I compared WP Cerber with Wordfense for a month and came to the conclusion that WP Cerber was better.
1. Confidence: Found more security issues than Wordfense and fixed them.
2. Security: Blocked malware and spam comments better.
3. Detail: Specific information on what WP Cerber blocked for protection. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Ease of use: a little complicated on setting (that could also mean allowing more flexible setting)
I also assume WP Cerber might block thumbnails when I share my website on social media. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The standard parameters work well, although there will be things you want to change, such as making permanent the blocks that are obvious hacking attempts.
Even though I use it in combination with other plugins, it seems to me that WP Cerber is the best free protection you can have. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Unfortunately, if you have several websites, the price scales very quickly. I'm not saying it's not worth it, on the contrary, but in my case, several sites I manage are non-profit and it becomes difficult to cover a lot of money for this concept, which adds to all the others (hosting, domains, administration, templates, plugins, etc.) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

These are excellent security tools. Very useful and easy to insstal and maintain. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The tab refreshes are slow. Speeding them up will help in the UX. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The most useful are its multiple security options and the biggest advantage, in addition to being a free plugin, is its constant monitoring and effectiveness. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
As I indicated it is a free plugin, which does its job well, I have no comments on aspects that I dislike Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

User Friendly Dashboard, Form Protection to block malicious activities, Malware Scanner Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
At this moment, I don't have idea what I dislike Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Starting with the spam protection which is working really well I was surprised how easy it was to set up.
The scan sounds also really promising, I like the feature to check for changes in files and get informed if it happens. The recommended settings are also a really good help especially if someone is not really a security or tech guy. But for my self I also like the advanced features to get the most out of this great plugin.
I feel my website is already way more secure just with the free features. For sure it's one of the best security plugins out there. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
So far there's nothing i don't like. Maybe the fact that it's a little pricy but it's overall an awesome tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

This plugin is really good - it has a lot of features that all of the "big dogs" of wordpress security offer - and it is easier to set up and use! The free version is much better than the other guys free plugins and much easier to set up. The recommended settings make it super quick to secure your wordpress site and its a lot better once you go through the settings with a fine tooth comb to really dial it all in. I think this is one of the best security plugins that i have tried, and I have tried THEM ALL!!!!! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There is not much that I dislike about this plugin, it has all of the features i was looking for in a security plugin and more! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Dashboard. Provides clear, concise metrics up front.
I also like to see the real-time metrics. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
1. I would like to see the Spam comments that were blocked. It would be helpful if there was a link to see that log, just for review to ensure the comments are actually Spam.
2. I don't like the limited features in the free version. Compared to another plugin for my WordPress site (WordFence), which provides a clear explanation of problems, including corruptions or errors with other plugins. Wordfence provides the code language for each error that I can send straight to my developers. here's an example of the data error that Wordfence provides: Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The installation was quick and without any issues, as it should be. Afterwards you familiarize yourself with a well structured "Getting started Guide" and more information right at hand. The information provided makes all the available security measures accessible even for non-techie people. After I spent ~20 minutes everything was setup properly and is protecting my site flawlessly. Changed login URL and few other "standards" hardened my Wordpress site effectively. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The advertising on the right always attracts my eyes and the German translation is sometimes bit strange. Other than that it does what it should, keeps my site up and secure. I would expect bit more explaining information about the Anti-Spam Protection options as this doesn't become really clear what if and how. Up until now I didn't get any spam comments with the free version but maybe this changes with more traffic. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
