I like its industry-leading threat prevention best, blocking 100% of malware and exploits with zero false positives per recent CyberRatings tests. What do you dislike about Check Point Cloud Firewall (formerly CloudGuard Network Security)?

The main drawbacks of Check Point CloudGuard Network Security are its steep learning curve and complex initial setup, often requiring deep familiarity with Check Point ecosystems or cloud architectures. "Enterprise-Grade Cloud Security That Just Works"
4/5
What do you like best about Check Point Cloud Firewall (formerly CloudGuard Network Security)?

When we started using Check Point CloudGuard Network Security, what struck me right away was how quickly we got solid, enterprise‑level protection without having to tear apart our existing cloud setup. Everything was up and running smoothly, and it just worked.

What I like most is that it brings together firewalling, intrusion prevention, and advanced threat protection all in one place. Whether we’re dealing with workloads in the cloud or on‑prem, the policies stay consistent and easy to manage. The management console also deserves a mention cause it’s super clear and having everything visible from one dashboard really saves time day to day.

Also, the auto scaling feature is really good, It automatically keeps up so the security layer never becomes a bottleneck, and, to be honest, It just runs in the background catching issues and anomalies. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Check Point Cloud Firewall (formerly CloudGuard Network Security)?

The main thing of Check Point CloudGuard Network Security is that is not very beginner-friendly. If you think about smaller teams or people who don't have any previous experience. The initial setup can feel complex and requires some time to fully understand the different things like routing options or blades.

All this things compared to the pricing, that is definitely on the higher side compared to some cloud-native alternatives, so It's an investment that needs to be justified by a serious security requirement. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Robust Security with Centralized Management"
5/5
What do you like best about Check Point Cloud Firewall (formerly CloudGuard Network Security)?

I like Check Point CloudGuard Network Security because it's a strong threat prevention tool that provides clear visibility into cloud network traffic. I appreciate the centralized security management, which makes it easier to monitor and control security policies across different cloud environments. The platform is reliable and scalable, helping to protect cloud workloads against modern cyber threats efficiently. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Check Point Cloud Firewall (formerly CloudGuard Network Security)?

One area that could be improved is the user interface, which can sometimes feel complex. Simplifying the dashboard and navigation would make it easier to manage security policies and monitor cloud activity. Additionally, improved documentation with more guiding steps would help deploy, configure, and perform tasks more quickly, with step-by-step implementation options. "Strong Zero-Day Protection and Better Traffic Visibility, with Cloud Scaling Automation"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Check Point Cloud Firewall (formerly CloudGuard Network Security)?

Checkpoint CloudGuard Network Security is a good product. It has helped us to protect against Zero Day attack. we were in search for a cloud scaling and automation tool which was fulfilled by Checkpoint CloudGuard network Security. Earlier we were not able to inspect the traffic about where our actual traffic was going but due this application the requirement was fulfilled. Also, the customer support responded quickly for the query we raised Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Check Point Cloud Firewall (formerly CloudGuard Network Security)?

The architecture is complex because during implementation we found out that the complex architecture was becoming a hurdle for us. OEM should introduce more documents so that the architecture should be easily understandable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Single Pane of Glass for Multi-Cloud Visibility and Faster Triage"
5/5
What do you like best about Check Point Cloud Firewall (formerly CloudGuard Network Security)?

It provides a single pane of glass across AWS, Azure, GCP, and hybrid environments. Instead of jumping between multiple consoles, I can view logs, alerts, and policy hits in one place, which speeds up the initial process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Check Point Cloud Firewall (formerly CloudGuard Network Security)?

The UI can feel overwhelming at first. As an L1, it takes some time to figure out where the logs are, how the policies map to cloud resources, and what each alert actually means. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Centralized, Layered Defense with Strong Visibility and Logging"
5/5
What do you like best about Check Point Cloud Firewall (formerly CloudGuard Network Security)?

What I like most about Check Point security is its centralized policy management and how it brings firewall, IPS, anti-bot, anti-virus, and sandboxing together into a single, layered defense model. It also stands out for strong logging, identity awareness, and solid visibility, which is helpful for audits as well as incident response. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Check Point Cloud Firewall (formerly CloudGuard Network Security)?

Security is widely respected for its high catch rates and robust "single pane of glass" management, it is often a "love it or hate it" platform. So broadly no issue to be report as of now Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Peace of Mind with CloudGuard Security"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Check Point Cloud Firewall (formerly CloudGuard Network Security)?

I really appreciate the peace of mind that Check Point CloudGuard Network Security gives us. It actively monitors network traffic and blocks threats in real-time, which has led to fewer incidents and faster response to potential security issues. The visibility it provides is impressive; the intuitive dashboard shows what's happening in our cloud network at any given moment. I find it incredibly useful to see potential risks, traffic flows, and compliance status all in one place. This centralized view has saved us hours of manual monitoring and simplified our audit process. A major plus is the automation, where CloudGuard automatically applies security policies and prevents common threats, allowing our small security team to manage a large, complex cloud environment more efficiently. Integration with our existing cloud platforms like AWS and Azure was easier than expected, and the support team has been responsive when we had questions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Check Point Cloud Firewall (formerly CloudGuard Network Security)?

I think the pricing is higher than some other tools we considered, and some advanced features require more technical knowledge to configure. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Efficient Cloud Security Management with Stellar Compliance Features"
5/5
What do you like best about Check Point Cloud Firewall (formerly CloudGuard Network Security)?

I have been using Check Point CloudGuard CNAPP for cloud security posture management and it has proven to be incredibly effective and efficient for our operations. The setup process was straightforward, thanks to the comprehensive documentation provided by Check Point, allowing us to execute it with ease. I find the visibility it offers across all our cloud assets and the identification of misconfigurations vital to our operations, as it aggregates all my cloud assets into a single dashboard. This means we do not have to log into individual accounts, which is especially beneficial because we handle multiple projects and clients. Additionally, the binding of compliance policies to specific projects and the ability to generate reports with remediations has greatly enhanced our operational security. The agentless scanning and Cloud Workload Protection features are standout capabilities that help us identify security vulnerabilities without much hassle. Furthermore, the CIEM feature is very useful in identifying critical accounts, and the software's compatibility with various cloud providers ensures seamless integration. The detailed remediation guidance guides us effectively to fix vulnerabilities step by step, aligning with our processes. It serves both compliance requirements and addresses modern cybersecurity problems, offering a complete solution for our needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Check Point Cloud Firewall (formerly CloudGuard Network Security)?

I am concerned about data being transferred to Check Point's cloud, as it may deviate from certain cybersecurity guidelines. This creates potential conflicts because every company should ideally have their customer data stored in their own data centers to maintain control and adhere to security protocols.
