Not only did the Chameleon team provide insightful guidance, but they also assisted us in debugging issues within our code base, ensuring a smooth onboarding process.

I use Chameleon in my job for everything from new features, to onboarding, to critical alerts and advertising. It allows for incredible customization with layout and custom HTML but also amazing customization for desktop position, audience, and timing.

**What do you dislike about Chameleon?**

Sometimes our code does not play well with identifying an object to anchor a tour to, but it's a rare instance.

**What problems is Chameleon solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are able to have onboarding at the click of a button across all of our products. We can keep track of all launches and alerts within Chameleon, rather than tracking it with developer-based solutions.

**What problems is Chameleon solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Get customer intelligence, proof of concept, cross revenue campaigns

**Official Response from Pulkit Agrawal:**

> Thanks for appreciating how we enable you to visualize your campaigns! Building UX without code is relatively new, so we're still trying to find ways to make our Builder seamless -- providing the depth of customization options folks want, without becoming overwhelming. We've been continually making improvements to our dashboard and Builder's UI over the last months and years, but always love collecting any specific feedback -- are there any aspects you found confusing that we should review?

  ### 13. Great product. Easy to implement & effective

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Staffing and Recruiting | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 22, 2024

**What do you like best about Chameleon?**

Easy to setup banner notifications for your users

**What do you dislike about Chameleon?**

Lack of control over getting styling to match the brand. This might just be a subscription level limitation.

**What problems is Chameleon solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Really just using it for notifications about ongoing webinars and major changes to our application.

**Official Response from Pulkit Agrawal:**

> Hey, we'd love to help support you ensuring your styles match your brand! We try to pull default colors to pre-set your brand, but you can fine tune things like colors (e.g. for background, buttons, links etc.) or padding/text spacing etc. from the Styling page in your dashboard. You can also use your exact product font, and custom CSS is available on all plans. You can also create Templates with different styles to use in different cases. We haven't heard this "lack of control over styling" feedback much recently so I'd love to dig in and help resolve or learn and improve our product!

  ### 15. Chameleon Review

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 16, 2024

**What do you like best about Chameleon?**

Easy to create tours / tooltip / launcher, many options for specifying the appearance of windows and buttons,

**What do you dislike about Chameleon?**

I don't like statistics, they constantly surprise me and are not understandable to me.

**What problems is Chameleon solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Additionally, it supports users of our system

  ### 17. Easy to use no-code platform

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 22, 2024

**What do you like best about Chameleon?**

I can implement A/B testing and complement my customer's experience without having to resort to developments, speeding up the process of learning for my product

**What do you dislike about Chameleon?**

It's easy to mess up the edits when playing with the tool, so you end up breaking your builders super easily. A little buggy sometimes too

**What problems is Chameleon solving and how is that benefiting you?**

No-code changes to my product, improve UX and test hypothesis without involvement of developers

  ### 18. Onboard customers with Chameleon

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 13, 2024

**What do you like best about Chameleon?**

It's a powerful software and we could create in-app tours to onboard customers.

**What do you dislike about Chameleon?**

Probably because it's powerful, figuring out how to best implement what we have in mind was mind-boggling.

**What problems is Chameleon solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Onboard customers

**Official Response from Sonia Schiau:**

> We're glad to hear that you find Chameleon to be a powerful tool to drive your onboarding!

We're sure once you get used to Chameleon, you will find it easier and easier to tackle new use cases! Please don't hesitate to reach out to our customer support team if you need more help!

  ### 19. It's easy to use

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 07, 2023

**What do you like best about Chameleon?**

You can use the tool easily without reliance on dev. We have rolled out quick experiments that were straight forward and easy to set up meaning dev resources could be spent elsewhere.

**What do you dislike about Chameleon?**

The UX isn't the best when creating campaigns so it can be awkward when needing to make a change across all tiles.

**What problems is Chameleon solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are able to spend dev resource on other complex areas.

  ### 20. Easy, no dev cycle, product communications

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dianna L. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 15, 2023

**What do you like best about Chameleon?**

We use Chameleon to announce release notes, drive attendance for release webinars, survey who plans to attend our user conference, tooltips, and launchers with quick links to useful resources. I love that I can create communications and share them directly with my end users. The ability to segment to specific groups of users ensures the right message gets to the right user.

The fact that I can customize each experience to match our branding without burning a dev cycle means agility with these communications.

**What do you dislike about Chameleon?**

I would love to be able to create a "newsletter" type item.

