Also, I appreciate that all the features can be managed, so agents don't mess around with the OS. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Portability and Quick Setup with Chrome OS"
4/5
What do you like best about Chrome OS?

I like ChromeOS because its really convenient, it's more affordable than an expensive or heavy laptop. The integration with Google Workspace is excellent, it allows me to easily share files with my Android devices and team members. I also like that Chrome OS is very portable, especially when used on Chromebooks, which are light and easy to carry around. This portability is really useful on-site for tasks like emailing requirements and writing and reading reports directly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Chrome OS?

Software limitations compared to Windows laptops, it is not compatible with many applications, but that's enough for what I work with on site. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Smooth Transition, Powerful Features"
5/5
What do you like best about Chrome OS?

I like Chrome OS because I can use many services on one platform, which makes things simple and efficient for me. I appreciate being able to open multiple tabs and if I accidentally close Chrome, I can retrieve all opened tabs from history. Saving passwords and accessing bookmarks are additional features that make my experience smoother. One of the best features is that when I'm watching a YouTube video and my laptop shuts off due to a power drop, I can reopen it and the video resumes from the same moment it was switched off. I also love the new feature, Gemini. Additionally, we've switched from Edge because Chrome OS is easy to use and works very fast. The setup was very easy; no IT knowledge was needed to install it. What do you dislike about Chrome OS?

I wish it would remove cache automatically, which would be a good thing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Perfect for Beginners, Lacks Depth for Experts"
2/5
What do you like best about Chrome OS?

I like how easy it is to teach basic repair and restart procedures with Chrome OS. The AI interface allows our employees to self-train, which means there's no need for the company to provide on-the-job training. I also appreciate that Chrome OS required minimal setup since it practically started itself, just asking for a name. It’s a great operating system for beginners and storing our entire HR is quite straightforward with it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Chrome OS?

It's basically the Ford of tech for everyone, not the tech gurus and prodigies of this tech age. It's for the beginners and teachers; for the real IT world, it's kids play. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
