## Centercode Reviews
  ### 1. Really easy to use for testing user experience

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jen L. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 24, 2020

**What do you like best about Centercode?**

I like that it's intuitive to scroll through comments and feedback. I like that it's given me insight that I wasn't totally expecting, allowing me to better iterate on some of the design elements I wasn't totally prepared for.

**What do you dislike about Centercode?**

I wish it was easier to navigate. Sometimes it was difficult to find my way back to what I need to find in terms of information.

**What problems is Centercode solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am trying to solve whether the new UI would be easy to use. I've realized there were certain features that ended up being harder to use than I expected.

  ### 2. I find Centercode a great tool to run our Software Beta programs.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Govind D. | Principal Program Manager/Senior Principal Program Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 10, 2020

**What do you like best about Centercode?**

- Flexibility in configuration
- Ability to send out customized notifications
- Ability to gather feedback, again customized by team
- Excellent reporting

**What do you dislike about Centercode?**

I would have preferred to see a report of users who have not accepted invites or have opted out of the Beta program.

**What problems is Centercode solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Centercode helps me to run very effective Beta and Early Access programs.

  ### 3. Centercode is a great product for managing Product Validation Programs!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** John B. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 22, 2020

**What do you like best about Centercode?**

Centercode is a great product filled with features and functionality including:

- BETA release management including attachments and download tracking
- Feedback forms with customizable fields
- Communication options with email templates
- User (tester) segregation via groups ("Teams")
- Data export options including reports and email ("External Destinations")
- Site configuration with custom branding ("Visual Themes")
- First class, top-notch, incredible customer support team!

**What do you dislike about Centercode?**

This is extremely minor but customer support is typically only available during US West Coast (GMT-7) business hours

**What problems is Centercode solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were initially in search of a platform that would allow us to distribute BETA product software builds to external program participants. The search lead us to Centercode which provided the basic functionality we needed plus so much more. Fast forward almost seven years later and we are using Centercode to completely manage our Product Validation Program including BETA release distribution, tester management, feedback collection, bug tracking and reporting.

  ### 4. Centercode is highly recommended

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Telecommunications | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 24, 2020

**What do you like best about Centercode?**

I appreciate both the web access and weekly review meetings of the tester feedback

**What do you dislike about Centercode?**

Not much to complain about. Maybe the distribution of the product can be more streamlined and self-sufficient.

**Recommendations to others considering Centercode:**

Take full advantage of the team to ask questions to understand the process to maximize the benefit

**What problems is Centercode solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Centercode helps to provide a user perspective on our products. Often times, we can get caught in the technical weeds of a product and lose sight of the broader end user experience.

  ### 5. Centercode works for software feedback management

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 29, 2020

**What do you like best about Centercode?**

Having one place to send internal and external testers through is the most valuable aspect of Centercode. We used it to customize the testing programs and group the individuals together to better target the specific users/tester. This tool replacing emails and customized spreadsheets provides a solid record of feedback, bug and suggestions for the teams to act upon.

**What do you dislike about Centercode?**

Some of the specific nuance took a bit of time to learn how to use properly especially around the setup of users within a testing program. Data export as well is not as efficient as I would prefer.

**Recommendations to others considering Centercode:**

Take advantage of the support and training offerings.

**What problems is Centercode solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Centercode to consolidate our testing feedback and process. The benefit replaces email and spreadsheet communication and allows for more direct control over the process.

  ### 6. Great company and software

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consumer Goods | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 24, 2020

**What do you like best about Centercode?**

The software is easy to figure out and the company is very responsive if any questions come up.

**What do you dislike about Centercode?**

I am still not able to be added to a project in the software, but it might be because no one reached out to Centercode. I'm not sure, but i do know that there is an ongoing issue related to me personally unfortunately...

**What problems is Centercode solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Beta testing feedback and internal feedback regarding defects/suggestions found.

