When looking for a new solution for our revenue data Chartmogul gave us the flexibility to re-categorize MRR changes that fit with our business model of contraction vs churn, and churn > reactivation vs Expansion. I like the updates / notfications that you can automate to your email - specifically new account activations that include all the info I'm looking for. If you have a client move from an old subscription to a new one, you see churn or contraction which isn't always the case. The only option you have is to "connect subscriptions" which could skew the MRR numbers for previous months. If the new subscription is an upgrade, I would like for the net new MRR to display or if it's contraction, just the net MRR that was lost, not the entire subscription amount. We had a difficult use case, since we were migrating thousands of customers from Chargebee to Stripe Billing, and we needed a metrics solution that could keep us informed about the total MRR etc. even as customers were being unsubscribed in Chargebee and being recreated in Stripe. ChartMogul handled this complex scenario without a fuss. Their wonderful and detailed support helped guide us through the automation we needed to set up via their API to ensure a frictionless onboarding experience.

We did have a small issue with how Chargebee is integrated (a link from their page for a customer to the relevant customer page in Chargebee) which we reported many months ago and still hasn't been fixed.
