Charity Auctions Today has definitely given us the option to reach beyond to the people who are unable to attend the actual event and to try different things. In the past two years using CAT we've been able to do silent auctions, a paddle raise, and a live auction. **What do you dislike about Charity Auctions?** The downside is the closeout process. While simple and easy, it is difficult to closeout without a hitch. There also isn't help onsite-- you can pay to have remote help via phone call but sometimes it can feel like you're alone during the actually auction process and it can be intimidating. **Recommendations to others considering Charity Auctions:** I would definitely recommend CAT. For first timers like myself it's a good program that is easy to use when going into the modern online auctions. **What problems is Charity Auctions solving and how is that benefiting you?** The biggest, is that our auction can reach more people and we can open it up ahead of the event to create a buzz. We've always reached our fundraising goal and then some with CAT. It's a great benefit---it does create more work in the long run but definitely worth it! The opportunity to add in sponsors is also a great benefit! ### 2.