  ### 7. A bit obtuse at first and hard to get into

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Media Production | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 05, 2020

**What do you like best about Centercode?**

I'm able to easily upload builds and provide disclaimers to the users of our product.

**What do you dislike about Centercode?**

Generating reports out of the tool is confusing for first timers. I didn't have a lot of time to learn the tool and it was hard to set up properly for my needs. This is not something you can deploy and start using under a day. The web app doesn't provide a lot of documentation on how things work, or at least it wasn't apparent to me where I should go to learn more.

**What problems is Centercode solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We want to know who was downloading our beta builds and were able to figure out how much our users were engaged.

  ### 8. Multiple hats; not a problem

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 14, 2019

**What do you like best about Centercode?**

Being that Centercode is a company built on customer feedback, it's no surprise that their SaaS Support Team is among the most responsive and helpful group of professionals I've had the pleasure to work with.

**What do you dislike about Centercode?**

While customer feature requests are easy to submit, it's not quite so simple to track their progress. When a fix or request to the portal is implemented, that is when I first know that there was progress made.

**Recommendations to others considering Centercode:**

Centercode will significantly ease the burden of customer testing. You shouldn't "set it and forget it" though; remain an active participant in your own customer-validation program in order to get the most out of it.

**What problems is Centercode solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ingesting customer validation feedback in as efficient a way as possible integrated with other existing tools is what Centercode is used for. We are doing more with what we have than ever before.

  ### 9. It's a good platform for any beta program

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Robert H. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 21, 2020

**What do you like best about Centercode?**

Centercode is really good at helping your team be efficient because it helps one person process a lot of feedback from a large group of beta customers. The feedback mechanism is highly customizable and really helps you group and consolidate feedback. Their survey system is also very good and comes with several layers of surveys that help you classify and group your beta users. Their user enrollment and onboarding is very straight forward which is helpful for bringing users into your own beta community. Finally, the integration options help save time by no longer requiring your people to copy/paste information into other systems for consumption by other teams.

**What do you dislike about Centercode?**

The platform isn't as automated as we would like. It requires you to set up your beta system to follow Centercode's prescribed methods for gathering feedback. While there is nothing wrong with their method and in fact it's pretty good, the problems arise when you need to deviate from their methods of running a beta. This requires manual extraction of information, feedback, and customer data in order to make sense of what the customers are saying. It would be nice if this were more automated and they offered more tools to extrapolate information.

**Recommendations to others considering Centercode:**

Whether you're just starting out with a beta program or if you have a mature beta program, Centercode is a very useful product that helps you be more efficient and grow your company's beta potential.

**What problems is Centercode solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are using Centercode to keep a finger on the pulse of our customers. The platform helps us to understand what customers think of our systems and software before we release them.
I would like to be using our beta community to marketing research but we just weren't there yet as an organization. We also have a competing customer community that our marketing group created, which has similarities to what our beta community should be.

  ### 10. Above Average Experience from a Professional worker

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chenxi X. | Software Product Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 10, 2020

**What do you like best about Centercode?**

Detailed Guideline and What's New in each iteration

**What do you dislike about Centercode?**

Pretty good, nothing I don't like so far

**What problems is Centercode solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Create an early adopter community and deliver the latest announcements to public testers

  ### 11. Centre doce is really helpful tools but still nedds improving to be more userfirendly.

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Staffing and Recruiting | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 05, 2020

**What do you like best about Centercode?**

Teams, contents and all email features are perfect

**What do you dislike about Centercode?**

Creating reports is a bit confusing and needs some extra analysis

**What problems is Centercode solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sort out a large group of people categorizing, and well communicating.

  ### 12. A Powerful tool with even more powerful support behind it

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 20, 2020

**What do you like best about Centercode?**

The most helpful things about centercode is the customizable automation that greatly reduces the time spent manually managing user participation and grouping. The staff is another strength of the program.

