After a Salesforce implementation there was a need to implement MAP and it was decided to go with Pardot. After a parallel implementation with a Pardot partner it was decided that the project should be placed on hold and a restart with another partner. What do you like best?

Cheshire Impact is a company that understands the intricacies of how Pardot integrates with Salesforce. They provide consultants who are hands on and are technically qualified to do the work. They come up to speed very quickly on how a company wants to run their MAP and offers guidance and recommendations when that vision is not technically correct. What do you dislike?

The only thing that I dislike would be the fact that they are not employed by us. We would hire their consultants if the chance came up. Really smart and qualified team players. Nothing bad to say here. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering the provider:

Our company migrated from a Marketo to Pardot Marketing Automation Instance. Our Salesforce Account Representative recommended that we work with Cheshire Impact to help manage the implementation.

The implementation was not 'simple'' or 'straightforward' in that our organization has multiple brands and utilizes a large number of custom Salesforce objects. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

Cheshire Impact took the time figure out exactly what we would need to in order to make our migration successful and tailored our engagement to fit accordingly. We have a Pardot expert on-staff, so we were able to skip a lot of the basic-level implementation work and utilize Cheshire for their more advanced technical knowledge. What do you dislike?

The Cheshire representative who was managing our account needed to be re-focused throughout the project. We also gave guidance regarding time management on meetings in order to make our time with the rep as productive as possible. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the provider? What benefits have you realized?

We worked with Cheshire to help us do our initial Pardot implementation. We were very impressed by her knowledge and commitment to helping us get the right start. She really leaned into our questions and helped us understand the implications of our particular use cases. What do you like best?

Our consultant was knowledgeable and really took steps to help us throughout the process. Our team is scattered over 16 time zones so she actually made screen cap videos to help our teams in all regions set things up right. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

As with any consultancy, make sure you understand exactly what you are buying. They work to the specifics of an agreement. That's appropriate, but just understand exactly what you are buying. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

They were our implementation partner for our Pardot install. It was all very basic level education - we had used other marketing automation platforms before so we were familiar with concepts and abilities. I'd say 85-90% was things we either knew, or would have quickly figured out while only the remaining 10-15% was useful and new training. We didn't get to customize what we'd learn, it was all pre-set, session by session. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

What do you dislike?

Rigid training that wasn't useful. A conversation on what we're comfortable with already would have been great to have before we were mapped out. This wasn't our first CMS and a lot of time was wasted on elementary sessions and very little digging into the more robust features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Spell out your specific goals with your implementation. If you have experience with similar software, make sure they understand that up front and you need more of a deeper dive once the initial setup is complete. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

Not much. I had to fix most everything that the agency did, including email templates that had garbage code in them, migrate all the assets (migration workbook, hah), do all the QA and spam testing (they claimed they were doing it, too, but I found errors after they were given to me), and then try to implement the Lead to Revenue framework with no directions. We wanted to migrate to Pardot, and they sold us the visio and service hours instead of the full migration support. The bulk of the migration work fell to me to manage or fix. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
