What do you dislike about Centric PLM? However, one area that needs improvement is data import flexibility. The current limitations on bulk uploading using Excel files, APIs, or other automated methods can be frustrating, especially when dealing with large datasets. We have found Centric to be an extremely valuable tool for product lifecycle management. It serves as a single source of truth for product details and supplier quotes/communication. When you dig deeper into what the software can do you can tell that every aspect of product management has been really thought through. It helps clearly define roles and responsibilities and gives all stakeholders visibility. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Centric PLM? There is a steep learning curve with the user navigation. Moving through the software at times feels counter intuitive and it is easy to get lost. I think by implementing some UI best-practices as well as adding more visual cues could really benefit the ease of use of the software. In future states I would also like to see a most robust chat/communication tool. We often find ourselves still using email to communicate when long threads are necessary. Since I am new to the system, I liked learning the process on how a style is created and the different tools that you can use to adjust your view and make your projects suitable for you.
