## ChartHop Reviews
 ### 1. Great for People Analytics, but ATS integrations and HR Ops templates need work

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rosario T. | Sr. People Ops & Analytics, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 13, 2026

**What do you like best about ChartHop?**

It is the perfect tool for People Analytics and very customized processes and data fields for whatever you may need. It is pretty easy to use and collab with. The support team has always solved my issues whenever I raised them. I use it basically every day of the week.

**What do you dislike about ChartHop?**

I wish it would have stronger integrations with other tools - In my case my ATS - Ashby. It only brings a few fields and it doesn't respect the approval workflow made for Openings in Ashby. Also, it is not bi-directional, so the only way of making it work is from Charthop >> Ashby, instead of Ashby >> and then pre-drafting the new open position in Charthop to keep the org chart udpated. Also, I wish it would provide more suggested templates for HR Ops like other HRIS do.

**What problems is ChartHop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helps me keep my People data centralized and allows employees to track everything in one place.

 ### 2. Customizable, User-Friendly HRIS with Supportive Team

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rosario T. | People Team Lead, Investment Banking, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 14, 2026

**What do you like best about ChartHop?**

I use ChartHop as an HRIS for internal processes within HR scopes and tasks. It centralizes my data, and it's very customizable and easy to tailor-make processes according to my company's preferences. The UX and UI are very nice and easy to navigate. I also find the support team always ready to help, and the performance of the platform works well, as I've never had major technical issues that couldn't be solved within a few hours. The implementation management team was also very helpful during the setup.

**What do you dislike about ChartHop?**

Some integrations don't work as well as expected or are just unidirectional. I also wish there could be more bundles or pre-created templates for HR-related things. Additionally, it would be great if e-signature documents could happen within the platform, allowing onboarding and other processes to fully exist within ChartHop's ecosystem and database.

**What problems is ChartHop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ChartHop centralizes my data and is customizable, making it easy to tailor processes to my company's needs.

 ### 3. Intuitive and Effective for Data Management, Needs More Dashboard Customization

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 25, 2026

**What do you like best about ChartHop?**

I find ChartHop really easy to use for everyone, as anybody can log in and navigate through its intuitive platform. I appreciate how it employs a drag-and-drop methodology that makes building things like data sheets and dashboards much easier to play around with. Plus, using ChartHop AI simplifies the process even further.

**What do you dislike about ChartHop?**

Customization in dashboards could be better. Some of the visuals can be very limiting because you can't use as many customizations as you could in an actual BI platform like Tableau or Power BI.

**What problems is ChartHop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ChartHop allows me to quickly and easily pull in different types of data together to view employee information individually or in groups.

 ### 4. Essential for Navigating Team Structures

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joseph M. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 16, 2026

**What do you like best about ChartHop?**

I love the org chart feature in ChartHop because it shows where team members sit within the organization in an easy-to-digest way. I also enjoy the profile section where I can learn a bit about my colleagues. It's easy to navigate and to learn about the organization. The setup and maintenance of ChartHop have been pretty easy.

**What do you dislike about ChartHop?**

Honestly I don't really use a lot of the tabs other than profile and org chart so I think showcasing all the other things it has to offer would be beneficial for the end user. For example, the dashboard feature sounds intriguing but I am not really sure how to use it.

**What problems is ChartHop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use ChartHop to track employee changes and utilize the org chart for easy navigation. It solves the issue of people not knowing where to go for answers.

 ### 5. ChartHop Makes 1:1s More Meaningful with Transparent, Real-Time Insights

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 19, 2026

**What do you like best about ChartHop?**

As a sales rep, I genuinely love using ChartHop, especially for 1:1 engagement, because it adds a level of transparency and insight that I don’t get with most HR tools. Everything lives in one place, so I can view performance, goals, feedback, and engagement data as a connected picture. That makes my 1:1 conversations more meaningful and grounded in real information, rather than assumptions.

The real-time dashboards and data visualizations also make it easier to understand what’s actually happening across the team, instead of relying on guesswork or jumping between scattered tools. I also appreciate how it supports continuous feedback and ongoing development. It’s not just a once-a-quarter check-in; it helps me stay aligned with my manager and track progress over time.

Overall, ChartHop makes communication smoother, keeps things transparent, and helps me feel more in control of my growth and performance.

**What do you dislike about ChartHop?**

There is nothing that I dislike about ChartHop; it works seamlessly

**What problems is ChartHop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ChartHop addresses a major challenge with scattered, hard-to-access people data by bringing everything—performance, goals, compensation, and org structure into one centralized platform. Rather than digging through spreadsheets or bouncing between multiple tools, I can get a clear, real-time view of what’s happening across the company, which makes 1:1s and performance conversations much more productive. It also reduces confusion around reporting lines and team structure, so I always know who to go to and how the organization fits together.

