"Robust Layered Security, Needs SSL/TLS Inspection Improvement"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Check Point Next Generation Firewalls (NGFWs)?

I feel like Check Point Next Generation Firewalls (NGFWs)' different kinds of filters fill security gaps where cloud solutions can't address all scenarios. From a network perspective, it effectively stops obvious threats like malicious ranges and bogon IPs. The Layer 7 filtering is especially effective. Also, the initial deployment of the firewalls was easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Check Point Next Generation Firewalls (NGFWs)?

I have some issues with SSL/TLS inspection because it breaks some of my apps, and there are legal/privacy concerns. Also, application identification sometimes misclassifies new apps. Initial deployment was easy, but configuring policies and advanced filters took a lot of time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
