Quickbooks Desktop and Autotask Custom Integration **Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer & Network Security | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.) **Reviewed Date:** August 19, 2025 **What do you like best about Chetu?** I would not recommend Chetu based on my experience. **What do you dislike about Chetu?** Our concerns were not addressed when we brought them up, and we repeatedly asked to speak with upper management and were denied. **Recommendations to others considering Chetu:** I would not recommend using Chetu for any project based on my experience. **What problems is Chetu solving and how is that benefiting you?** We hired Chetu for an Autotask/QuickBooks integration and had a very poor experience. The project was sold as a ~500-hour effort, but after more than 1000 hours it was still unfinished, and costs more than doubled the original estimate. The solution delivered was outdated, expensive to maintain, and built with little regard for scalability or cost efficiency. Their team also showed a lack of QuickBooks knowledge, which caused repeated delays. Every weekly meeting we were shown "progress," but the demos never worked as expected, or at all. When we tried to escalate concerns, our requests were ignored until we finally spoke with an Operations Director, Jaideep Sharma, who was dismissive and unprofessional. Overall, we were left with an overpriced, incomplete, and impractical solution. We strongly advise others to be cautious before engaging Chetu. ### 2. Worst development experience of my career **Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consulting | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.) **Reviewed Date:** February 25, 2025 **What do you like best about Chetu?** They have a great sales team, which actually believes the devs know what they are doing. **What do you dislike about Chetu?** Obviously my pro was satire, there is nothing to like about Chetu. **What problems is Chetu solving and how is that benefiting you?** Chetu is a complete scam. After retaining them for some software dev, they promised to have engineers that know the particular stack. Their agreements are written to bad reviews cannot be written, so i will omit details here as I do not want to get my legal team involved. For context, we have our own in house dev team of 30+ engineers, however this particular product, we decided to outsource, would i have known that the developers that chetu provided were incompetent and did not know the product at all, we would have rather had our devs learn and build(which is what they are doing now anyway). After chetu did the roll off and provided the code, NON FUNCTIONING after paying them for 13 months, i finally cancelled with them. The code we received was utter garbage written by a junior dev when i was promised senior devs. The code was all over the place and my Dev lead said this was the worst code he has seen. Steer clear away from these guys. They are not cheap at all. Also they promise state side PM and dev; all lies, it was all outsourced to India. ### 3. Worst experience **Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.) **Reviewed Date:** May 11, 2022 **Describe the project or task Chetu helped with:** they were hired to develop a cell phone application. **What do you like best about Chetu?** They were a complete rip-off and I would never recommend them. My code is useless and they refuse to fix it. Update: Chetu has illegally threatened to sue over this review. They illegally put a clause in their contracts that states: "Neither party shall threaten the other party or make, post, publish or communicate to any person or entity or in any public forum any comments or statements (written or oral) that intentionally seek to denigrate or disparage, or are detrimental to, the reputation or stature of the other party or its businesses, or any of its employees, directors and officers and existing and prospective customers, suppliers, investors and other associated third parties." Chetu will aggressively threaten to sue you based on this clause, however, this clause is in direct violation of the Consumer Review Fairness Act. The Consumer Review Fairness Act voids any contract that contains a clause that bars or restricts the ability of a person who is a party to that contract to review a company’s products, services, or conduct. The Consumer Review Fairness Act makes it illegal for companies to include standardized provisions that threaten or penalize people for posting honest reviews. Any use, share, or modification of any such IP, in whole or in part or of its derivative(s), by the company or any of its agents, including you and others individually, shall be a violation of our IP rights and the legal contract. The definition of IP is in the contract, and is not merely limited to source code but also includes knowledge and know-how encapsulated in documents, emails and other communication." Consumer Review Fairness Act also voids a contract if the contract "transfers or requires an individual who is a party to the form contract to transfer to any person any intellectual property rights in review or feedback content." Congress gave enforcement authority to the Federal Trade Commission and the state Attorneys General. The law specifies that a violation of the CRFA will be treated the same as violating an FTC rule defining an unfair or deceptive act or practice. This means that your company could be subject to financial penalties, as well as a federal court order. You can file a complaint with the FTC by calling 1-877-FTC-HELP (382-4357). **What do you dislike about Chetu?** Customer support and quality of the product **Recommendations to others considering Chetu:** Do your research and look at the Broward County court records to see how many companies Chetu has sued. **What problems is Chetu solving and how is that benefiting you?** None ### 4. Outsourcing failure **Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.) **Reviewed Date:** June 20, 2022 **What do you like best about Chetu?