What I like most about Cheqbook is how simple and practical it is for managing day-to-day finances, especially in an education management setup like ours at IMI Delhi. The interface is straightforward and easy to navigate, so even team members without a finance background can start using it comfortably with minimal training. A feature that really stands out is the automatic categorization of transactions. It saves a lot of time, reduces manual effort, and has made it much easier to track expenses across different departments in a more organized way. The reporting tools are also very useful when reviewing monthly spending or preparing for internal checks, since everything is clearly structured and easy to access when needed. In terms of performance, it runs smoothly for regular use and doesn’t feel heavy or overly complicated. From a pricing perspective, it also offers good value given the time it saves and the visibility it provides into our financial data. What do you dislike about Cheqbook? One area I think Cheqbook could improve is its integration with other tools. In an office setup like ours, we rely on multiple platforms, so more seamless integrations would make our workflow smoother and cut down on the need for manual workarounds. The user interface is straightforward, but it can feel a bit basic at times. A more modern look, along with a little more customization, would improve the overall experience—especially when working with larger datasets or generating reports. There are also some limitations around flexibility, such as managing or modifying certain entries, which can feel restrictive in specific situations. Having more control over these actions would make the platform easier to use. What problems is Cheqbook solving and how is that benefiting you? Before using Cheqbook, we struggled to manage and track expenses across different departments because so much of it was manual or scattered across multiple files. Organizing records and pulling together reports when needed took a lot of time and effort. With Cheqbook, we can now track all financial transactions in one place, which has made the process far more structured and transparent. The automatic categorization and reporting features have significantly reduced the time we spend on manual bookkeeping. As a result, we save a good amount of time—especially during monthly reviews and internal checks—and our records are more accurate overall. It’s also easier for the team to stay up to date on budgets and spending without relying too heavily on one person.
