**What do you dislike about Churchteams?**

I wouldn't say I "dislike" the workflows, but they are not quite as intuitive to use. There are some ways I would like to use the option. However, I have not yet figured out how to make it work. Admittedly, I have not reached out for help yet, so there may be a way to make it happen.

Churchteams provides us a means to easily communicate with our small congregation, set up Events, track attendance, and handle online giving. We can run any of the built-in reports as well as create our own reports that are special to our needs. Also, it allows us to customize information for our members.

We've used CT at APU for years now. And there are many reasons why! I am so grateful to CT for their 1-1 customer service, personal approach, patience, and flexibility AND creativity with us as we have sought to utilize this platform for our mentoring program. They worked with us to make it happen when it hadn't been done before. We really appreciate their kindness and perspective on ministry. APU LOVES CHURCH TEAMS!

It's not always easy to get a rep on the phone these days. Ya'll must be poppin! However, the detailed emails have been life-savers. Also, the time difference in calling hours is PST... not bad... just something to consider. AKA--Why not have an LA chapter?! LOL.

I can't think of any problems that CT is solving currently. In the past, they helped us figure out how to have a profile page for mentors, which was a new idea.

I love that we have all our info in one place and can easily see what groups, ministries, etc. people are involved in.  The notes are great for being able to update when we follow-up with someone.  We use it to track attendance and membership for our small groups and I use it to reach out to my various groups.  We also use it for financials however I'm not involved in that aspect.

I still have trouble getting some of our folks to update their info even though churchteams is so easy!

Besides small group and ministry tracking, assimilation.  We use the workflow to track visitors and route their info to the appropriate leader depending upon what box they checked.

Not being able to delete multiple texts from my "inbox" despite the responses not being for me. For example, our lead pastor send out a "Happy Thanksgiving," and 88 people responded. I had to manually go into each and every text  and clear them.

Churchteams has been so easy to use. The initial upload of information was all handled for us and easy, the transition was seamless, and the experience has been user-friendly to our pastors and congregation! We combined a few databases into one, which our administrative staff loves. We also have found their system of following up with people to be easy to prevent people from slipping through the cracks. When we have had any questions or aren't sure how to do something their team has responded right away about

In Churchteams everything is a group. Small groups, skills, interests, special events, email lists with restricted members, etc. All of them are groups.  It would be nice to have another way to categorize people, such as a tag or an email list that people couldn't join themselves for our prayer team or something similar. This is both the greatest strength and the biggest weakness of Churcteams. It has taken a lot of adjustment time for my staff to understand that EVERYTHING is a group.

**What problems is Churchteams solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We used to have to use multiple databases. One for event registration, one for sending group emails, one for a directory, and one for our main database with giving details and notes. Churchteams has combined all of that into one database, and it is much easier for our staff than any other databases we were using.

There isn't anything I dislike at this time regarding ChurchTeams. In fact, I have been vocal since 2015 about the fact that Churchteams customer service is world-class, certainly the very best in the ChMS industry. They listen to their customers!

Their support team is excellent! It is wonderful to be able to do everything in one place and have all our leaders and staff be able to access that data when they need it. The support folks are the best. They are knowledgeable and responsive to our needs. We don't have to wait long for help. We evaluated several others, and this one far exceeds the others in functionality from both the membership and financial sides. The ability for group leaders to easily access the database and keep track is a plus. The robust email capability is the best on the market.

That you cannot customize the user access levels a bit more.  I'd like to see a more robust volunteer sign-up application. Misspellings are not always getting flagged.

In their effort to diminish administrative work...the software causes the administrator to do more merging of records. However...the payoff is worth this extra work.

**Recommendations to others considering Churchteams:**

Church Teams is very user friendly and is a great support for our Pastors. They can easily access Church Teams on their phone for a quick look up of a congregants info or get a 360 degree view of the whole family. The reports are robust with the capability to pull out all kinds of info. Support is top notch and available to assist with any question.

Ease of access for our congregation with registrations, small group connections, and giving.

Churchteams is a quick an easy way to reach a variety of groups in our congregation.

Churchteams works well once you know how to use it.  It could be a little more user-friendly.

Churchteams gave us the perfect opportunities for our congregation to register during covid.  We continue to use the text to register function when we have events we need to track registration for.

No real dislikes at this time as they are constantly making improvements based on user feedback.  We would like to see flexible controls on the security settings to control which users could make specific changes to info.

**What do you like best about Churchteams?**

The software has grown in capability over the years. What first caught my attention was the ease for small group leaders to report their meeting attendance. This gave us much better insight into what was happening in our small groups.

**What do you dislike about Churchteams?**

The software does so much more and therefore has become a little more complicated to use. All the information is there but it may take a little time to sort through the menu's to find what you are looking for. This is not so much a problem as a reality that comes with a full church management software package.

We use Churchteams to track small group and Sunday moring attendance, keep track of missing members, record and track financial giving, and so much more.

