I like that users don't feel a performance hit, the access policies are clear and consistent, and everything is managed from one console without too much effort.

**What do you dislike about Check Point SASE?**

I think the planning phase took some time - my team and I needed to plan the setup carefully, and the solution could offer more guidance during that stage. Advanced policies need careful tuning, and troubleshooting can require deeper knowledge at times.

**What problems is Check Point SASE solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps us solving the challenge of securely connecting users from anywhere without slowing them down. The benefit for us is better performance, simpler access management, and consistent security for remote and hybrid users.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

  ### 30. Good product, frustrating support

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 17, 2024

**What do you like best about Check Point SASE?**

I have liked most things about the product. Very intuitive for end users is probably the most important. Only one outtage in 2+ years, if I recall correctly.

**What do you dislike about Check Point SASE?**

It is frustratingly difficult to get a 30 minute technical support session. I haven't bothered them for anything in 2+ years of having the product (and many thousands of dollars spent with them) and I'm forced to waste 4 hours my time on something which would take their technical support team 30 minutes. Obviously many SaaS companies try to do the same thing and make it difficult to get in-person help, but I guess the price they pay is people like myself leaving frustrated and sub-par reviews. It's a shame because I really like the product otherwise.

It probably would have helped to have a more in-depth implementation session when starting out, since there were some key settings which we only learned about after having the product for multiple years.

**What problems is Check Point SASE solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Perimeter 81 allows us to access secure organizational resources.

**What do you dislike about Check Point SASE?**

Inline CASB solution; DLP funcionalities (OCR vs dictionaries) ; integration with IOS or Android.

**What problems is Check Point SASE solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Check Point secures user navigation without proxy on prem solution.

  ### 32. My experience at work with Perimeter 81

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ayrton V. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 28, 2023

**What do you like best about Check Point SASE?**

It's reliable and always helpful to work with. I haven't had many issues other than waiting for it to connect, but it mostly depends on your Internet connection. So far so good.

**What do you dislike about Check Point SASE?**

At first, I didn't like the fact I couldn't connect/disconnect whenever I wanted until I found out the option "Always-on VPN" existed in Settings. So, now that's off & I couldn't be happier.

**What problems is Check Point SASE solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I believe they're improving their networks or adding more servers and it's honestly noticeable when working and using webs. They load a kind of faster than they used to.

  ### 33. The best!

**What do you dislike about Check Point SASE?**

Helps secure our data and and keep us safe from any cyber attack

  ### 34. Pathetic support - the worst I've ever come across...

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Thavashan N. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 11, 2023

**What do you like best about Check Point SASE?**

Still trying to figure this one out as there are many out there who can do the same for less.

**What do you dislike about Check Point SASE?**

As an MSP we require speedy assistance to ensure our customers stay ahead of issues. 4 months ago I tasked my partner team to reach out to P81 support and have our account downgraded to the basic tier we've been met with nothin short of a PATHETIC support.

Eventually I took over the situation thinking maybe my team might have been approaching things incorrectly, but to my utter amazement we really seem to be dealing with a platform which has a "I just don't care" attitude.

I have sent over 15 emails (excluding all the correspondnece others in my organisatin had sent), I have been escalated ti the highest key idividuals and yet even they don't respond.

Is this even a real company?
4 months on and we're no close to having this super easy task resolved - I can't believe it. Forget the time we've wasted on this issue, but also on top of this it's the unnessary overbilling for a product which we do not require - so far totalling $200 and counting.

DON'T SIGN UP WITH P81!

**What problems is Check Point SASE solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Whatever problems they say they are resolving is being done by others - P81 just don't know how to support their own customer base correctly

  ### 35. Convenient and easy to use tool.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tay A. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 02, 2024

**What do you like best about Check Point SASE?**

I like that you only have to connect once you start a session in your computer and you don't have to do anything else, the remote working sesion starts running whithout noticing anything different than when you are directly conencted to the server.

**What do you dislike about Check Point SASE?**

Sometimes it doesn't connect quickly and you have to click connect a second time.

**What problems is Check Point SASE solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Connection to the server when I work from home.

  ### 36. Harmony Sase perimeter 81

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed Date:** June 11, 2024

**What do you like best about Check Point SASE?**

It helps in securing data as I work from home, so it helps in that!

**What do you dislike about Check Point SASE?**

Nothing for now, everything looks good on this side!

**What problems is Check Point SASE solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps in securing data from corrupted files and site allows us to work remotely independently.

  ### 37. Reliable and user friendly

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Insurance | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 26, 2024

**What do you like best about Check Point SASE?**

From a user perspective, I like the "always on" feature. the VPN is ready to do right when I start my computer and I do not have to think about that. The interface is very intuitive. Having used other VPNs in the past, I can say this is super-stable .

**What do you dislike about Check Point SASE?**

I did not encounter any difficulty with this. If anything, the little icon on the right top when running is a bit small and the green/yellow dot hard to see.

**What problems is Check Point SASE solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This is a time-saving application, as I do not have to remember to turn it on every time I log into my laptop

  ### 38. Worst Customer Service in VPN Industry I Have Ever Experienced

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kawalpreet J. | IT Administrator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 07, 2024

**What do you like best about Check Point SASE?**

Liked the logging activity in the dashboard, but I can't even be sure if it works at all.

**What do you dislike about Check Point SASE?**

Customer service. First, they don't answer you. You wait for their reply. You ask again, they haven't read your initial query and wrote the scripted answer. You ask the query again, and they will not respond.

**What problems is Check Point SASE solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Perimeter 81, unlike other business VPNs, seems to give a control over employees' logging activities which was an essential feature for us. But can't even test if it works or not with the customer service they have.
