The newer Ceros Flex is a strong step forward from Studio, with faster HTML5-based performance, and Flex AI helps streamline tasks and reduce manual effort. I used Shorthand previously, and I do miss a few easy-to-use modules, such as horizontal scrolling pictures, etc. But overall, I prefer the felxibility of Ceros. There are times when integrating into the CMS causes incompatibilities. I sometimes see extra spaces or gaps that don’t appear on the artboard. There are workarounds, but I’m hoping compatibility with the Episerver CMS can be improved. There are limitations when it comes to adding interactive HTML components on a page, both because of CMS constraints and because of dev team limitations. Certain animations and interactions are simply easier to build and fine-tune in Ceros. It takes less time and capacity from the dev team, and stakeholder feedback is also easier to address because we’re working on an artboard rather than dealing directly with code. Minor text edits, animation tweaks, and integrating videos also require less effort. For a no-code SAAS, it draws a decent line between pro design software and intuitive function to be able to craft the website or presentation needed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. The pen tool - cannot see to edit polygons or paths after creation, specifically adding points The layers pallet can be a little frustrating to use, accidentally selecting and moving layers when you're going trying to move a different layer. The usability is great, easy to work around and figure out the controls (as an avid Adobe software user!), placing images, content is great and super easy tofigure out.