When designing launchers, seeing any other active Chameleon launchers on your application would be great.

**What problems is Chameleon solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a SaaS provider, we needed a way for the Product team to communicate directly with our end users without burning a dev cycle. Having Chameleon ensures our product managers can quickly create release note announcements, tooltips, launchers, and tours.

  ### 21. Easy to use and enough customization options for our business

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 09, 2024

**What do you like best about Chameleon?**

Ease of use and customization options for the tours and surveys

**What do you dislike about Chameleon?**

Installation was hard and support is somehow difficult to get

**What problems is Chameleon solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Chameleon is helping us with the self-onboarding of the tool and getting an NPS score

  ### 22. Very cool tool for rapidly building out targeted customer experiences

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mike M. | Director, UX, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 06, 2023

**What do you like best about Chameleon?**

Chameleon runs in top of all the different customer an internal facing platforms we operate. This means we can develop and rest rapidly without severely draining our software team resources.

The Chameleon platform is well executed, logical and easy use even for teams new to onboarding and CX develoment.

The available tools make it easy to develop and deploy onboarding and value messaging, product and feature training, and a variety of other marketing and system messages.

Product integrations including SalesForce and Heap have made it very easy to segment customers and track performer beyond the built in basic campaign metrics.

And lastly, I'll say I've had nothing but great interactions with the Chamelon team as we've moved from a Starter account to a more robust Growth plan in a very short time.

**What do you dislike about Chameleon?**

Campaign management is a little less structured than we're used to with other tools. We've built a lot of experiences and as the list grows we need to adapt to ensure we don't loose track of campaigns and stack too many things for our users.

Some campaign setting such as start and end dates can't be programmed from external metadata using the dashboard. (Or maybe we haven't figured out how to do that yet)

**What problems is Chameleon solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Chameleon is helping us deploy tattered marketing, renewal messaging, onboarding and feature training.

Because it works on top of our platforms without (much) software team effort, we can build and deploy more quickly at a marketing cadence.

  ### 23. Intuitive, Innovative and Code-free Tool for Customer Engagement

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nishita K. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 15, 2023

**What do you like best about Chameleon?**

Chameleon offers a good variety of experiences that can be customized, and the final output blends right into our customer interface. We like that they keep launching innovative features like the help bar and help menu, and we find the Chameleon UI intuitive. The customer success managers are very supportive, prompt, and knowledgeable.

**What do you dislike about Chameleon?**

Data analytics can be improved to measure events at a unique user level (in a privacy-centric manner) and not based on cohorts. It would also be helpful to know the time taken to complete a tour or checklist.

**What problems is Chameleon solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Chameleon to build customer engagement and product adoption features for our customer interface. We like the flexibility and stability of launching experiences without coding. It has reduced our dependency on engineering teams. The tours, checklists, and tooltips have helped us improve the onboarding experience for our end users. We will use these features to drive product adoption in the upcoming quarters.

  ### 24. A flexible, purpose-fit, user engagement tool

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Emma V. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 03, 2023

**What do you like best about Chameleon?**

- breadth of styling, to keep look-and-feel consistent
- breadth of features captures a ton of use cases from BAU to ad hoc
- breadth of integrations
- service - my sales manager and csm have both been accommodating, responsive, and knowledgeable at every turn

**What do you dislike about Chameleon?**

granted these are nit-picky, but
- little bugs here and there (though easy to flag and quickly resolved so far)
- builder environment doesn't fit all use cases - if you have lots of dynamic menus for example, it might be hard to get it to target what you need (niche issue for the most part so far)

**What problems is Chameleon solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our application lacks major flexibility in the way it notifies users - and enhancing it internally was never going to get prioritized. Chameleon out of the box is way better than anything we would have built ourselves. It puts dynamic content created for users (notifications, tours, surveys, etc.) in the hands of non-developers, where we can spin up what we need, when we need it.
It also integrates with our two main customer systems of record - mixpanel for usage, and salesforce for crm - that way we get closer to that holy grail single customer profile!

  ### 25. Using Chameleon in our Application

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Destry G. | Director of Product Management, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 03, 2023

**What do you like best about Chameleon?**

Chameleon was a good choice for our company because it allowed us to prove the value of in-app guidance, tooltips, and surveys to our business stakeholders. We chose to initially pilot the solution on a new application that was being built and then later applied some of our learnings to our primary application. We have seen an increase in feature adoption and fewer calls to our support desk by proactively training users about tricky UI/UX.