**What do you dislike about Centercode?**

When it comes to filtering, I would love it if the filters could handle more complex levels without the need of creating additional teams.

**Recommendations to others considering Centercode:**

The Centercode platform is an amazing and powerful tool for presenting your products and services for customer feedback, but the biggest benefit of Centercode is the service provided with it. The staff are amazing to work with and have worked with me to improve not only how we use their service, but how we look at testing as a whole. This has greatly reduced the time I spend managing testing and saved my company money on paying me overtime.

**What problems is Centercode solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The biggest problem I am solving with Centercode is the consistency of the customer experience. This includes both my internal customers and the customers of my company as a whole. By automating many processes, I am able to remove the complexities of testing so that our PMs can focus on what makes our products better and our testers can focus on providing feedback.

  ### 13. Feature heavy platform for alpha, beta and pilot testing of software and hardware products

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 23, 2020

**What do you like best about Centercode?**

It comes up with tonnes of features like user management, project management, survey management and reports. One stop platform if you are working with hundreds or thousands of testers internally and externally.

**What do you dislike about Centercode?**

Since it is very feature heavy, it sometimes can be frustrating to navigate around certain trivial tasks. Sometimes you may feel that is not so user friendly but do remember that it is because the company is focused on providing features and not necessarily providing easy to use features

**Recommendations to others considering Centercode:**

If you are working with thousands of testers and struggling to manage alpha and beta test projects, this is a great platform to improve team's efficiency and tester experience

**What problems is Centercode solving and how is that benefiting you?**

- Manage all the alpha and beta testing of our hardware and software products
- Easy to manage thousands of testers
- One stop shop to create surveys, generate reports, manage projects and work with product and project teams

  ### 14. Centercode

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Patrick D. | Project Specialist, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 21, 2020

**What do you like best about Centercode?**

Centercode has allowed my organization to facilitate multiple field trials at the same time, providing a consistent interface and methodology across each trial and phase. Ability to copy and reuse reporting and other templates greatly decreases the required Admin work.

**What do you dislike about Centercode?**

Centercode can have a steep learning curve at the beginning - multiple methods to perform an action, however usually one proper method that is not always self-evident.

**Recommendations to others considering Centercode:**

Highly recommended, but plan sufficient time to learn and onboard.

**What problems is Centercode solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Great data collection, tracking and reporting functionality built right in! We are seeing the true value of Centercode on a weekly basis.

  ### 15. Mighty all in one solution

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Holger R. | Clerk Engineering Services Beta Community Team, Computer & Network Security, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 24, 2019

**What do you like best about Centercode?**

The Centercode solution offers us an all in one solution to do our customer validation: We have a project for every of our products and provide the setup packages + personal licenses to every participant, get bug reports, feature requests, can send out surveys, generate reports. Meanwhile, we also let it generate our JIRA tickets. Also, the collaboration between the users is great.

**What do you dislike about Centercode?**

Due to the variety of functionalities, it is not always intuitive to use.

**What problems is Centercode solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Alpha, Beta and Delta tests. Sometimes we reach out to the whole community for surveys. We use Betabound to recruit new users. We provide the packages and licenses to the users, do the whole bug report handling until we handover to development. Our product managers monitor the feature requests. We often send out surveys.

  ### 16. Turn tester info into actionable data

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kevin G. | Beta Project Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 24, 2020

**What do you like best about Centercode?**

The dynamic reporting, macro, and customer feedback options.

**What do you dislike about Centercode?**

Dynamic tags - they could be organized a lot better and are often hard to find.

**Recommendations to others considering Centercode:**

Talk to the folks at Centercode and see what it has been able to do in terms of providing data to internal stakeholders.

**What problems is Centercode solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Issues with software and hardware releases, we are able to more effectively prioritize the things that customers report impact them the most.

