"Reliable and Easy to Administer, but Feels Legacy Next to Zero Trust"
3.5/5

It would be considered a legacy remote access solution compared to current zero trust solutions in the market. The requirement to start and login to a separate client is an extra step for a user. "Check Point's IPSec VPN supports reliable connectivity with strong security features"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Check Point Remote Access VPN?

We must need to use IPSec Site-to-Site VPN for our data security, reliability, integrity and traffic security. Check Point's IPSec VPN solution provides secure connectivity for remote users, branches offices and head offices local networks, like core banking systems located in datacenters. Check Point's solution supports too many features for our site-to-site traffic security. It uses AES to protect our data from unauthorized persons. Its strongest advantage over other vendors is that Check Point supports "centralized management" to control our remote access and Site-to-Site VPNs. It can integrate with our existing authentication infrastructure like LDAP and Radius servers to get strongest security ratings. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Check Point Remote Access VPN?

Although it is a powerful, reliable and secured Site-to-Site VPN solution for every organization, nothing can continue without its challenges. Initial setup and configuration are more complex compared to other vendors, like Cisco, Fortinet and PaloAlto for implementation engineer. Check Point is generally considered a premium solution, so that, small businesses may not effort to use Check Point products. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
