"Intuitive UI, Fast Performance, and Excellent Support"
4/5
What do you like best about Ceros?

What I like most about Ceros is its intuitive, design-led UI, which makes it easy to create interactive content quickly without relying on developers. The newer Ceros Flex is a strong step forward from Studio, with faster HTML5-based performance, and Flex AI helps streamline tasks and reduce manual effort. On top of that, support has been excellent—our account manager is always responsive and happy to jump on a call when needed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Ceros?

Analytics could be stronger, particularly when it comes to deeper engagement insights, but it integrates well with third-party tools like heat mapping platforms, which helps identify where content is driving the most interaction. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Alexa Mazzoccoli of Ceros

Happy to hear Flex has been hitting the mark - and great that your account manager has been there for you when it counts :)

On analytics: deeper engagement insights are something we know matter, and it's an area we're focused on improving. In the meantime, the heat mapping integration workaround you've found is a solid path.

Feedback like yours helps us prioritize where to take it next, so thanks again for sharing this!

"Ceros: No-Code, Adobe-Like Tools for Professional Website Design"
5/5
What do you like best about Ceros?

I love being able to design a professional website without needing to code to make it work. I also enjoy that the tools are comparable to those in Adobe creative suite so it's simple to go from those programs to ceros with not too much of a learning curve. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Ceros?

I want to see better ways to work with maps in ceros. I wish there was a live map option that could be embedded right into an experience. I want to be able to zoom in and out of a map, similar to how you can with google maps. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Christina Cusumano of Ceros

Thanks so much for the review! It's great to hear that templates are helping you create beautiful content efficiently!! I'll share your feedback with our product team around maps.

In the meantime, here is an article around embedding content directly into the canvas: https://educate.ceros.com/en/articles/12652273-how-do-i-embed-third-party-content-in-a-flex-experience

"Great for Interactive Content, But Lacks Comprehensive Features"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Ceros?

I like that Ceros is fairly easy for me to use and becomes intuitive once you start to explore the tool and test its limits. It's great for creating interactive content, allowing us to develop engaging and purposeful experiences in narrative and content flow, such as adding deeper levels of detail through interactive maps. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Ceros?

Some features on Ceros are lagging behind other web-based tools. The text formatting and styling components don't feel as complete as tools like Adobe or Figma. Image cropping is also a bit different on Ceros compared to other tools. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Alexa Mazzoccoli of Ceros

Thanks for the honest review, Kirk! Really glad Ceros is helping you tell more engaging stories across your content.

On the formatting and styling side - if you haven't explored Flex yet, it's worth trying out. We've built in capabilities like Global Text Styles and a range of formatting options that may be more what you're looking for.

This Educate resource should point you in the right direction: https://educate.ceros.com/en/articles/12004339-how-do-i-create-and-adjust-text-styles-in-flex.

"Intuitive, Flexible Component Building with Insightful Analytics"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Ceros?

The intuitiveness of the platform is great, it's very easy to sculpt, mould or adapt components in a flexible manner and the analytics suite is also quite useful too. Often using traditional analytics tools, we don't often see how specific web components perform but Ceros provides an insight into this. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Ceros?

The level of detail provided within the analytics suite could be improved, adding some level of benchmarking or average for certain types of pages with components would be interesting to see and access Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Christina Cusumano of Ceros

It's great to hear you're finding the platform intuitive + easy to create dynamic content.

On deeper benchmarking, it's a common ask so our Product Team is actively working on some analytics improvements.

Feedback like yours helps shape where we focus, so thank you!

"Highly Flexible, With Familiar Design Tools That Let You Build Almost Anything"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Ceros?

The thing I most like about Ceros is it's flexibility. If you have any design experience, then the tools are very familiar, and you can create almost any effect you can think of. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Ceros?

Very little downside. I used Shorthand previously, and I do miss a few easy-to-use modules, such as horizontal scrolling pictures, etc. But overall, I prefer the felxibility of Ceros. I guess one downside is that it's more time consuming to create pages, because you are building more from scratch in Ceros. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Christina Cusumano of Ceros

Thanks for taking the time to review us! 'Build almost anything' is exactly what we're going for!

Setting up a Brand Kit and Asset Library in Flex makes a big difference on the time-to-build. After you set that up, there's no more starting from a blank canvas every time. And Flex AI can help you build faster when you're starting from scratch. We're also working on horizontal scrolling in Flex, so stay tuned :)

Here's an Educate article to help with getting started with Flex AI: https://educate.ceros.com/en/collections/19622045-flex-ai

"Ceros Makes No-Code Interactive Experiences Easy and Engaging"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Ceros?

Ceros is very helpful for creating interactive components on a page without needing to code. It’s a big help for designers who want to bring their creations to life without coding skills. It really helps when implementing eye-catching experiences for page visitors, especially when you can highlight a section and let users interact with it. It also breaks up the traditional wall of text and turns the usual way of presenting information into a more fun and engaging experience. Overall, it’s a powerful tool, especially when paired with user experience knowledge. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Ceros?

There are times when integrating into the CMS causes incompatibilities. I sometimes see extra spaces or gaps that don’t appear on the artboard. There are workarounds, but I’m hoping compatibility with the Episerver CMS can be improved. On the upside, whenever we run into this, we can reach out to a support channel where real people help us understand the issue and provide solutions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Christina Cusumano of Ceros

Thank you for your review! Reducing dev dependency and getting stakeholder feedback directly on the artboard are exactly the wins we're here for.

RE: Episerver gaps, our support team is your best resource for ongoing issues, but I've also passed this along to our team so they are aware!

"Intuitive No-Code Design, but Pen Tool and Layer Selection Need Work"
3/5
What do you like best about Ceros?

For a no-code SAAS, it draws a decent line between pro design software and intuitive function to be able to craft the website or presentation needed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Ceros?

The pen tool - cannot see to edit polygons or paths after creation, specifically adding points

The layers pallet can be a little frustrating to use, accidentally selecting and moving layers when you're going trying to move a different layer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Christina Cusumano of Ceros

Thanks for your review! An interactive retail map of Union Square is a really amazing use case.

The pen tool limitation and layers friction is important feedback. We'll make sure to pass this along to our Product team — and feel free to share specifics with our support team at support@ceros.com.

"Easy, No-Code Custom Sections with Simple Copy-Paste"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Ceros?

Very easy to create custom sections without any coding. copy paste content from one experience to the other Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Ceros?

No options to create a table. Would like an option to paste content from an excel table Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Christina Cusumano of Ceros

Thanks for sharing your perspective, Shobin! Glad you're loving templates and the copy-paste features! Exactly what we love to hear.

On tables -- you're not alone, it's a known gap and feedback like yours is exactly how features move up the list. I'll pass this along to our Product Team. Your CSM can also walk you through what's coming up on our roadmap. Thanks for sharing!

Sometimes higher level animation projects can be tricky but support has always been phenomenal when looking to build more sophisticated features Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great Usability—Easy Controls and Effortless Content Placement"
4/5
What do you like best about Ceros?

The usability is great, easy to work around and figure out the controls (as an avid Adobe software user!), placing images, content is great and super easy tofigure out. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Ceros?

There are some features I can't figure out, would love some sort of widget that I can add (and if I can trying to figure out how to add) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Christina Cusumano of Ceros

Thank you for the kind words! It's great to hear that Ceros feels intuitive coming from Adobe.

Regarding your comment around widgets, our SDK plugin documentation might help. This is also coming to Flex soon! https://educate.ceros.com/en/collections/14631440-ceros-sdk