  ### 17. Centercode is best for your Beta programs

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shailendra M. | Sr. Principal Program Manager, Computer Software, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 25, 2019

**What do you like best about Centercode?**

Variety of customized reports
Question Bank for surveys, this saves your time a lot
Macro to automate workflows
Support is excellent

**What do you dislike about Centercode?**

I don't have any items that I dislike, but have requests for features:
a) Mobile App, so we beta admins can manage beta while we are out of office
b) Integration with Chat programs such as Microsoft Teams - so that we can chat with beta participants

**Recommendations to others considering Centercode:**

View the online videos provided by CenterCode, they are useful.

**What problems is Centercode solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are getting early on feedback on our products from Beta customers.
It helps us act on any defects, issues before we release the product in the market.
It also helps us to get feedback on new features and also opportunity to hear what new features customers are looking for.

  ### 18. Invaluable Tool

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 24, 2019

**What do you like best about Centercode?**

In my role, Centercode is an invaluable tool that allows me to efficiently manage Beta projects. This ensures that I can gather clear feedback which helps to drive positive health for the products I support. Now I no longer have to manage all aspects of my project through spreadsheets and my email inbox.

**What do you dislike about Centercode?**

Depending on how long you have used Centercode there is a sharp learning curve because of all of the functionality that is available to users.

**What problems is Centercode solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Centercode allows me to get targeted and organized feedback from my users. This allows me to quickly understand what aspects of my products need to be refined or are working as designed.

  ### 19. Centercode User Interface is cumbersome and hard to navigate

**Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consumer Electronics | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 14, 2019

**What do you like best about Centercode?**

It provides great flexibility and customization to create various feedback forms.

**What do you dislike about Centercode?**

The user interface is very complicated. It is confusing how to navigate to different project settings.
I was working on adding custom feedback form with external feedback source (as a developer) and it was extremely hard to find which menu item/option I need to choose to navigate to the right project configuration screen. I was very confused on how to navigate Centercode and how to find the features I need. I had to record my steps into a Wiki so others won't have to repeat the trial and error process of setting up an external feedback source + form.

From developer perspective, it's hard to see what type of REST APIs / integration Centercode supports. It isn't developer friendly. You have videos to demonstrate a few things but I think that you should also add text based description of your supported APIs/Integration with more examples.

**What problems is Centercode solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Collecting user feedback from beta users on new features, products before we launch them.

  ### 20. Swiss Army Knife for Customer Validation

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Toni R. | Senior Test Project Coordinator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 28, 2019

**What do you like best about Centercode?**

The Centercode Platform offers a lot of tools and possibilities to create a comprehensive Customer Validation Test environment. But it's not only the platform but also the Team behind it who is very passioned about their field of work and their help to make sure you have success with the tool.

**What do you dislike about Centercode?**

This platform is not particularly a community platform which is a little bit frustrating but also understandable. If you are looking to setup a community only using Centercode it's going to be a lot more effort when it comes to messaging.
Furthermore the usability especially for onboarding new users and administrators to manage the platform could be improved.

**What problems is Centercode solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The Centercode platform allows us to test prereleased builds with enthusiastic users in a very structured way. The people behind Centercode ensure to share their best practices in every possible way which is very helpful to everyone who is new but also for more senior platform users.

  ### 21. Great sandbox tool, small details can hurt testing performances

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mario E. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 04, 2020

**What do you like best about Centercode?**

Sandbox of an unlimited amount of tools and great set up for easy onboarding and communication process.

**What do you dislike about Centercode?**

Too much of this complicates the process and can make it challenging to know the most important set of tools that could help improve your overall testing experience. Would be nice if this was a lot more adept to global markets not just in USA.

**Recommendations to others considering Centercode:**

Need to build up support for localization of system and being able to grant more diverse customers through a much more in-depth incentives/reward program that would allow for higher customer engagement.

**What problems is Centercode solving and how is that benefiting you?**

N/A

  ### 22. Great platform for managing Betas and getting customer feedback

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer & Network Security | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 11, 2019

**What do you like best about Centercode?**

Ability to dig through and report on issues and for everyone in my team to be able to participate.

