We had to manage ShareFile in a second portal until it was ready for integration in the main portal. This took some time and additional overhead on our part. However, Avanan was able to implement it into the main portal afterall. **Recommendations to others considering Check Point Email Security:** Thoroughly review the integrations available for this platform as you will find there is a plethora of options to choose from that can complement your environment. **What problems is Check Point Email Security solving and how is that benefiting you?** The benefits that we realized is the increased visibility in Shadow IT accounts which were able to better manage internally; we were able to store our custom queries for quick access to information and run them consistently or pause them at our discretion for increased performance; the tracking of changes in states of an email as it flowed through the system was very beneficial and our ability to manually change the state at our discretion was very helpful. ### 4. The databases used for Anti-Spam protections are updated automatically from the Check Point Threat Cloud, based on the schedule (for mosts of our environments - every 2 hours.). 3. There is a built-in antivirus to scan the attachments of the emails. **What do you dislike about Check Point Email Security?** For the Check Point Management software version R80.10, the configuration of the Anti-Spam & Email Security software blade should be made in the outdated Smart Dashboard and not in the modern Smart Console. You can't have both application opened at the same time - one gets blocked. That's also valid for some other blades (DLP, Mobile Access). The user was a director financials. After a few days, a hacker sends to bank a email in name to Director Finantials, ordering to transfer 50.000 $ to a account. We had luck, because the bank called to the user, for other cuestions, and ask him if he need the note about the transfer. Then we could stop that transfer. We installed CloudGuard six month ago.