**What do you dislike about Chameleon?**

Chameleon's help center was very poor when we initially started using it. To overcome that, they provided a lot of 1:1 support during our onboarding. I am very pleased by the help that has been provided throughout the past 9 months that we have been using Chameleon. Although I don't use help very much now that we're up and running, they have improved their help documentation a lot since we first started using the application.

The biggest drawback that I've seen with chameleon is that we use a lot of CSS selectors to get the proper element and in some circumstances write JS code to get the desired behavior. This results in us going to the dev team semi-regularly (probably 20% of the time). I have not used any other tools like this to compare with so it may be normal.

**What problems is Chameleon solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Initially, we decided to use the platform to help with customer self-service so that we could take the burden off of our support team. Additionally, we have found a few circumstances to be able to utilize Chameleon in non-traditional ways to solve temporary needs such as showing a popup to certain users that prevent them from accessing a feature they shouldn't have access to or giving warnings to users prior to completing an event.

Additionally, we wanted a tool that would seamlessly integrate with our analytics solutions (heap) which this did nicely. With the integration, we are able to use a central tool for customer segmentation and reporting rather than performing the same segmentation in both tools and then combining reports from each tool.

  ### 26. Very customizable and in-trend

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tiffany S. | Sr. Manager, Benefits and Compensation, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2023

**What do you like best about Chameleon?**

We use Chameleon to create internal newsletters and love that we are able to fully customize the look and feel to match our brand. We love that the newsletter automatically generates a QR code for us to use.

**What do you dislike about Chameleon?**

We have not been able to use Chameleon to send direct emails to our employees. To me, that part of their system is difficult to understand and hard to use. They want you to export to a third party to distribute. For that reason, we just use the QR code generated to email in-house.

**What problems is Chameleon solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed a platform to create on brand newsletters. This system provides that for us as it allows us to fully customize the look and feel of the final product.

  ### 27. Great tool for engaging with customers

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jamie G. | Product Marketing Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 24, 2023

**What do you like best about Chameleon?**

Makes onboarding new customers easy and efficient. Ease of use is great but I also enjoy being able to use my own CSS to spice things up. Overall very good investment.

**What do you dislike about Chameleon?**

The builder can be a bit clunky at times. Also, once inside the builder, moving between different tours is not super intuitive. Once you get the hang of it, it's not bad, but the user experience could be improved there.

**What problems is Chameleon solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows us to scale onboarding for a large number of users, and also gives us tools to engage with users where they're most likely to respond vs. using traditional means like email.

  ### 28. Great to interact with customers.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 26, 2023

**What do you like best about Chameleon?**

I really like using the micro surveys and the pop-ups. It's a quick way to communicate with our customers and hear what they think of our new releases. We also use it for NPS. The customer support is efficient and helpful.

**What do you dislike about Chameleon?**

It took me a bit to get the hang of it, a colleague trained me, I didn't figure it out by myself.

**What problems is Chameleon solving and how is that benefiting you?**

it helps my customers to learn about the new features. It's also our tool for sending NPS.

  ### 29. Saving hours on developer time

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Richard D. | Marketing specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 26, 2023

**What do you like best about Chameleon?**

The way how we use Chameleon saves our developer hours on neverending text changes, creating tooltips or improving on product adoption. It is quite intuitive to set up and use from the get go. It has great segmentation that can be really powerfull

**What do you dislike about Chameleon?**

The Chameleon's new UI is harder to use(a lot of clicking) and there can be smaller bugs here and there. Also, this is not necessarily Chameon's issue, but regarding tours&product adoption, it is very hard to create an experience, that really helps users getting to understand our product.
However any of these issues are not showstoppers. Chameleon is still very great tool

**What problems is Chameleon solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Product adoption and explaining some parts of our product which are really hard to use. This tool is easy to use and let's more junior people to improve stuff on our FE.

  ### 30. Comprehensive No-Code Solution to Improving User Experience

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 12, 2023

**What do you like best about Chameleon?**

Chameleon helps increase feature development agility and flexibility by empowering more team members to contribute to implementing essential user experiences. Additionally, iteration cycles are quicker as the overhead of adjusting any onboarding or information tooltips can be changed with no code adjustments.

If you are on a large team, Chameleon also has incredibly robust management features like rate limiting and templates to help organize the management needs from team size and diverging team priorities.

