The automation saves heaps of admin time, while the platform itself is intuitive and easy to use. The candidate experience is smooth too – clear instructions and good communication keep things moving without unnecessary back-and-forth. On top of that, the support team is responsive and genuinely helpful, which makes implementation and day-to-day use a lot easier. **What do you dislike about Checkmate?** The reporting functionality could be a bit more detailed/customisable, especially for businesses that want deeper insights or to tailor compliance outputs. Occasionally there can be minor delays when external verifications depend on third parties, but that’s not unique to Checkmate – it’s just the nature of background checks. They do an excellent job of putting resource behind their product to ensure their are not delays in checks due to user or document upload error's rather than waiting for issues to be raised. Our client manager was extremely knowledgable about New Zealand compliance and recruitment including future legislation changes e.t.c **What do you dislike about Checkmate?** Could use a little more self-help options for online management **What problems is Checkmate solving and how is that benefiting you?** Reference checking, License checking, Criminal history checking. Turn-around time on all of these pre-employment requirements ### 3. I would recommend it to my colleagues and I enjoy using it. **What do you dislike about Checkmate?** I would suggest to add the feature, filter by me and be able to stay on the filter even if I refresh the page.. **What problems is Checkmate solving and how is that benefiting you?** The reference check would highlight if there is any gap between the employee and the employer data provided. Which is a good reference. At the end of the daty if someone is lying, it may show and it may not.
