What do you like best about Checkmk?

The easy usability. We have the Managed Service Version and monitor over 60 customer infrastructures with labels. This is a simple way to manage CheckMK. The exchange has a lot of plugins which provide more detailed information about the monitored infrastructure. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Checkmk?

The update interval which kills checks via mkps. Fixing this requires a lot of time. On update, it kills views/reports that we needed for our customers of our sales team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Checkmk?

Checkmk in it's basic form is a easy to use and powerful tool to Monitor Network devices as well as windows and Linux systems. For many popular products like VMware, Databases and others it offers a quick and easy method to Monitor those things. If extraordinary or special use cases are required it can get pretty complex and is not that easy anymore but with enough IT know how it is manageable but needs in fact time. I wouldn't say it's the perfect solution but a out of the box a pretty solid one and can be extended by your specific needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Checkmk?

The installation is very easy. The Basic configuration is possible to create within an hour of work. CheckMK is usable for very small Environments (up to 10 hosts) but is usable in very very large Env. up to 10k Hosts Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