**What do you dislike about Centercode?**

Licensing - I would like to have multiple projects going at once and just be charged for total number of participants. I would also like an integration with Atlassian tools - full ecosystem so that Centercode can be used to create Jira tickets and also to update participants on progress and that issues are closed. It would need some hooks to make sure sensitive data isn't published but this is the killer feature that I'd love to see.

**Recommendations to others considering Centercode:**

Great tool that has helped us manage our community. Be prepared for using multiple systems for tracking issues though.

**What problems is Centercode solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We put every product through a Beta evaluation period. We collect feedback and we fix bugs and make product enhancements. Its essentially a community evaluation management platform for us. We do not intend Beta to be a test cycle! though we do find bugs.

  ### 23. Amazing team - Well integrated platform

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Manoj J. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 02, 2020

**What do you like best about Centercode?**

Platform is manageable independently and has features to integrate with your enterprise databases.

**What do you dislike about Centercode?**

Few Corner cases in drafting the surveys should be improved.

**What problems is Centercode solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Improving customer experience for the existing products, capturing feedback from the community on the product quality prior to launch, capturing community feedback on the future products.

  ### 24. Easy to use and allows any tester to test without additional issues.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brad B. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 13, 2020

**What do you like best about Centercode?**

The customization options are amazing and extremely useful.

**What do you dislike about Centercode?**

Some filters and views can be a little tricky to get what I want.

**Recommendations to others considering Centercode:**

Great for any sized project, very customizable, easy to use and easy for testers to learn.

**What problems is Centercode solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Finding bugs and helping achieve customer validation of our SAAS offering.

  ### 25. Centercode is the most effective validation tool there is.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Conor M. | Manager, Beta Programs, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 26, 2019

**What do you like best about Centercode?**

It is a comprehensive solution to managing validation projects. I can do almost everything I want to do and what I can't do is somewhat easy to work around. I estimate it allows the average validation professional to be 3 times more effective than if they didn't have a dedicated validation platform.

**What do you dislike about Centercode?**

It'd be nice if minor bugs were addressed more quickly rather than rolled into large, somewhat infrequent updates. I wish documentation were more comprehensive as well.

**Recommendations to others considering Centercode:**

If you're serious about validation, there's no better option. I don't know how anyone can effectively achieve validation at scale without it.

**What problems is Centercode solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The main challenge Centercode solves for me is scaling the validation of a feature. I'm able to handle and track almost everything directly through Centercode. It allows my team to manage multiple validation projects simultaneously and to quantify feedback for my stakeholders in digestible formats.

  ### 26. More than a Client-Software Provider Relationship

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alex L. | Manager, Technical Operations Beta Team, Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 13, 2019

**What do you like best about Centercode?**

Centercode provides more than just a software solution, though that alone is a game-changer. They provide fantastic real-time support, on-demand consultations to improve my team's operations and processes, and a dedicated Customer Success manager that routinely reviews our use of the tool and finds opportunities to improve. Centercode acts as a partner, helping me to grow my team and our influence in our organization. They're also great advocates for the Beta Testing role in the tech industry, and through their efforts they are generating increased opportunities for those that work in the niche.

**What do you dislike about Centercode?**

There are some aspects of the platform UI/UX that have been clunky and unintuitive for a long time, and are probably not improving drastically any time soon. Centercode has many integrations with various services and pieces of software, but most of them are very specific in their application.

**What problems is Centercode solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Centercode allows 1 person running beta tests to be about 4 times more productive than they'd be without it. It allows for rapid expansion of scale and sophistication of beta tests, and allows users to truly build a Beta Community where none previously existed.

