**Reviewed by:** Shilpa N. | manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 03, 2026

**What do you like best about Chrome Enterprise?**

Chrome Enterprise stands out as a leading secure enterprise browser because it pairs the familiar, user-friendly Google Chrome interface with strong, centralized IT controls, making it easier to manage and secure browsing across an organization.

**What do you dislike about Chrome Enterprise?**

Chrome Enterprise uses heavy RAM consumption, its performance bottlenecks on older hardware, and strict data privacy.heavy RAM consumption, performance bottlenecks on older hardware, and strict data privacy concerns. Additionally, IT administrators note the annual cost , limited offline capabilities compared to desktop operating systems, and challenges integrating with non-Google ecosystems like Microsoft 365.

**What problems is Chrome Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Chrome Enterprise solves the operational and security challenges of managing a remote or hybrid workforce by transforming the browser into a secure, centralized endpoint. It mitigates data leaks, prevents malware, and streamlines IT administration across all devices without requiring complex software installations or changes to user habits

  ### 2. Tab Options and Alignment Stand Out, But Room for Improvement

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pottipadu J. | Application Analyst, Banking, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Chrome Enterprise?**

Chrome has good options for the tabs and alignment. It can be integrated with other applications, extensions is also a plus, andits user friendly, it syncs with gmail.

**What do you dislike about Chrome Enterprise?**

Though Chrome has some great features there is a concern with the security features. Google password protection, regular updates may not be very reliable.

**What problems is Chrome Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solves the problem of syncing with other applications, useful extensions, organized reading lists, Voice to text and PDFs can be read over in another tab.

  ### 3. Exploring Security Features in Chrome Enterprise

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Divya g.

**Reviewed Date:** August 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Chrome Enterprise?**

I find Chrome Enterprise straightforward and easy to use. I didn't encounter any challenges while using it.

**What do you dislike about Chrome Enterprise?**

I find the authentication process between workspaces cumbersome because it requires manual intervention when deploying reports. I'm unsure how Chrome Enterprise addresses authentication issues, particularly with Power BI workspaces. Additionally, I'm seeking clarity on how Chrome's security management can prevent authentication leakage during third-party integrations, as this is a critical area for my workflow.

**What problems is Chrome Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

n/a

  ### 4. Chrome One of the Best product from the house of Google

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** RAKESH K. | Assistant Professor and Junior Research Fellow, Education Management, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 26, 2024

**What do you like best about Chrome Enterprise?**

Very usefull for day to day internet surfing. A lot of features packed browser which helps in daily works. As it is a product of Google, user can access most of the Google web products through this with a single sign in. User interface is very clean and easy to use. Many extensions are there which make thing more simpler. Overall it is my most important tool in my daily works.

**What do you dislike about Chrome Enterprise?**

It takes a lot of RAM and storage. The ad blockers do not work perfectly. Many of it's extensions are not working, some of those are harmfull too. So a periodically checking for the extensions are must needed.

**What problems is Chrome Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The chrome browser is my virtual work place. From the start of my day to end it supports me with flawless browsing experience along with a lot of features like single sign in to access all google products, to run web applications perfectly etc. It saves my login credentials which I do not need to remember. With In built translation feature I can access any website without the language barrier. In built print function helps to print out my important works and reports in no time. It helps me to connect with the company and family alltime.

  ### 5. Good browser for moderate users

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sabu S. | Technical Support Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 02, 2022

**What do you like best about Chrome Enterprise?**

I have been using chrome as my secondary browser. The thing I most like on google chrome is their password manager, it just amazing. And when coming to accounts side, mostly everybody will have a gmail account. So we can connect and sync with google chrome easily and can manage google related accounts.

**What do you dislike about Chrome Enterprise?**

Their UI is a bit outdated. No changes are deploying on the UI side for the newer versions too. And another major problem we are facing is the application gets stuck if we load a lot of tabs. But this issue is less faced on the Microsoft Edge browser.

