What do you like best about Centercode?

For our beta testing, the following features proved really useful:

Filtering and grouping users, submitting issues that could be funneled into Jira, Survey reminders.

What do you dislike about Centercode?

Our beta project was a bit unusual for the way Centercode is set up. Because we didn't easily fit the typical flow for our recruitment and testing process it became clunky for our support team. Testing followed a very specific user timeline and as a result, was not as easy of a tester experience as we had hoped. The platform works great for recruiting from a wider pool, and for betas with longer lead times. Unfortunately, we were operating with very specific user requirements and needed a quick turnaround.

Another struggle was with most of our users trying to access the platform on mobile and surveys or feedback forms not always showing up correctly. I'd love to see a mobile app for this platform. I think this would make it easier to keep testers actively involved throughout the entirety of the testing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Centercode:

Spinning up a new project that doesn't fall into the standard flow they have provided takes time. giving yourself plenty of lead time for implementation is absolutely necessary. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Centercode solving and how is that benefiting you?

Before Centercode we had a dozen spreadsheets to track different beta cohorts and their feedback. Keeping track of and analyzing the feedback was difficult. - Easy to customize

- Versatile

- Opening and closing applications is easy

- The support team is quick, effective, and friendly

- The reporting structure is fantastic

- The customized permission levels and teams are incredibly useful

- The ability to view what feedback has been addressed keeps things from slipping between cracks

- The ability to integrate with Jira saves my team an incredible amount of time

- There are different pay tiers for how much help you want setting up your platform and being trained

- It is easy to work with the team to add more resources (projects and users) if you need to

- Emailing testers in bulk is simple

- Email templates saved across areas are a life saver

- Selecting testers based on different qualifications is simple

What do you dislike about Centercode?

- Not always intuitive

- Settings scattered making it easy to miss updating areas

- Steep learning curve for Product Managers

- Challenging to get set up initially though easier to maintain

- Default view cannot be saved to more users

- When selecting applicants, I have to save changes before moving pages because selections are not saved when changing pages

- Much of the support content had not been transitioned to their new platform as of the last time I used it

- Dead links from the previous support pages found on Google do not route to the updated content

Recommendations to others considering Centercode:

Be prepared for high value but also a heavy workload. It is best to have at least one person with deep understanding of the platform that can answer questions. Training everyone to that level can be challenging. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Centercode solving and how is that benefiting you?

We used to use Facebook and this led to a lot of missed feedback and frustrated testers that felt ignored when it was really a trick of the algorithm or their report sinking below more active topics. Centercode has leveled up our testing, reduced the amount of time we have to run a test due to efficiency, and allowed us to select the best testers for each round. The reporting features available allow us to share information easily with people less directly involved with testing and quantitative data is easier to generate. What do you like best about Centercode?

I like how Centercode is the juggernaut of customer validation. Their platform encompasses everything a company needs in order to foster a healthy and fruitful ongoing feedback loop for their new or current products. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Centercode?

Mainly some of the platforms integrations for templatizing tests. For example, having to re-copy links for each topic along with lacking some abilities to auto populate text fields based on test name or topic title. I also wish Centercode had a test plan page where I could put in every piece of necessary information for a test and they autopopulate the test space with the correct verbiage, links, logos, etc. This way I only need to send testers emails, add to teams, and maintain the test space during the test. Recommendations to others considering Centercode:

Onboarding can be remote, 3 days onsite was probably not the most efficient. I would also onboard after the pilot beta has been run so the Admin gets more of a flavor of how tests are conducted and can apply that to onboarding + have questions ready. I would also LOVE a test plan form where it auto generates a full test space with links, logos, content, etc.! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Centercode solving and how is that benefiting you?

My company is solving the problem of launching products without confidence in bugs and customer feedback. Moving elements, adding options within an element, and most importantly, a bit of a more effortless flow while planning a form (ref. to plenty UX research tools like Optimal Workshop).