  ### 27. Center Code Review for G2

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 13, 2020

**What do you like best about Centercode?**

Robust platform with a lot of configuration options for successful Beta Programs

**What do you dislike about Centercode?**

Too many clicks for the end-user to participate in the Beta. New logins, verification emails and credential that are not synced with the customers existing accounts for the products we offer. It creates a bit of a barrier to entry which often results in less participation from users.

**What problems is Centercode solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Structured Beta programs to gauge interests on new features, validate bug fixes and test the product.

  ### 28. Using Centercode for Enterprise Software App Betas

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2020

**What do you like best about Centercode?**

The flexibility of the platform and ability to run reports off data collected

**What do you dislike about Centercode?**

Would like more APIs to integration with other systems

**What problems is Centercode solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have much better tracking of feedback as well as providing info and gathering info via reports

  ### 29. A Time-Saving Tool You'd Expect Everyone To Have

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mazen A. | Technical Operations Project Engineer II, Computer Software, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 31, 2019

**What do you like best about Centercode?**

I truly enjoy the ability to assume my testers. This does not only give me the ability to look through my testers' perspectives (a very valuable feature), but also reminds me to orient my perspective to be similar to that of a customer's, especially when discussing product enhancements.

**What do you dislike about Centercode?**

I dislike the need to re-run reports. In essence, I expect reports (and feedback lists) to automatically update themselves without requiring me to refresh the report/feedback list. Having reports be reactive will help save a lot of time for Project Managers.

**Recommendations to others considering Centercode:**

Make sure to spend time making templates AND improving those templates during active projects -- it helps to keep the template on mind when thinking of ways to streamline current projects.

**What problems is Centercode solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Organizing feedback and tester enrollment.

  ### 30. The go-to platform for Beta testing

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Telecommunications | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 28, 2020

**What do you like best about Centercode?**

It's easy to understand and use. Intuitive and simple. I like that users can help other users via the forums, but there is also an option to contact support, all through one platform.

**What do you dislike about Centercode?**

Some of the information I have to manually input, such as serial numbers. It would be great if there was an option to scan devices in through a mobile app.

**Recommendations to others considering Centercode:**

Try it out to see if there are any features you need and don't have… then let Centercode support know about it!

**What problems is Centercode solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows for multiple platforms through one channel. What I see in Centercode is not necessarily what another tester sees, because we may be testing a different combination of devices.

  ### 31. A place to run your closed beta programs

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 12, 2019

**What do you like best about Centercode?**

The license distibution works very well. We just provide a list of licenses and Centercode automatically distributes one to each user.

**What do you dislike about Centercode?**

The navigation within the portal is confusing sometimes, we need to learn where to find things we want to use.

**Recommendations to others considering Centercode:**

If you want to distribute your software to a closed group of people and collect their feedback, Centercode can help you do that with little effort.

**What problems is Centercode solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Users willing to test our software just sign up and they are walked through the onboarding process - they are provided with the installer and the license, the are shown any message or testing scenarios we want them to read. It is much easier than done by emails.

  ### 32. A robust and highly customizable testing platform

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consumer Electronics | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 11, 2019

**What do you like best about Centercode?**

I love the great out-of-the-box solutions Centercode offers as well as the amount of customization it allows in nearly every component of the platform. Centercode has allowed my team the ability to use a single site to manage multiple programs of projects, each with unique needs. Furthermore, I love the super helpful and creative support team!

**What do you dislike about Centercode?**

I wish it were possible to host multiple testing communities under a single site.

**What problems is Centercode solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Centercode offers a streamlined platform for my team to capture user feedback and manage communication with testers in alignment with data privacy laws.

  ### 33. Powerful, but Nuanced

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consumer Electronics | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 29, 2019

**What do you like best about Centercode?**

Ease of user management, emailing, surveys, onboarding, dynamic tags. The tool is incredibly flexible and can be used for a number of things. If you know what you're doing, it gets the job done very well.