**What problems is Chrome Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Google account is a necessary one for every person and very important for a quality analyst person like me. So, to test and verify the applications we build, a chrome browser is a must-needed. For regular browsing, which means with fewer tabs, I will be suggesting this one. Otherwise, Microsoft Edge will be my first choice.

  ### 6. Chrome is a powerful web browser.

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Julian A. | IT Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 27, 2023

**What do you like best about Chrome Enterprise?**

Chrome is a browser compatible with almost all the websites in the world. The integration between google search and Chrome browser is handy. The password manager is helpful too.

**What do you dislike about Chrome Enterprise?**

A lot of security breaches are discovered every week. The RAM consumption is enormous when you surf some websites.

**What problems is Chrome Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Web surfing is agreeable and fast, and the rendering motor "Blink" improves web surfing. I use the addons from my password manager and iCloud extension too.

  ### 7. Good for developers, bad for privacy

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dhruv B. | Software Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 20, 2022

**What do you like best about Chrome Enterprise?**

Having most of the world using the same browser engine is excellent from the perspective of a developer who now doesn't need to test any site or app they're building on all the different browsers and devices.

**What do you dislike about Chrome Enterprise?**

Giving Chrome, which is backed by Google, dominance over the internet is a massive hit on privacy. Since Google makes money by harvesting your data and selling ads, they have no incentive to focus on features that boost privacy. To some extent, a lot of Chromium-based derivatives are privacy-focused but Google Chrome surely isn't.

**What problems is Chrome Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Chrome also has excellent dev tools. Finally, so many exciting browsers can be built on top of the core engine, meaning there's now a browser that suits everyone.

  ### 8. WebP drove me to drop chrome.

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brent N. | Attorney

**Reviewed Date:** October 06, 2022

**What do you like best about Chrome Enterprise?**

most of web available unlike microsoft product

**What do you dislike about Chrome Enterprise?**

WebP.. i am leaving chrom because of webP. i can't download giffs any more. WebP is the worst.

**What problems is Chrome Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Not applicable , Chrom is causing problems because of web p.

  ### 9. I've been using chrome for many years to search as need

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Research | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 20, 2022

**What do you like best about Chrome Enterprise?**

search suggestions, quick search, bookmark URL's etc

**What do you dislike about Chrome Enterprise?**

When many tabs are open the browser is force to restart itself.

**What problems is Chrome Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is very helful to search everthing as needed

  ### 10. Chrome's biggest problem is puzzling...

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Francis O. | Software Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 15, 2022

**What do you like best about Chrome Enterprise?**

Chrome's extension support is massive and has easily one of the best-looking browser interfaces of all time. It is also one of the most customizable browsers that there are.

**What do you dislike about Chrome Enterprise?**

The extra processes that tend to run in the background when Chrome is up and running can be infuriating in all honesty. Running chrome puts so much pressure on the CPU

**What problems is Chrome Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a web developer, the chrome engine is really helpful in my day-to-day development processes. Also, it is one of the only browsers that support a really cool extension that I use to test my responsiveness.

  ### 11. If only it was more easy on system resources...

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hakan U. | Co-Founder & CEO of Motivacraft

**Reviewed Date:** July 13, 2022

**What do you like best about Chrome Enterprise?**

The huge number and variety of extensions make Chrome very versatile and capable.

**What do you dislike about Chrome Enterprise?**

It is a real RAM hog, especially on MacOS. I find it creating big and unnecessary pressure on system

**What problems is Chrome Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Direct connection to our CRM with an extension was very helpful. Also used another extension to create support directives.

  ### 12. A browser that needs serious updates

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anant B. | Microsoft Solutions Consultant, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 30, 2022

**What do you like best about Chrome Enterprise?**

There's nothing that I like about this browser, but I like the way its AI works. It shows target-specific advertisements and news. It is also fast as compared to other browsers and it has numerous extensions that other browsers lack.

