While we have been on the platform for a year now, we still need hand holding sometimes and they never complain even if we have asked the same question 5 times. The learning tools they provide are invaluable! **What do you dislike about Certent?** We have had one glitch that they have not been able to replicate from our previous spreadsheet system, but other than that we are extremely happy with Certent. They are working on it though and hopefully will have a solution soon. **Recommendations to others considering Certent:** Go with Certent! The move from excel spreadsheets to their platform with almost effortless. **What problems is Certent solving and how is that benefiting you?** It's great to have everything in one place and be able to search/reconcile the data with the many reports available. From uploading new grants to participants exercising grants, it's all very streamlined and efficient. In addition, vesting schedules are automated from the beginning of a grant to the settlement of the grant. **What do you dislike about Certent?** The only downside we have encountered was the dividend distribution, we have not been able to get this area up and running. **Recommendations to others considering Certent:** Do your homework, make sure Certent can grow with your company as different types of grants or equity compensation come up. For some reason, the script never been saved for my company, so the next time I run into the same issue, i can't get problem solve immediately. Only equity ID, which you then have to do a vlookup to a separate report of grants by person with grant ID listed. Anytime I think I have something unusual that the site won't be able to handle, it can handle. **What do you dislike about Certent?** The only minor complaint I have is that it can sometimes take longer to get a response from the helpline than what I am accustomed to with other providers, but my questions always get answered so that is the most important part. **What problems is Certent solving and how is that benefiting you?** It has made it easier from an administration standpoint of not having to update as many excel files. From a participant standpoint the portal has been well received as it gives our shareholders 24/7 access to their stock/option holdings. ### 22. Michael Mauro literally makes my job so much easier. **What do you dislike about Certent?** The ease of participant based reports could be enhanced so that Company's can provide a more customized experience for participants. **What problems is Certent solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are currently working to streamline reports in order to reduce time spent on month end reconciliation and stock option exercises.
