"Modern headless e-commerce platform"

What do you like best about Centra?

As a brand in luxury, we have very high standards for our online user experience. The “true” headless nature of Centra has allowed us to meet these expectations. The platform has provided us the freedom and flexibility to build a front end with next to no limitations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Centra?

Getting up and running with Centra requires a slight degree of technical know-how. The true price of flexibility is that the entire site has to be built from scratch. In other words, project lead time and setup are usually more costly compared to (e.g.) Shopify if using a pre-built theme. Another thing that we had hoped for was that Centra’s GraphQL API would have been more mature and well-documented when initiating the project - this means that we had to go with a SOAP integration for now, that probably would have to be replaced at a later time. It requires some know-how to bring it to its maximum potential. And if you're a newly started brand, the budget needed might be a bit hefty, but then again it's still price-worthy since you'll have a great and unique website tailored to your needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Centra solving and how is that benefiting you?

For any brand that wants to go global without compromising on the brand - Centra is by far the best choice. Brands can be acting local in multiple markets by tailoring the experience to the specific needs that customers in that market have. There are plenty of more benefits such as the connectivity through their API and plugins that even further brings to the excellence of Centra for example. Centra is paving the road for headless, best-of-breed e-commerce, and we are super happy to be working with them.

very few dislikes to share, maybe would be that we can't get all our smaller requests made as we did in the past, but that is not really a problem as most of the functions are already in place. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Centra solving and how is that benefiting you?

Centra is helping us to get our orders into our ERP, we still have our ERP as the master so even though they have a full solution with the total flow, we only use the order part.

What do you like best about Centra?

Centra has been a game-changer, enabling freedom in design, speed and building composable e-commerce. It enables us to integrate with the best-of-breed services.

As it is a headless platform with a brand-only focus it really understands our industry needs and you are part of a group of brands that can help each other develop features needed.

The company consists of a very tech-savvy group that makes sure the latest tech is invested into the product.