** stopping working with Chetu, we found their unwillingness to correct the work they were doing so that it conformed to the rest of our software suite impossible to deal with. **What do you dislike about Chetu?** They provided incompetent staff, who after being given clear instructions and plenty of support failed to deliver any workable code after more than 4 weeks, we have worked with many outsourcing companies and Chetu stands out as being the ones that failed to deliver anything. **Recommendations to others considering Chetu:** Don't subcontract work to this company. **What problems is Chetu solving and how is that benefiting you?** We hoped that Chetu would be able to provide a software developers to augment our internal team. ### 5. They did not deliver good work, were consistently repeating fixes while on the clock, and I very much regret working with them. **What do you dislike about Chetu?** If you do nothing else, go to Google, type in Broward County Clerks office and put company name Chetu. 181 small businesses have been sued by Chetu when they tried to pull the plug on the relationship. If you were thinking of getting married to someone and found out they had been divorced 181 times, you MIGHT want to rethink it! So long story short is our company wanted an app built and we Googled some companies and Chetu made a good sales pitch. Right off the bat I should have noticed some things. Our sales guy in Florida told us our team was a mix of North American and Indian workers. I asked for a North American point of contact as I have had some communications difficulties working with Indian companies many years ago. He guaranteed me that was no problem. Turns out my case manager was someone who moved to Florida from India recently, and was very hard to understand. 100% of my actual team that was doing the work was in India. Without writing a book, I would summarize that the work was not horrible but not great. It was a lot of 'oh, I didn't know that's what you meant. We will work on that, but in the meantime here is another invoice'. After a few months of this I told the sales guy I was concerned that the quality of the work was not great, to which he said 'we never promise that you will be happy with the work. You have to pay for their time whether they do good work or not.' As I reviewed the contract, he was telling the truth. When I told him I would not pay the last invoice since it was for a set of tasks that had already been included several times on previous reports, he told me they would sue me if I didn't. I told him I would pay the invoices when they got it right, and that if some guy came to my house to fix a pipe and I had already paid him three times for it, by the fourth time he should make sure it works. I was told thats not how they worked. I held out on principle and sure enough, they did sue me. I went to the Broward County Clerks page and saw they have sued over 181 people in the last 5 years for not paying some invoices. So ask yourself, is there a wide ranging conspiracy to hire them to do work, pay several months of invoices, then suddenly not pay; or is the fact that over 181 companies decided to quit paying them an indication that they don't do great work. Its in the lawyers hands now, just like happened to all the other companies listed there. After looking on here, Chetu will come on here and argue and threaten to sue for defamation etc....so don't take my word for it. Go look at the long list of lawsuits and decide for yourself. Also note they sue anyone who posts online that they did not like working with them, so I am doing it no name but go look at the court cases. Its the one place they can't pay people to go post incredibly positive reviews...@G2 team I would be more than willing to corroborate all of this but again don't want anymore legal problems with these people. **Recommendations to others considering Chetu:** Go check public records. They have left a trail of small companies dead or dying. I did hear from an ex Chetu person that they tend to do a decent job with the whale size clients, so it might be better for you than it was for us 181 small companies who got sued on top of not getting good products. **What problems is Chetu solving and how is that benefiting you?** They did solve one problem. We had to close the company due to their lawsuit so I have a lot of time to play cards. ### 6. The customer service is nonexistent and the CEO is extremely rude. The only conversation they will have with you is when will they get their money. Remember that you are paying for time which includes their mistakes which were many. Oh, they have themselves covered in the contract, so be very careful. they list their services as a consultation that they hold NO liability for. I ended up spending $100k on a system that did not work and had so many glitches. They even tried to get me to pay for the errors and sent me the files with the wrong access codes. I could not even get in my own software. Had to hire a professional to hack into it. I got the same amount of work done (higher quality) in a 16th of the time and a 16th of the cost. The worst was how the CEO and his team (by order), handle the situation as if I was in the flea market spending $10. I was so stressed thinking I had lost everything. NEVER AGAIN! **What do you like best about Chetu?** The Project manager communicated well and provided a clear work timesheet unfortunately that the didn't stick to **What do you dislike about Chetu?** Everything else, CEO kept threatening to take my money and software when I started questioning the project and cost. I started to ask for an extension because we had gone $60k over budget but all he was interested in was being paid right away. no one else was allowed to communicate with me until that was done. **Recommendations to others considering Chetu:** Don't do it! I lost over $60K making this mistake.
