What do you like best about Charity Auctions?

That there was a free (no subscription) option for the platform which gave us everything we needed to run our auction. It was really easy to use Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Charity Auctions?

I loved the text feature that we were able to use before, during , and after the auction. This increased the number of bidders that actively participated, which then increased our total amount raised from the event. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Charity Auctions?

The only issue that we had was that we had to log into the site to see any messages or monetary donations from bidders. It would have been nice to have an email notification when these occurred. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I would be interested in a system more easily connects ticketing to live event. I'd also be interested in looking an onsite swipe system for collecting payment. We ended up having to take IOUs because the constant data entry was taking forever.

"Easy Setup - Great Support"

What do you like best about Charity Auctions?

The platform was really easy to use and this year we used the text message feature to register guests at our pancake breakfast. This allowed us to just place flyers on the tables and we didn't need volunteers to help register bidders..We actually saw an increase in the number of bidders this year. We had a lot of young families at the pancake breakfast and they really liked the text registration and the fact they could bid on their phone. This helped us raise more money this year. What do you like best about Charity Auctions?

Site was easy to use and set up and looked great with minimum fuss! Lots of controls if you want them. Price was inline with what we could afford. Our attendee's thought it looked and worked great on their mobile devices! Made us feel like we made the right decision to use CAT. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Charity Auctions Today is Fantastic!"

What do you like best about Charity Auctions?

I am a veteran of live and online charity auctions. This year I moved from BiddingforGood to Charity Auctions Today. Charity Auctions Today is easy to customize, items can be batch uploaded or manually entered in a simple way, and it integrates well with FB, Constant Contact and our sales processor, Stripe. There is little to dislike other than moving to a new platform has a little extra work. But next year should be very easy once since you can copy items from auction to auction. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Seamless transfer of a large auction!"

What do you like best about Charity Auctions?

The team at Charity Auctions Today was so wonderful helping us transition from another auction software. Our silent auction uses mobile bidding and bidders had a must easier time using the CAT system then previous system. One of the most profound differences was the ease of event registration. It was so smooth after our transition to CAT that I think our registration assistants were almost bored! Registering to bid was a cinch with the text-to-bid option, and check-out has never been easier. Additionally, including card fees, fees and hardware purchases from the CC processing company, and the CAT platform, we saved over $1,200 (very important for a nonprofit organization)!! We can't wait to see what else CAT brings to the table in following years! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Charity Auctions?

We would've liked to provide ticket-buyers the option to assume CC fees when purchasing. Also, a feature that we lost in our transition to CAT was the ability to have both auto- and straight-bid options offered simultaneously, but bidders hardly noticed this. Finally, when bidders scroll through the auction page, then click an item for closer review, then return to the auction page, they lost their place in scrolling. If you're considering switching to Charity Auctions Today, quit hesitating. It really is as good as it seems, and the support is amazing if you need a bit of guidance. We solved the problem of having a clunky, difficult system for administrators, as well as volunteers and bidders, by switching to Charity Auctions Today. We had the best year in our history while using CAT. I love how easy it is to batch-upload auction items, schedule the auction, sell tickets, and communicate with bidders.
