Cetec features a modern user interface and operates entirely as a web-based platform, which provides the flexibility to work from home or directly on the production floor for material input tasks. The support team is highly responsive. We chose a hybrid approach for implementation, combining self-guided steps with assistance from Cetec, and managed to go live in just two and a half months with minimal issues. This is the fourth ERP system I have used during my ten years with my current company, and it stands out as the most agile and comprehensive. Using its key features daily has significantly streamlined our manufacturing and sales processes. I like the barcoding feature that Cetec ERP offers, which significantly enhances our operations by providing a functionality that we did not have before. This barcoding capability is particularly beneficial for inventory purposes, making inventory management much more effective and streamlined for our business. Additionally, I value the technical support provided by Cetec ERP and the educational classes they offer. These classes are expected to be conducted every two years, which is a great opportunity for my team and me to enhance our expertise in using this new system. I appreciate that I can bring more people from my company to these classes to learn more, becoming even more proficient and maximizing the system’s potential for our operations. Although I am becoming more familiar with the system, there are still areas where I have questions. Additionally, I've noticed a significant issue with data transitioning from the quote stage to work orders, where certain key information fails to populate. The most helpful thing about CETEC is the company team / CETEC staff. They have happy to answer our countless questions and pull in the best resources when a question is posed outside their area of expertise. The … inconsistency in configuration setting names that have been added over time. Better explanations for the downstream effects of the settings would ideally exist. Cetec is a great ERP tool for incorporating all aspects of your company into one ERP system. The only aspect we can not use it for is our production Quality inspections as we need to store this information. They have mentioned it as a potential future addition. We might be a bit particular mentioning this, but the bugs can sometimes be unpredictable and lead to confusing problems. Additionally, the response time for support tends to be somewhat slow. Whenever an issue arises, we often have to pause productivity in that department until we receive a solution, which usually forces us to come up with temporary workarounds.
