I can now process either 5 checks or 500 checks in less than 5 minutes. I had been spending hours stuffing envelopes, chasing down returned checks when someone moves, and re-issuing checks lost in the mail. Their support team is pretty awesome. Their system is able to process hundreds of checks via spreadsheet in a matter of seconds. Nice to give the recipient multiple options (direct deposit, mobile deposit, physical check) for how they would like to be paid. Especially appreciate that we no longer have to worry about outdated mailing addresses, as address entry falls solely on the recipient. If you process 400 checks and 1 check has an error with an e-mail address, none of the checks will go through and you will need to speak to someone at Checkbook to figure out which line item is causing the error. Luckily, our Account Manager is incredibly quick about getting us answers. It would be nice if the one faulty check did not hold up the other 399 checks, though. Wish their modification for Canadian recipients had been rolled out when projected, as the delay has created a lot of extra work on our end. Some of our recipients are not as hip to technology and even though I like the system, I do not have a quick fix for someone requesting to "just send me a check". Checkbook does exactly what I want and need it to do. It sends payments to our vendors easily and quickly without needing the recipients bank info or without mailing a check.