Finally, as we are an international team with international users, localization is critical for supporting countries where English is not the primary language. Chameleon supports these scenarios, unlike other competitors.

**What do you dislike about Chameleon?**

Not a particularly serious dislike, but I would like them to improve their localization experience. Personally, the current workflow in our team is being disrupted a bit by how Chameleon has designed their localization experience.

**What problems is Chameleon solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Microsurveys to get user feedback and in-app user guidance.

  ### 31. Great tool for guiding customers through new features in our platform

**What do you like best about Chameleon?**

Easy to use, nice features to call out new product announcements

**What do you dislike about Chameleon?**

I wish I could 'beta' test previews of tours with a colleague. More collaboration would be nice.

**What problems is Chameleon solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sharing information about new product features, improves customer adoption and perceived product value

  ### 32. Best UX design tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Arpit A. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 31, 2023

**What do you like best about Chameleon?**

Chameleon gives modern SaaS teams the most control, configuration, and customization to win with in-product UX. It has help in re-designing my solution and make them more user friendly

**What do you dislike about Chameleon?**

Nothing as such. I believe it is just perfect product available in market. All you need to do is just sign in pay the subscription and start using it that's it.

**What problems is Chameleon solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is helping me making more userfriendly solutions for my client of all type of industries.

  ### 33. In-app experiences that feel native

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joran B. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 17, 2023

**What do you like best about Chameleon?**

- Easy to learn
- Customization options for design, custom CSS letting me tweak small things
- The step-by-step flow of publishing experiences is very well-done
- Quality advice and feedback from the CSMs (Rhi, Nuno)

**What do you dislike about Chameleon?**

I would like some flexibility for banners, but that is being worked on as far as I know.

**What problems is Chameleon solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We want to improve product adoption without using valuable development resources. Chameleon helps us be more agile because we can adjust experiences easily along the way.

  ### 34. Top-notch user engagement tool

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Benoit C. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 27, 2023

**What do you like best about Chameleon?**

Chameleon is easy-to-use, and very intuitive, which is essential for creating customer experiences. Most of my team are not developers; we can be autonomous to create onboarding tools or launch surveys. The Chameleon's team is also very supportive and helps you to solve any issues or provides good tips and tricks, making our usage easy.

**What do you dislike about Chameleon?**

We haven't really had much to dislike until now. I occasionally encounter some quirks or slowness when using the builder, but nothing really annoying.

**What problems is Chameleon solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Chameleon helps onboard new users, making them autonomous to master basic features. Chameleon is also important to improve our interaction with customers by getting direct feedback on new features or by focusing on some of their pain points.

  ### 35. Lots of features but difficult to learn

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kelsey H. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 27, 2023

**What do you like best about Chameleon?**

Chameleon has a lot of helpful tools. I like that we can do quick NPS surveys with the microsurvey tool. We're able to customize tours to match our product. It seems like your team has worked with us to figure out customizations and workarounds to meet our needs.
The options for button actions are really handy

**What do you dislike about Chameleon?**

The UI itself is difficult to learn. There are hidden actions or language that is unintuitive on most pages. One example - It took me probably 20 minutes to figure out how to turn rate limiting off - our tour names can be long sometimes, so the trash can icon was out of frame to the right and the left-right scroll bar was out of frame at the bottom of my screen.

When the tours are displayed, there doesn't seem to be a uniform set of rules. They're alphabetized on the rate limiting page, but organized by priority on the tours page. We also have a ton of old tours that have been unpublished but they still show up in the lists. I wish those were filtered to a second tab. Creating custom audiences could be streamlined as well.

**What problems is Chameleon solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our user base is older than the average tech user, so launching new features can be really difficult. Chameleon helps us train them on new features and cut down on support calls. We also use Chameleon to generate feedback and user input on new features or improvements. Having highly customizable audiences helps us hone in on the insights we need.

  ### 36. A helpful partner!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shelby B. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 27, 2023

**What do you like best about Chameleon?**

I love being able to target certain users with certain tours and tooltips because it will allow my team to better understand our users and curate an even better product to cater to their experience.

**What do you dislike about Chameleon?**

I don't fully understand all the tools in the builder and find myself contacting my rep for clarification on many things. Reading an article about every feature is a lot and time-consuming. I think on an intro call with my CXM that we have a walkthrough of the builder and we run though some of the best practices and most common use cases.

