Redundancy is fine with other "local" forewalls that are managed with the same SMS however my organization has multiple SMS's and in the even that one ISP goes out at a remote site, all of the other sites managed by the same SMS will negotiate on the backup IP however sites managed by a different SMS require a manual change to restore S2S connectivity.
