## Chrome OS Reviews
  ### 1. Perfect for Beginners, Lacks Depth for Experts

**Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vincent S. | Owner, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**What do you like best about Chrome OS?**

I like how easy it is to teach basic repair and restart procedures with Chrome OS. The AI interface allows our employees to self-train, which means there's no need for the company to provide on-the-job training. I also appreciate that Chrome OS required minimal setup since it practically started itself, just asking for a name. It’s a great operating system for beginners and storing our entire HR is quite straightforward with it.

**What do you dislike about Chrome OS?**

It's basically the Ford of tech for everyone, not the tech gurus and prodigies of this tech age. It's for the beginners and teachers; for the real IT world, it's kids play.

**What problems is Chrome OS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Chrome OS simplifies our digital storage and data access, with easy teaching for basic repairs and restarts. The AI interface aids in employee self-training, eliminating the need for company-provided training.

  ### 2. Selling of the customer data to the third party without taking written consent from the consumer.

**Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about Chrome OS?**

I like the Password management feature of the software. There is no need of remembring the user ID and password.

**What do you dislike about Chrome OS?**

Data handling management of the vendor is under question. They dont have control on the monotoring of the use of data . No company can use the personalized data of the customer for the advertising purpose. This is very sensitive issue of data privacy.

**What problems is Chrome OS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

All Google product is interlinked. They share the data between the multiple product . So due to connectivity there is no need of registering so many times on multiple products. Because of that they save the time and effort of the end user.

  ### 3. Useful Operating System but only for internet browsing

**Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shanker R. | Chief Information Security Officer & Head Business Continuity, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 11, 2023

**What do you like best about Chrome OS?**

Lite weight OS. Boot time is almost few seconds. Good for internet browsing. Google apps like google sheet, docs, drive works well. No maintenance over heads. organization did not need to spend much on security controls. Browser based apps works well. Easy to use and simple interface. Licensing is not expensive as compared to mac and windows 10, 11

**What do you dislike about Chrome OS?**

Not good for business applications including exe based applications. Does not get integrated with active directory. Not suitable for enterprise grade organisation as the system cannot be controlled centrally. Microsoft office suite does not work including outlook. Google docs does not have all features as Microsoft 365. Industry grade antivirus solutions are not compatible.

**What problems is Chrome OS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Saving in opex and capex (hardware and software) and we are giving this OS to limited set of users who are working only on web based apps and doing research on finance & capital market

  ### 4. simple but not so usefull
