I like CheckPoint's layered threat prevention architecture, which brings together firewall, IPS, Anti-Bot, Anti-Virus, and sandboxing into one unified security framework as blade systems. I also appreciate the detailed logging and smart event reporting capabilities that offer strong visibility into traffic patterns, threat activity, and compliance posture, making audits and incident investigations more structured and data-driven. The logging and event correlation capabilities significantly improve our incident response workflow, allowing us to trace suspicious IP activity, identify blocked versus allowed traffic patterns, and analyze IPS triggers and malware signatures. Most of the time, if the customer uploads password-protected bank statements over our portal, CheckPoint's sandboxing doesn't work and passes them. There are limitations with CheckPoint's VPN client, as it is not supported in Linux environments. We had to use TAC support because the CheckPoint knowledge base guidelines are not user-friendly for first-time users.