**What do you dislike about Centercode?**

There's things you'll never know without making a mistake first. There's so many options and connected parts that work together that it's incredibly easy to forget a checkbox and completely ruin whatever you were trying to do. It's almost like excel in that sense. I'd like a better way to visualize at a high level how the project is working and who has access to what.

Then, there's other things that don't give you enough control. I absolutely hate how a new view defaults to 100 users. If you need to reset notices for 20 users you have to do it one-by-one. Same goes for distributed values. I can't think of them all right now, but I've submitted several suggestions that are minor quality of life improvements that wouldn't be hugely impactful, but would make Centercode feel like a more polished product. I think there's a big focus on major improvements (which is great), but there should also be some attention paid to the little nagging issues that only cost 30secs-1minute, but just really annoy users.

**Recommendations to others considering Centercode:**

This will do the things you need it to do, but it will probably take at least 6 months of using Centercode to feel comfortable with it and another 6 months to feel competent. Support is great however, and they'll help you with any challenges.

**What problems is Centercode solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Running massive tests with limited resources

  ### 34. Dish Beta

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sean B. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 24, 2020

**What do you like best about Centercode?**

The style, ease of creating projects, surveys (survey tool is excellent), and flexibility to create ad-hoc tools to support various projects and needs.

**What do you dislike about Centercode?**

There are a few lingering pain points, which have become hurdles to overcome, especially from tester perspectives.

**What problems is Centercode solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We process ~300 items of feedback a week across all projects, with a sustained population of ~1,500 testers. It's made things much easier to manage and consolidate. We use tester reports to identify trends in software iterations.

  ### 35. Centercode has made much of my work as a customer validation specialist much easier and effective.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** T. Ryan A. | Beta Program Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 03, 2019

**What do you like best about Centercode?**

Centercode's community management and email tools. It makes it extremely easy to orgainze applicants and message them about up coming tests and initiatives.

**What do you dislike about Centercode?**

I wish that it was slightly easier to surface this information to other individuals at my organization without having to manage their access to centercode. This isn't impossible, but it is just not as easy as other functions of centercode.

**What problems is Centercode solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are using cetnercode to manage both our beta program as well as the recruitment and organization of testers in our customer development program. We have saved a great deal of time and money by being able to run our betas so easily and effectively.

  ### 36. Good but could be better

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Telecommunications | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 21, 2020

**What do you like best about Centercode?**

Clean interface, fairly easy to use and works well on Google chrome browser.

**What do you dislike about Centercode?**

Lack of support on UK hours and limited functionality with mobile and find it quite difficult to use the reporting and feedback section as well as macros which I stay well away from.

**What problems is Centercode solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nothing particular. Easy for me to manage trialists in how I communicate with them but nothing ground breaking other than that.

  ### 37. Centercode leads in customer validation software

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consumer Goods | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 13, 2019

**What do you like best about Centercode?**

Cendercode is a one-stop-shop for all things testing. I've always been able to use the platform to collect data for all the validation needs and use their tools to present the data collected in a meaningful way.

**What do you dislike about Centercode?**

Centercode has a big training hurdle to overcome when new team members start using the software. There are a LOT of things in this software and they are all very valuable, but there is quite a bit of training needed to understand the full breadth of what the software can do for you and your company.

**What problems is Centercode solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Centercode makes it easy to collect and process large amounts of data and present that data in a meaningful way. They make it easy to manage a lot of testers and a lot of information all in one place which is a super valuable thing.

  ### 38. Great Experience with Centercode

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Printing | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 27, 2020

**What do you like best about Centercode?**

The Centercode platform is easy to use to run multiple Alpha, Beta, or Field studies at once, get structured feedback on what our customers think of our products and the site is very customizable to fit your unique study

**What do you dislike about Centercode?**

The import process is cumbersome, and does not work well with large amounts of data.

