What do you like best about ChatGPT?
"What I value most is its versatility as a high-level logic engine and technical co-pilot. For someone working in complex IT environments, the ability to debug Python scripts, verify multi-vendor network configurations, and simulate troubleshooting scenarios is invaluable. The Advanced Data Analysis feature and the new Reasoning models (o1) have transformed how I handle documentation and complex problem-solving, turning hours of research into minutes of structured output."

UI / UX
"The interface is clean and intuitive, striking a perfect balance between simplicity and power. Features like Canvas for real-side editing and the ability to organize chats into a searchable history make it an excellent personal knowledge base. The dark mode and markdown support for code blocks are essential for long technical sessions."
Integrations
"The integration with Google Drive and OneDrive has streamlined my workflow, allowing for direct analysis of large datasets and logs. Additionally, the mobile app’s voice mode is surprisingly sophisticated, allowing for productive brainstorming during commutes. The availability of specialized GPTs also adds a layer of customization that bridges the gap between general AI and niche technical tools."
Performance
"The speed and reliability of the GPT-4o model are exceptional. Even with complex, multi-step instructions, the model maintains context perfectly. The 'thinking' process in the newer reasoning models provides transparency, ensuring that the logic behind a technical solution is sound before implementation."
Pricing / ROI
"The Return on Investment is significant. By automating repetitive scripting tasks, drafting technical reports, and summarizing lengthy documentation, ChatGPT saves me at least 10 hours of manual work per week. For any professional in the tech industry, the subscription cost is a small price to pay for the massive boost in productivity and accuracy."
Support / Onboarding
"Onboarding is seamless; the tool is 'plug-and-play' with a very shallow learning curve. For more advanced features, the documentation and community GPTs provide ample guidance. From an organizational perspective, the privacy controls and Team/Enterprise management features provide the necessary security for corporate environments." Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What do you dislike about ChatGPT?
"While ChatGPT is an industry leader, there are a few areas for improvement:
Knowledge Cutoff & Real-time Data: Even with web browsing capabilities, there is sometimes a lag in accessing the absolute latest updates for very niche technical documentation or newly released software libraries.
Token Limits in Long Conversations: In very long, complex technical troubleshooting sessions, the 'context window' can eventually fill up, leading the model to occasionally lose track of minor details mentioned at the very beginning of the thread.
Consistency in Code formatting: Occasionally, when generating long scripts, the code might cut off mid-way or require a 'continue' prompt, which can slightly disrupt the workflow.
Occasional Hallucinations in Niche Logic: For extremely specialized networking protocols or proprietary vendor commands, it can sometimes be 'over-confident' in its suggestions, requiring a quick double-check against official manuals." Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