For me, the biggest benefit is the transparency and clarity. It’s easier to stay aligned with my manager, track progress, and have more meaningful conversations without guesswork. Overall, it saves time, reduces friction, and helps me focus on actually performing instead of chasing down information.

 ### 6. Great Support, Flexible System, and Helpful New Features

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 29, 2026

**What do you like best about ChartHop?**

Great support overall. I also appreciate the implementation of new features and the flexibility of the system, which makes it easier to adapt to what I need.

**What do you dislike about ChartHop?**

It doesn’t include a payroll module; otherwise, we could already be using CH as our main HRIS.

**What problems is ChartHop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use CH for our org chart and for managing salary and bonus cycles. We also use forms to set up 1:1s and to run performance reviews.

 ### 7. Intuitive Org Chart Tool with Seamless Slack Integration

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 05, 2024

**What do you like best about ChartHop?**

I really appreciate ChartHop's interface because it is incredibly easy to use and understand, making my workflow much simpler. The integration with Slack is another feature I love since it ensures that anything I need to fill in or complete is directly sent to my Slack. This way, I am certain not to miss any important tasks, keeping my work organized and efficient. The ease of logging into ChartHop, facilitated by the employee success team, was straightforward for me, requiring no effort on my part for the initial setup. Additionally, ChartHop significantly improves my ability to navigate our complex organization by understanding the organizational chart, which helps me identify the right contacts for various tasks. These features collectively enhance my quality of life and usability within the platform, ensuring that critical tasks don't fall to the bottom of my to-do list.

**What do you dislike about ChartHop?**

No problems so far!

**What problems is ChartHop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use ChartHop to navigate our complex organization, understanding roles and line reports efficiently. It helps me know whom to contact for specific tasks, and collect critical information. The Slack integration ensures I don't miss updates, enhancing productivity.

 ### 8. Clear Org Visibility and Powerful Scenario Planning in ChartHop

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 03, 2026

**What do you like best about ChartHop?**

I like how much better the planning and scenario tools have gotten. It’s easier to model changes without touching real data, and the visuals are clearer, so it’s actually usable in conversations with leadership instead of just being an ops tool.

The product also feels more polished overall org charts load faster, filtering is smoother, and sharing views with the right level of access is less painful than it used to be.

**What do you dislike about ChartHop?**

It could be simpler in day-to-day use. There’s a lot of power there, but some workflows still feel heavier than they need to be, especially for managers who just want quick answers.

Data upkeep is another area. If integrations drift or fields aren’t perfectly mapped, things break quietly and someone has to notice. Better guardrails or alerts around data quality would help a lot.

**What problems is ChartHop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solves visibility and alignment problems as the org grows.

ChartHop gives a single, trusted view of headcount, reporting lines, and planned changes, instead of fragmented spreadsheets and outdated decks. That makes it much easier to answer basic org questions and to plan things like reorgs or hiring without guesswork.

The benefit is speed and clarity fewer surprises, fewer side conversations, and faster decisions because everyone’s looking at the same source of truth.

 ### 9. Seamless Organizational Insights with ChartHop

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 14, 2025

**What do you like best about ChartHop?**

I find ChartHop to be an incredibly good tool, especially for tracking information within my organization. It excels in helping me understand who people are in different teams and allows me to easily get in touch with their managers or gather other essential information about them. I particularly appreciate its capabilities for working with organizational charts and facilitating applications for sabbatical leaves. ChartHop plays a significant role in my pay parity and compensation discussions with my manager, making it a great and super helpful tool. The platform's visuals are impressive—the dashboards, sheets, and information are all beautifully visualized, enhancing my overall experience. Moreover, its user interface is incredibly seamless, making it easy to use, and it effectively assists me in identifying stakeholders within the organization without unnecessary hassle. The ability to get specific feedback from my manager through the tool is another aspect I am fond of.

**What do you dislike about ChartHop?**

nothing I can think of. Have had a good experience

**What problems is ChartHop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use ChartHop to track organizational information, know colleagues, and manage pay discussions effortlessly. Its visual and easy-to-use platform aids in cross-functional collaboration, progress tracking, and sabbatical leave applications.

 ### 10. Top-Notch UI, Excellent for Headcount Planning

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sara D.

**Reviewed Date:** December 29, 2025

**What do you like best about ChartHop?**

The UI is the best I've seen for any type of HR tool. I love that the data sheet is basically a Google Sheet but in a great customizable format. The dashboards are easy to create and use as well.

**What do you dislike about ChartHop?**

The integration between ChartHop and our HRIS could be improved. We are not able to customize some of the fields we want to and have had to find other avenues to integrate. The standard fields in ChartHop don't always match our HRIS and ChartHop doesn't allow for customization of those fields, so we have to default to custom fields which is confusing since the standard out-of-the-box fields are still available.

**What problems is ChartHop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use ChartHop for managing and approving headcount requests and overall headcount budget.
