What do you like best about ChurchStaq?

CCB is easy to use and easy to make changes. It is user friendly and how to do things is basically innate. I went through a long training process as we switched over but the things I do Day-to-day don’t need a lot of training. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ChurchStaq?

There have been things that we would like to be able to do and we’ve been told that it’s coming soon (or that they’ve heard that often and it will eventually be added). Also anytime there is a technical question we have to funnel it through one person in our church. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about ChurchStaq?

I can track my Church community and organize different events and services Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ChurchStaq?

Some of the limitations on the workflow are unnecessarily restrictive which makes the process more difficult. This necessitates workarounds which are inefficient and often inhibit other workflows. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about ChurchStaq?

The most helpful thing about church community builder is the lead app! I love how you can look up peoples information at your convenience from your smart phone. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ChurchStaq?

I dislike the reports in CCB. the structure of questions and the way you build a report is very time consuming And not user friendly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Best way to follow church guests, volunteers, and members. "

What do you like best about ChurchStaq?

I love that just about everything needed to manage a database is all in one. Not only does this have basic functions such as family and personal info, but it also allows us to organize groups and manage events and host forms for people to fill out. There is also a way to track progress of individuals and always have a touchpoint for them: whether it is connecting onto a team, a small group, or attending an event. There is also a way to pull reports to find specific data. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ChurchStaq?

I do not like the number of apps they have. I feel like having one app (similar to them having one website) and our rights/privileges crossing over into the apps would be easier than having an app for leaders, an app for congregants, an app for check-in, etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about ChurchStaq?

Since starting to work with Church Community Builder in 2014 there has been extraordinary customer service and what I like most is that they are constantly making their software better every year that we have been with them. With that said, there have been major improvements with the new app that they have just released this past year. The user experience with the LEAD app has been incredible for people of all ages to navigate and easy for our staff, volunteers, and community to be up-to-date on the various groups they are involved with, attendance tracking, profile updating, and so much more! This is a company that will continue to strive for excellence and will be on the cutting edge as technology continues to develop. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ChurchStaq?

There are times when the updates are not fast enough and you have to create "work arounds" in order to accomplish the goals that you have for your church. With that said, a lot of the work arounds that we have had to create has been taken care of by an update! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Complicated Yet Functionable"

What do you like best about ChurchStaq?

I liked the ease of communication options with CCB. It is very easy to search a group, find a group, communicate what you need with that group via email. I never used the Twext tool that much, but that is very beneficial, and something that is not supported directly by Planning Center Online. That is the only true cut above that CCB has on Planning Center Online. The Twext tool allows you to send a text to everyone in the group seamlessly.

The communications for the groups (emails) looks pretty good. It's slightly better than sending an email with plain text. However, Planning Center can integrate with MailChimp, which will take your emails to the next level. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ChurchStaq?

The layout is HORRID. CCB is trying to be something like a mock-social media platform, but it is so complicated and not user-friendly. I would not recommend it because of how complicated it is to do things. Whenever you finally figure out how to do what you want, it is a powerful tool.

The layout alone doesn't even come close to Planning Center. The user-friendly nature of Planning Center overshadows CCB immensely. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"CCB has been a great data resource tool. "
3.5/5
What do you like best about ChurchStaq?

The thing I like the best is how in depth the information stored can be. It’s such a good tool to keep up with your congregation and volunteers and be able to help them in any way you can. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ChurchStaq?

The downsides are the attendance, metrics, and pulling of the reports. I work in student ministry, and often have to pull lists of students’ parents. The process for this is never ending and unnecessarily complicated. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Pushpay is Useful and Easy to Use"
4.5/5
What do you like best about ChurchStaq?

Pushpay is great for congregants of a local Church to set up automated giving and not have to worry about writing a weekly or monthly check. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ChurchStaq?

There really is nothing to dislike. Donations do have to be in the range of one to twenty-five thousand dollars. Occasionally someone will try to make a donation outside of this range. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
