The biggest pro is that it's on the salesforce platform, where there is a wealth of training material and resources to customize and automate for our needs, so fairly easy to use. There is quite a lengthy implementation process to onboard, 3-6 months using a partner. It's a tool that our team will rely on for KPIs and metrics, requiring frequent data enty in the form of timecard entry, project updates, and resource schedule allocation. I feel like Certinia is very customer centric and listens to ideas when designing their product roadmap to include features that were requested. Customer support is hit and miss. If lucky to be assigned a US based resource to the case, more likely than not, they will be excellent--know the product well, can troubleshoot and think comprehensively to solve the problem. However, I've had frustrating experiences with offshore resources in that they do not understand the issue, have little product knowlege, and have lengthy response turnarounds. I especially like the ability to automate Billing and Invoice generation based on project milestones, time and expense entries. In addition to this, it seamlessly integrates with Salesforce CRM, which allows for a unified view of customer data, sales opportunities and project information. Certinia PS cloud is big chunk of platform, it has lot of features and modules integrated in it, in order to configure it properly it requires lot of efforts and time but once it gets configured it deliver great output. in order to modify or adjust something people requires corresponding skills, i would say they should add or minimize the configuration process by giving some guided setup kind of thing, with that, this could be a game changer platform on the cloud. Certinia PS Cloud is a cloud based Resource management tool, apart from this it has many functions as well like Project management, ERP, Professional Service solution on Salesforce platform. the user interface is quite decent enough to work and it is very fast. the automation processes are just work the way we wanted.overall it was a great tool to management, monitor and look for the resources on enterpise level.