**What problems is Chameleon solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Chameleon is solving the issues of clients feeling confused about features and helping educate new users immediately. The thing about Chameleon is that a lot of the tours are being overlooked by older users but ideally with new users so that they feel well-equipped to feel successful on our platform. Creating a stronger experience and helping us not only activate the user but retain them mid-lifecycle.

  ### 37. Great customer engagement tool

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hannah K. | Marketing Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 01, 2022

**What do you like best about Chameleon?**

The setup is fairly simple for any onboarding tours or general education pop-ups we're looking to create for users in a variety of versions of our platform. I like not having to wait on a development team to create and implement something, I can do it in real-time with nice branding as well.

**What do you dislike about Chameleon?**

Some of the formatting options are fairly limited and wish there were more abilities to control snooze options for some tours. Would also like more "celebration" options other than confetti and hards to help signify accomplishing something maybe on a smaller scale. Overall, I don't have many dislikes, Chameleon works really well for our team and continues to make beneficial improvements.

**What problems is Chameleon solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Accessing different types of users at different stages in their lifecycle with us. Whether we're onboarding a new recruiter to our platform, or just want everyone to know about an upcoming webinar, Chameleon makes that setup of tours and notices really simple.

  ### 38. It´s easy to use, but need to improvent some basics funcionality related to micro-surveys.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Thamires L. | UX Researcher, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 07, 2022

**What do you like best about Chameleon?**

One of the best things on Chameleon it´s the Chameleon builder extension, wich is easy to use and config the rules for show tutorials experiences and micro-surveys
Beyond that I learn a lot about trigger and rules to config experiences.

**What do you dislike about Chameleon?**

The SLA for support it´s to slow, and doesn´t have more features to create customized surveys, wich is limited the scope of micro-surveys. Generally, you just create micro-survey with 2 steps. Now we have other problems wich is the historic related to changes made by users, for more safe management of tools.

**Recommendations to others considering Chameleon:**

Attention if you want to need surveys with a scope of questionnaire (with more that 3 questions)

**What problems is Chameleon solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Create CSAT and NPS surveys, to measure in the context of user interface.
To guidance users about new features that we release on product
To explain some specific changes on interface (alerts, tours)

  ### 39. Revamp your existing Solutions

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 01, 2023

**What do you like best about Chameleon?**

Chameleon has immensely helped create a new look to our existing solutions.
It made a beautiful and intuitive look and feel for our existing solutions.
This has increased the flow and usage of our software by our clients.

**What do you dislike about Chameleon?**

It is very great tool. However, it can have more customizations and more integrations with different versions of tools.

**What problems is Chameleon solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Chameleon has changed the way our existing solutions look. Which has improved our aesthetics and has resulted in increased usage by our clients and inturn some increase in business

  ### 40. Chameleon for in-app product tours

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Patrick B. | Product Management Consultant, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 25, 2023

**What do you like best about Chameleon?**

It's got a reasonably easy UI to use and can quickly implement "tests" that can eventually be replaced by hardcoded tour if they prove to be successful.

It would be great to have a tool that covers in-app & emails all in one.

**What do you dislike about Chameleon?**

Element based display conditionals could be stronger. Currently you can only use display "if present" for an element instead of "is not present" which is a generally more solid criteria.

The reporting is not great and "goal setting" is not particularly effective.

The builder portion of the software can be buggy at times making it difficult to edit in-apps confidently.

**What problems is Chameleon solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It can help with product tours and self-serve tours for users discovering the product. It's great for running sales given the targeting does not have to be very specific.

  ### 41. Chameleon allows you to be creative, while still being proactive to communicate with your clients.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 15, 2023

**What do you like best about Chameleon?**

Dynamic Segments, ease of use, frequency of use, number of features

**What do you dislike about Chameleon?**

Nothing, Chameleon is a great platform that drives customer success!

**What problems is Chameleon solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Allows us to communicate important updates/issues with our clients via the portal and our product.

  ### 42. Chameleon

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Eleftherios K. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 26, 2023

**What do you like best about Chameleon?**

Chameleon provides detailed documentation and support resources, including tutorials, user guides, and FAQs, making it easier for researchers to get started and troubleshoot issues.

**What do you dislike about Chameleon?**

While Chameleon provides access to a wide range of computing resources, there may be times when users require more resources than are available. Users may need to wait for resources to become available or find alternative solutions to meet their needs.

**What problems is Chameleon solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Chameleon enables researchers to customize their computing environments, including operating systems, network architectures, and hardware configurations, enabling them to experiment with new technologies and approaches.