They are very helpful when emailed a question.  I have never gone more than 24 hours without a response and many time get a response the same day.

Merging families throught the entire alphabet is difficult

We are currently creating an online Connection Card that will be most helpful with our database management.  Reporting from Groups and Financial Reporting has been easy to explain to other staff.

**What do you like best about Churchteams?**

The text-to-church functionality is incredible. We have used it for everything from giving to group sign-ups, and most recently even to send people to things like the bible app!

**What do you dislike about Churchteams?**

The most frequent thing we have heard is that the user interface for giving is not the best. More specifically, it is difficult for members to change their recurring gifts. Rather than just updating the amount or the frequency, you have to cancel one recurring donation altogether and start a brand new one with the new amount/frequency.

**What problems is Churchteams solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have utilized automation for first-time guest connections by setting reminders for leaders to follow up with guests. We have also developed an excellent prayer ministry by utilizing text-to-church, allowing our church members to send in their prayer requests directly to the prayer team at any time and from anywhere.

The customer service team is fantastic.  They respond quickly, offer solutions, take suggestions are fun folks.  Texting features (especially text-to-church) are fabulous.  Excellent for managing groups.  Pricing is very good, especially for a smaller church.  Love having the complete interface on my phone without an external app to get in the way.

**What do you dislike about Churchteams?**

I'd like to see calendar integration and a more intuitive scheduling system, especially when it comes to templates and recurring events.  It's been difficult for my leaders to implement.

Team communication (worship, Christian Ed).  CRM features for contacting and logging interactions with parishioners is a nice plus.

**What do you like best about Churchteams?**

The flexible database allows you to create any type of sign-in, record any number of data entries, and search for any parameter you might think of.  As a database, Churchteams is top-notch! The group database is great and has the flexibility to be used for any number of other tasks.  ChurchTeams is a truly spectacular sandbox for community data entry.

**What do you dislike about Churchteams?**

I want a more intuitive workflow system that would allow me to track the discipleship progress of our Church Members.  Although these values can be recorded under personal profiles, it would be great to be able to put them at the top of the flow and have them move through it with a click of a button!

**What problems is Churchteams solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We've used Churchteams to develop a small group coaching structure, track a variety of church metrics, and provide meaningful follow-up with first-time attenders.  While it's not initially apparent, CT has so many tools that can be adapted for a variety of different tasks.

**What do you like best about Churchteams?**

This is a user-friendly, intuitive database.  I learned how to get started on the basics with their sample database and teaching videos.  We have had multiple users learn on their own how to create the different setups needed for check-in, sign-ups, finances, small groups, etc.  We had two different systems prior to churchteams, including a high priced, well known, fancy system that even flew out a person to help train us but still made little sense due to the use of their own language that in no way connected with church ministry on the ground.  Runner up reason is the customer service.  They are always available and have even changed things in their programming at our request, which we never would have expected.  It is unusual how good the customer care is.

**What do you dislike about Churchteams?**

We have yet to discover a downside.  The only thing I'd say is that we don't use it in the "teams" based way that they have created which opens the door for all church member access.

If you are looking for a usable church database, this is the one!

Churchteams solved the problem of database systems that aren't user friendly.  With past systems we could at best get one administrative person up to speed on how it works.  This allows our administrator, any staff, and even needed volunteers who do a specific function to use the system.  We use it for small groups, general church roster, ministry teams, individual and recurring events, childrens ministry check in, communication, and finances.

Churchteams allows us to have access everywhere all the time. To track attendance, communicate to others and move people through the steps of discipleship.

The only thing that would make Churchteams better is if they also developed an app or a more text type way of responding to text messages.

Instead of trying to piece your church management software together from a number of different services and end up paying a lot more for things that don't work together - try out Churchteams.com for free! And I guarantee once you use it - you'll want to keep using it. It only gets better as the team there is constantly improving their software based on needs we have emailed requesting.

Primarily it is our go to resource for communicating with people according to their individual desires. But their text to give functionality makes reviving and tracking donations easy.

**What do you like best about Churchteams?**

What I like best about ChurchTeams is how helpful their customer service is. ChurchTeams is an all-encompassing program that has many facets. We can manage a wide range of data with this particular application (attendance, membership, tithing, pledges, groups, etc.) While it may be intimidating at first, Church Teams offers free educational resources so you can get the most out of your subscription.

**What do you dislike about Churchteams?**

While ChurchTeams has been extremely helpful with their capabilities, they still some areas of improvement. For example, their ability to communicate between pledges and tithing needs significant improvement. We recently conducted a capital campaign, and every single commitment had to be manually entered by an administrator in our office. Ideally, Churchteams will continue to make updates, which they have proven they are committed to.

**What problems is Churchteams solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before ChurchTeams, we had no way of reporting data. By incorporating ChurchTeams into our day-to-day office functions, we can report tithing by individuals, by households, by month, by year - the possibilities are endless. We can now use this data to gather educated guesses regarding the future of our organization and our general budgets.