**What do you dislike about Chrome Enterprise?**

There are several features that I dislike about this browser such as its Dark Mode which is white all the time, it shows too many advertisements, it tries to track users' activity all the time and thus not good for privacy.

**Recommendations to others considering Chrome Enterprise:**

I won't recommend anyone to use this browser unless there's no choice left.

**What problems is Chrome Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I was trying to use it for browsing through my client's websites and reading about the researches that are ging on in astronomy and information technology sector.

  ### 13. Solid but not amazing for business

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 30, 2021

**What do you like best about Chrome Enterprise?**

The best part about Chrome is how smoothly things run when you're not being too tough on your system's resources. There are so many compatible plugins to customize your setup that it is nearly overwhelming.

**What do you dislike about Chrome Enterprise?**

Resources, resources, resources.

I'm inefficient in terms of managing tabs when doing various parts of my job - especially research and scripting - and Chrome doesn't do so well once you get enough tabs open. Granted, having a high-enough end system will alleviate this.

**What problems is Chrome Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I mean...browsing the web. But more than that, you are able to customize your experience pretty heavily, which is extremely valuable for an SEO. Being able to scrape pages on the fly is priceless - but, again, its the plugins that allow that.

  ### 14. Google has made too many changes that are making it difficult to use

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lora B. | Owner CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 05, 2022

**What do you like best about Chrome Enterprise?**

I love that it is compatible with all the software we use

**What do you dislike about Chrome Enterprise?**

that as a VA i have to jump so many hoops now complicating my time management. I also hate that getting a real person on the phone is almost impossible

**What problems is Chrome Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use it as our business email as well as for podcasting and client work

  ### 15. Chrome for the win, but not maintenance free

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jennifer K. | Corporate Recruiter, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 30, 2021

**What do you like best about Chrome Enterprise?**

Seems user friendly and easy to navigate. Love that pw are saved.

**What do you dislike about Chrome Enterprise?**

Pw saves aren't idiot proof. Brower needs cleaning of cookies and cache to work best. Leaky data.

**What problems is Chrome Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Easy to save share and retrieve data as needed to work efficiently.

  ### 16. Normal Experience

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Saju S. | Not Working, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 31, 2021

**What do you like best about Chrome Enterprise?**

Speed, Secure, Fewer ads, more extensions

**What do you dislike about Chrome Enterprise?**

Privacy, Not Good for Mac computers,Once downloaded it took more memory space

**What problems is Chrome Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am looking at online searches, Online study Materials, Locations, and Pictures.

  ### 17. Fast, secure, but makes my Mac sound like an engine!

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Legal Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 02, 2021

**What do you like best about Chrome Enterprise?**

Like most Google products, it's fast, reliant, and super handy. I like and appreciate the vast amounts of extensions that make work and your browsing much more accessible.

**What do you dislike about Chrome Enterprise?**

Doesn't run the best on Apple products- makes the system really slow, and loud!

**What problems is Chrome Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Quick search engine, that houses all your information in one place. Reliant. (BTW, G2 is not allowing me to upload screenshots to prove I'm a current user)

  ### 18. Slow browser with too much ram consumption

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Paryush J. | Associate, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 15, 2021

**What do you like best about Chrome Enterprise?**

Chrome was used to be the default browser for years. But as newer browsers came they have left chrome far behind in terms of features, speed, and mostly ram utilization.

**What do you dislike about Chrome Enterprise?**

The worst thing about chrome is undoubtedly its ram consumption problem and freezing of tabs. Even Microsoft edge which is also developed on top of chromium works better and faster than chrome.

**What problems is Chrome Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My organization does not allow me to use any other browser. Hence I am using only using chrome for all the browsing purpose.

  ### 19. Chrome

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ray V. | Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 30, 2021

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Banking | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 03, 2019

**What do you like best about Chrome Enterprise?**

Compatible with many sites, advanced options

**What do you dislike about Chrome Enterprise?**

It’s got a resource intensive lifestyle that is well documented and causes so many problems/slow downs, especially on machines with limited resources and virtual environments.

