It supports ssl sites and non-standard ports to analyze the URL traffic. It has regex support. Checkpoint has an OEM agreement with 3rd party provider. Updates are not timely. Local sites can not be analyzed properly. You need to use inline layers for proper security otherwise, you can not lock the rule base. External list integration is problematic only R81 and higher supports gui based external lists. No local isolation support for web traffic. **Recommendations to others considering Check Point URL Filtering:** Use the latest firewall software to enable it.
