What do you like best about Checkr?

I appreciate Checkr for its seamless integration with our church enterprise resource software, the Planning Center, which greatly simplifies our workflow. The setup process was incredibly straightforward, allowing us to quickly establish our account and have it functioning effectively without any hassle. One of the key attractions for me is how Checkr contributes significantly to managing risks associated with ministry work involving children. Given the responsibilities and liabilities involved in such work, Checkr ensures that all individuals, whether in official or volunteer capacities, have clear background checks. This not only guarantees safety but also provides reassurance for me and protects our organization from potential legal issues. Additionally, I find the pricing structure of Checkr to be quite affordable, especially for the basic background check services, which is an important factor considering our non-profit setting. I also value the system's efficiency in delivering quick results, facilitating timely decision-making and role assignments. I really like how Checkr integrates with our applicant tracking system, making it super easy to request background checks. It takes me less than 30 seconds to initiate a background check, and then the applicant gets a notification to enter their personal information, which saves me from added administrative work. Turnaround times can sometimes be slow, and customer service sucks. No dedicated customer success manager if you don't spend a certain amount of money, and you are forced to chat with an AI bot. When I've actually spoken to their human customer support team, they haven't been much more helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