**Recommendations to others considering Chrome Enterprise:**

Try and avoid it if speed and resources are at a premium. Otherwise enjoy.

**What problems is Chrome Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Compatible with our tools is the biggest reason we use it

  ### 21. Google Crome

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Real Estate | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 10, 2019

**What do you like best about Chrome Enterprise?**

Compatible with many other websites and browsers.

**What do you dislike about Chrome Enterprise?**

Sometimes the updates appear randomly and are a distraction.

**What problems is Chrome Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Super useful and comes with other entities.

  ### 22. It’s okay but gets pretty slow with time

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Education Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 13, 2019

**What do you like best about Chrome Enterprise?**

Easy to manage and quick to access bookmarked websites.

**What do you dislike about Chrome Enterprise?**

Some of the extensions disable on their own or simply don’t work. When watching videos, other open tabs run slow

**Recommendations to others considering Chrome Enterprise:**

Faster connections

**What problems is Chrome Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Web browsing

  ### 23. Websites run best in Chrome, but your computer will feel it

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nathan W. | Survey Programmer, Market Research, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 28, 2017

**What do you like best about Chrome Enterprise?**

As a web developer, I love Chrome. It is the one broswer you really don't have to worry about. They are always up to date on the latest and greatest standards.

**What do you dislike about Chrome Enterprise?**

While Chrome usually runs fast, it really bogs down your system. They also seem content with being on top, and haven't really innovated much over the last few years. I find myself using Edge on Windows 10 just as much as I use Chrome.

**What problems is Chrome Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

When possible (internal tools), I try to encourage people to use chrome because it works best. One of our automated tests has to run in Chrome because it has enough horsepower to run what we need.

  ### 24. Chrome - When You Can't Use Firefox

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Printing | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 20, 2017

**What do you like best about Chrome Enterprise?**

Sometimes there are websites that for some inexplicable reason have been designed to only work on chrome. That seems shortsighted, but since I can't contact every single webmaster and demand they correct it , hopping on chrome solves that problem. It's also useful to have a second browser if you have two sets of things you'd like to browse at the same time, but don't want having multiple instances of firefox confusing you. Or if you want to have separate sets of browsing history. Basically, I like to have a back-up browser.

**What do you dislike about Chrome Enterprise?**

I hate the way chrome deals with downloading files. Maybe there's a way to change it, but the default is for each file you download to pile up at the bottom of the screen and if you want to find the file and move it somewhere else you have to click the file sitting there and manually move it. There's no "save as" option that pops up like in firefox and if there's a way to produce one, I haven't figured it out. As always, the biggest problem with any google product is that there's no one to contact to solve the problem.

**Recommendations to others considering Chrome Enterprise:**

If it works for you, great. If not, there's really no reason not to use your preferred browser.

**What problems is Chrome Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Well, it's your basic web browser. The main benefit is that you can browse the web. I guess one problem that it solves for our business is the ease of sharing documents and sheets and what-not. Although you can really do that through gmail on any browser, so I suppose that's not a big get.

  ### 25. Good for developing

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Johan W. | Webdeveloper/ Graphic designer, Media Production, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 01, 2017

**What do you like best about Chrome Enterprise?**

I like the many plugins make web development smooth and easy and the responsive previews. And of cause the web inspector and java script debugging tools.

**What do you dislike about Chrome Enterprise?**

I dislike it is a google browser and I suspect they are logging everything I do to sell ads.

**Recommendations to others considering Chrome Enterprise:**

Don't log in and go through the settings to keep your data private.

**What problems is Chrome Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The issue with multi browser testing and device testing in web development.

  ### 26. Chrome

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rachael C. | Research Administrator, Higher Education, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 13, 2017

**What do you like best about Chrome Enterprise?**

Chrome saves google passwords/info so it's easy to log into google accounts you may use like gmail, googledrive, etc.