  ### 43. It has everything we need

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chiel d. | Product Analyst, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 17, 2023

**What do you like best about Chameleon?**

The integrations and API are a must-have for us and Chameleon delivers. The tours look amazing and feel native to our platform.

**What do you dislike about Chameleon?**

Not that much to dislike, it simply works

**What problems is Chameleon solving and how is that benefiting you?**

onboarding new users, announcing new features and product discovery with micro-surveys

  ### 44. We are using Chameleon for the past 6 months and see the impact

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Avi Z. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 05, 2023

**What do you like best about Chameleon?**

Chameleon has many advantages, but what I like the most is that the team at Chameleon is committed to assisting their client in producing real value out of Chameleon.

**What do you dislike about Chameleon?**

Chameleon needs to include the ability to work on several environments simultaneously (staging & Production) without mixing the analytical data of the environments. As a workaround, we are duplicating the experience before launching to Production.

**What problems is Chameleon solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Chameleon is part of our supporting array. We use chameleon to release announcements and guided walkthroughs of the platform to help users onboard and expose new features. In addition, the walkthroughs library we created is accessible to the customer at any time as part of our knowledge base.

  ### 45. I find Chameleon a great tool for helping to provide information to our customers

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lisa D. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 26, 2023

**What do you like best about Chameleon?**

I like that Chameleon is user friendly, and easy to create tours and informational pop-ups for our customers.

**What do you dislike about Chameleon?**

I can't use all of the functionality, as I don't know how to code, so am unable to personally create 'events' that would be useful for defining a success from our self-help tools

**What problems is Chameleon solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Chameleon helps our users to navigate our website and to self-learn how to complete necessary tasks. This helps reduce the workload on our call centre

  ### 46. Chameleon review

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Douglas A. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 07, 2023

**What do you like best about Chameleon?**

- Intuitive interface
- Client segmentation
- Provides a wonderful and pleasant experience for customers

**What do you dislike about Chameleon?**

I need to know how to code and program, like google dev tools
Chameleon does not have a log of changes in the platform

**What problems is Chameleon solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Chameleon guides the user in their first contact with the platform and offers checklists that deepen the user's knowledge. In addition, we implement a/b tests in our experiences.

  ### 47. chameleon

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Accounting | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 09, 2023

**What do you like best about Chameleon?**

I love that it is easy to learn the basics, easy to use, has good overall functionality, and a good price. Ideal for sales call logs and alerts. Keep paperwork to a minimum in Recruitment. Online support when you have a problem.

**What do you dislike about Chameleon?**

Sometimes, the software fails and the user interface could be better, but it's not a big problem. The search can be cumbersome, but it could be us! It can be a bit problematic at times.

**What problems is Chameleon solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ease of use, modification of our business, customer service is excellent, a lot of functionality, it syncs with Outlook, LinkedIn, etc., cloud-based and good value for money.

  ### 48. Meets the needs we had relative to some other competitors

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Paul G. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 27, 2023

**What do you like best about Chameleon?**

They were willing to work with us on their DPA and Terms so we could satisfy our legal requirements.

**What do you dislike about Chameleon?**

Relative to other DAPs still seems to be under-developed in some areas, notably injecting HTML beyond just tooltips.

**What problems is Chameleon solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps our customers find our product a-ha moments faster, and informs them when we have changes in the product.

  ### 49. Great product and ease of use

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Genevieve R. | Prod Ops Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 16, 2022

**What do you like best about Chameleon?**

It's relatively easy to use even if you don't have a background in software/etc. And the customer support is really wonderful - very helpful, quick to respond, and go above/beyond when our team is stuck on something.

**What do you dislike about Chameleon?**

As someone with a lack of experience in CSS/etc, it can be a little difficult to understand when something isn't working. Sometimes it is a little slow to push through tours (but that could be on our product end).

**What problems is Chameleon solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Right now we're trying to solve product underutilization, and Chameleon allows us to point out tips/workflow components we want our users to know about.

  ### 50. Awesome solution, but takes some effort to setup

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lucas O. | SDR, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 07, 2023

**What do you like best about Chameleon?**

Highly customizable product tours and in-app messages. Great segmentation tool. Activity log.

**What do you dislike about Chameleon?**

It takes some coding effort to set up triggers and make sure all properties are being brought to Chameleon form other solutions.

**What problems is Chameleon solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Create custom onboarding experiences for different use cases.
