**What do you like best about Checkit?**

all the info is online ,everything is digital ,past recoreds can be relooked if neeeded,alerts are sent via email if any delay in the cheks or drop in temperature of the fridges or freezers,it keeps you on top of your dailt work task not only boh but even host,runners .

**What do you dislike about Checkit?**

it can be time consuming if you have added to many dishes to take the temperature.the probe should come with a cover to secure the metal part from corss contimination,also the handle part sometimes can be a bit fragile .

**Recommendations to others considering Checkit:**

Good system to have in your orginasation to keep the food and safety of the food .It also schedules your dailt and weekly work for front of the house,back of the house its and smart app to keep your business health and safety in check ,also this app is certified by amny auditors

**What problems is Checkit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

most importantly the issue of food saftey ,cooking temperatcure chilling temperature, hot holding tempeature and receiving of delivery,it also helps in kp work scheduling,deep cleaning scheduling.

**What do you like best about Checkit?**

I love how simple the software is to use. Very easy to navigate through the dashboard also. For me, as a head chef, it has made my life a LOT easier.

**What do you dislike about Checkit?**

It needs a louder alarm on the memos. I can't hear the alert on the loudest setting in the kitchen.

**Recommendations to others considering Checkit:**

I think if you work in the catering industry, operating any multi-site business, or even smaller food businesses, then check-it is a win-win, everything you need in one place. I couldn't imagine going back to paperwork and having folders stacked up everywhere.

**What problems is Checkit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With the ability to monitor fridge/freezer temperature levels, you can almost foresee an equipment failure, which is super important. Also, all HACCP duties are recorded and stored online, which creates a comprehensive audit trail,

  ### 4. Clear and simple interface. Could use some extra features.

**What do you like best about Checkit?**

Very clear. Can easily see what's alerting. System works and has saved stock on several occasions.

**What do you dislike about Checkit?**

It would be more helpful if we could make adjustments to our sensor configurations on the system. We often move and repurpose freezers as part of our regular operations, and this can lead to sensors alarming or going offline and remaining in that state. It would be helpful if we could:

- Move sensors between hubs. I know how to swap one sensor for another but not move a specific sensor from one hub to another.
- Move sensors between locations to be viewed with other sensors in the locations we want.
- Remove sensors from our system that might be damaged or have gone missing.
- Be able to deactivate rules or alerts even if a sensor is alarming on one of them. It can be problematic if a sensor has been moved away intentionally and we have to put it back in a fridge or freezer before we can stop it alerting. Happy to have an "are you sure you wish to deactivate this alert" if the device is in an alerted state, but I would appreciate the option.
- Have a way of "fire testing" our alert system. It has been raised by our QA department that if there was a problem with one of our sensors, we might not necessarily know about it. It was suggested that we intentionally trigger alerts on a regular basis without actually changing temperatures (like a fire alarm test). Not sure if we can do this at the moment however.
- Have an account manager who could be our main point of contact when we need assistance. Sometimes have found submitting help tickets can take a lot of time before results.

**What problems is Checkit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We've needed help at times with getting our sensors set up or swapped etc. Sensors going offline have been explained by visiting engineers and they've always been very informative. It has helped us to become more autonomous and avoid problems before they start.

**What do you like best about Checkit?**

Very easy to use and manage, accurate and consistant. Ticks every box. Even if wifi drops or powercut you can still carry on and use it.

**What do you dislike about Checkit?**

We have use the product for 3 years and is starting to show some little cracks around the screen which will need to be replaced. The only other thing which is not about the product per say is management fear of a system like this in regards to not having a wall full of paper

**What problems is Checkit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Paperless recording is the way forward, we have had very little issues with the system. EHO have been really impressed with the ststem

The thermometers so delivery's and cooked food

The tech needs to use 5G tech incase Wi-fi goes down 
You should be able to change the product your probing with the thermometers rather than the tablet
The tablet should have face recognition 
The back office needs to be user friendly 
It's a nightmare trying to get hold of anyone to deal with tech issues

Different offices or location under one accunts so sharing common duties, etc.. not ideal

**Recommendations to others considering Checkit:**

Highly recommended but take the necessary time to implement correctly and run a paper version of HACCP for the first month to give time to iron initial teething issues

Temperature fridge monitoring, delivery check in monitoring, cooking / chilling temperature monitoring, cleaning duties

The blue tooth probe needs to be more robust, and you don't know if the probe battery is flat.

**What do you like best about Checkit?**

Check it is a reliable and easy way to control all of your temperature-sensitive appliances.  All temperatures are in one place and easily visible.  Check it provides you with handy equipment,  like Probes which help your food to be served at the correct temp,  either hot or cold. The Memo tells you what daily checks need to be carried out, and by what time they need to be checked—a straightforward system.

**What do you dislike about Checkit?**

Not too much to complain about with check it. They will replace any check it equipment that has stopped working once they have given you tips and advice on getting the item rebooted or working again—excellent service.

**What problems is Checkit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Benefits of having check it is all food is safe to eat.

Easy to use, much for efficient, looks more professional when we have our health inspection. 

It also prevents staff forgetting and forging fridge checks later on.

Not being able to edit what you've entered.

The removal of paper records is our favorite feature - we operate in a forest so it is nice to know we are more sustainable from using automated monitoring.

**What do you dislike about Checkit?**

Sometimes - (as with most things tech based) there are technical issues that impact our operations.

**What problems is Checkit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We used to complete 3 manual temperature checks a day in every unit - this was very time-consuming.

It prompts users when checks are due. It has the required temperature ranges already installed and an easy colour system to let the user know whether the item being checked is at the correct emperature or not.

The probes and handset can be temperamental and sometimes do not communicate with each other.

Conducting regular temperature checks for cooking/reheating/hot holding and cold holding. Weekly probe calibration and manager's audit. Daily manager checks.