**What do you dislike about Chrome Enterprise?**

A lot of programs I try to run on chrome simply wont work. I have to use internet explorer to run these instead

**What problems is Chrome Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Chrome is used to access proposal submission systems and to access email

  ### 27. Not my preferred browser, but sometimes it's the only one that works

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lauren W. | Graphic Web Specialist, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 15, 2016

**What do you like best about Chrome Enterprise?**

Google Chrome is the only browser that allows me to go over my benefits for open enrollment. Firefox, Opera and Internet Explorer have trouble with the certain HR Intouch site we use.

I also like the click to call plugin for Chrome. Other browsers do not have one as good.

**What do you dislike about Chrome Enterprise?**

I dislike its lack of support. We use Blackboard Collaborate at work and cannot log in to web meetings in BBC using Chrome. I definitely have seen Chrome have issues with sites that Firefox can handle well.

**Recommendations to others considering Chrome Enterprise:**

It is free so you really can't go wrong in trying it. Just note that Chrome is not going to be compatible with many websites. You may have trouble attending a Blackboard Collaborate meeting using the chrome browser. However, it does have a lot of cool plugins.

**What problems is Chrome Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are solving the issue of not being able to log into open enrollment by using Chrome, which is great. Other than that though, I use Firefox for everything.

  ### 28. Fast, but unituitive

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Medical Devices | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 22, 2016

**What do you like best about Chrome Enterprise?**

I like the ability to add features to the platform. I also like the speed.

**What do you dislike about Chrome Enterprise?**

The interface is not intuitive. A beginning user will have to dig for answers on how to use the thing.

**Recommendations to others considering Chrome Enterprise:**

Give it a try, you might like it as an alternative to IE.

**What problems is Chrome Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Using this browser over another will not have a significant impact on business function.

  ### 29. Not For Me

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Christopher E.

**Reviewed Date:** April 30, 2013

**What do you like best about Chrome Enterprise?**

Faster loading times, easy to develop apps/add-ons for this product

**What do you dislike about Chrome Enterprise?**

Major compatibility issues, not as user-friendly as Firefox, could work better with Apple products

**Recommendations to others considering Chrome Enterprise:**

Give it a try. Personally, I prefer Firefox due to better compatibility but between Firefox and Chrome, it´s probably a matter of taste. Just avoid Safari and Internet Explorer if you can !

  ### 30. It's alright - but not all that it's cracked up to be.

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jaken H. | Web Developer, Higher Education, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 19, 2013

**What do you like best about Chrome Enterprise?**

I like that Google Chrome has an "app store", and that you can have themes/great plugins on your web browser.

**What do you dislike about Chrome Enterprise?**

There are so many bugs and glitches with this browser, that I had to switch back to Apple's Safari.

**Recommendations to others considering Chrome Enterprise:**

If you're doing lightweight reading, and not much else, this may be the right browser for you.

  ### 31. It crashes when too many tabs are open

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Celeste B.

**Reviewed Date:** July 31, 2013

**What do you like best about Chrome Enterprise?**

I like it more than all the other browsers. I mostly like how good it looks and easy it is to use.

**What do you dislike about Chrome Enterprise?**

I don't like how slow it goes sometimes, when I have a lot of tabs open.

**Recommendations to others considering Chrome Enterprise:**

Just don't open too many tabs.

  ### 32. Hard to use and annoying to update

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Susan K. | Head of People & Culture, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 08, 2013

**What do you like best about Chrome Enterprise?**

I like the logo but otherwise don't really see any redeeming factors - might as well be adware as far as I can see

**What do you dislike about Chrome Enterprise?**

Found it difficult to use and definitely slowed down my operating system. I do not enjoy it so won't use it again.

**Recommendations to others considering Chrome Enterprise:**

Depends on your system and preference but I wasn't impressed
