"chromium is my favourite web browser"
5/5
What do you like best about Chromium?

Chromium is my favourite 100% of my internet time browser. Despite it is very popular worldwide it was my favourite web browser long before it; using it as web IDE / testing / development tool also.

I am currently using latest development build for linux x64 directly updating from chromium developers site and with custom bash wrapper with plenty commandline flags to fine-tune and optimize for browser experience and development pusrposes.

Chromium supports all latest tecnlogies and standards, it is important for those who expect "something new" every day. Chromium is extremely secure to even forget about browser security issues with web-sites and content, some additional settings and filters are applied by extensions. What do you dislike about Chromium?

I think high RAM consumption is a small disadvantage, especially along with flash videos, but as soon as flash will be deprecated it is not a problem. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great browser, specially for developers"
5/5
What do you like best about Chromium?

- The loading speed

- The extra privacy it offers (less data sent to 3rd parties)

- The extra speed it offers, due to less bloatware

- The fact that the upcoming core browser features usually comes to chromium first, rather than chrome

- The development tools

- The ability to create workspaces, which allows me to work on my project right inside the browser, where they are intended to be used)

- The cache's behavior

- The stability is relatively good, considering we are talking about a browser version that most of the time is a nightly build

- The tooling it provides for performance optimization / analytics

- The lack of excessive branding Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Chromium?

- The fact that even though it supports most of the Chrome's functionality and commodities

- The update process can sometimes turn out to be pretty tedious

- The instability (on Windows / Mac)

- The sync ability

- The lack of AAC, MP3 and H.264 support Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"If you value privacy over experience, Chromium is for you"
4/5
What do you like best about Chromium?

Chromium shares the same DNA as Google Chrome, which means that the browsing experience is very similar (both browsers use the same rendering engine and the same JavaScript engine), while privacy concerns are mostly addressed due to the lack of activity tracking. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Chromium?

Privacy comes at a price. No automatic updates (unless you're running Linux), and no automated updates for Flash. On top of that, not all plugins work. With a bit of digging around, you can get it to the same level of versatility as its younger brother, but that requires time and effort. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Google Chrome Quickly Overtook Firefox and Definitely Internet Explorer as the Go-To Browser For All"
5/5
What do you like best about Chromium?

Google Chrome's (Chromium's) speed and security prove unrivaled compared to the other "majors" like Internet Explorer and Firefox. Moreover, the ecosystem of plugins, extensions, and themes is far superior to other web browsers. This truly is a browser that can appeal to the most casual Internet user, all the way to a professional developer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Chromium?

Not much to dislike. It doesn't come pre-installed on every computer, so there's that. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Has the power of Chrome behind it. The way Chrome/chromium has been architected mean it should be very stable and quick. - in test the is very true. great OS. However still needs a lot more to be used for heavy business use Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Chromium?

If you have many tabs open it slows down massively.

Also If you don't have an internet connection there isn't much you can do. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
