**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ryan K. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 16, 2023

**What do you like best about Chrome OS?**

I have a HP Chromebook which was about £200 I wanted a small laptop so I could just browse the web, check emails and edit some documents. For such a cheap system I was amazed how fast the OS was, it boots up pretty much instantly and everything just works seamlessly. One of my favourite things about Chrome OS is that it's one of the most secure OS's out there with built in anti-virus saving me money at the same time as protecting the system. I use a lot of Google services day to day and having everything integrated is a really nice feature.

**What do you dislike about Chrome OS?**

Chrome OS is quite heavily dependant on an active internet connection so if you wanted to do some work on the train or anywhere with limited internet access then it would become quite difficult. There also seems to be a limited selection of apps compared to Windows and macOS I guess this is due to Chrome OS running on Google Play, you can download linux based apps but finding the right version can be quite tedious.

**What problems is Chrome OS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Chrome OS is fast, secure and cheap so it was a great choice when choosing a system to help with my Google based work as I didn't need to buy an expensive system to do some basic tasks.