**Recommendations to others considering Centercode:**

It is a great platform to use for any kind of study and also keep up to date with customer needs

**What problems is Centercode solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Resolving user experience issues, identifying hardware issue and finding solutions for them before products hit the market

  ### 39. Manage your software testing with ease

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 12, 2019

**What do you like best about Centercode?**

The onboarding process for new users is very straightforward, they are taken through it step by step, there is no chance they can do something wrong. That way, you will have good conversions of interested testers to actual feedback.

**What do you dislike about Centercode?**

From the management side, there are a lot of options that you might not use and just their presence may feel overwhelming when you are trying to accomplish a simple task.

**Recommendations to others considering Centercode:**

You will be better off using a management tool such as Centercode, the user experience is good and you have a good overview of your project.

**What problems is Centercode solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Centercode to distribute preview versions of our product to users willing to test and provide feedback. The console takes care of most of the stuff so you just feed it installers and licenses, set up the project and the users will have a seamless experience.

  ### 40. Valuable features, but clunky user experience

**Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer & Network Security | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 25, 2020

**What do you like best about Centercode?**

I appreciate the breadth of useful features, including sending emails to custom audiences, exporting reports and setting tasks for participants.

**What do you dislike about Centercode?**

Centercode is very hard to use and is not intuitive. Features should be better surfaced and related features (i.e. all email features) should live in one section of the site for ease of use. Centercode's live chat support is helpful, but users should be able to find and use core features with limited assistance.

**What problems is Centercode solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's a comprehensive way to manage large programs and keep track of feedback.

  ### 41. Great tool for managing your CV tests

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gene P. | Manager, User Experience and Support, Consumer Electronics, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 30, 2019

**What do you like best about Centercode?**

Centercode platform allows you to successfully manage your testers and the results from the tests very efficiently.

**What do you dislike about Centercode?**

Tracking tester participation has been a bit tricky but we have figured out how we can use the export of data and PowerBi to gauge how they are participating throughout the test which can last several months.

**What problems is Centercode solving and how is that benefiting you?**

By having the management of testers and creation of tasks/surveys all in one tool means that you no longer need to have a separate tool to manage your surveys. This makes it more efficient for the PMs to stay in one tool to complete their job.

  ### 42. Best product for Field trial management

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Telecommunications | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 24, 2020

**What do you like best about Centercode?**

Easy and quick to create survey, reports for a field trial

**What do you dislike about Centercode?**

Process to invite participant in a project. (external vs internal) we need to tweak the invitations

**Recommendations to others considering Centercode:**

Initialy, we were looking for a JIRA integration but after viewing how it work, It not take more time to copy and past content to jira by yourself, before paying for some integration module, please analyse if you can do it by your self!

**What problems is Centercode solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Productivity, field trial management, get pertinant inputs from our friendlies, have a better reporting

  ### 43. Comprehensive solution for field trials management

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Steve B. | Sr. Program Manager, Information Technology and Services, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 24, 2019

**What do you like best about Centercode?**

Tester engagement, survey management and task creation are integrated together to allow for a smooth
field trials weekly cadence. Easy to generate comprehensive reporting simplifies the weekly executive communications and demand for status and results.

**What do you dislike about Centercode?**

Setup of some of the onboarding and tester rating features is difficult to grasp.

**What problems is Centercode solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Better engagement with testers. Ease in reporting status of field trials. Central location for all program management.

  ### 44. It's moderate but not meet all needs

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mike M. | ux research , Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 25, 2019

**What do you like best about Centercode?**

The ability to connect with a community remotely.

**What do you dislike about Centercode?**

Inability to reach out to participants more quickly such as through messaging.
inability to have an email inbox from within to manage and maintain all communication
a mobile experience to facilitate and encourage participation

**What problems is Centercode solving and how is that benefiting you?**

problems to solve is to assess product's quality, reliability, unmet needs and to measure user experience.

  ### 45. Excellent platform

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2020

**What do you like best about Centercode?**

It's a great beta testing tool with great security.

**What do you dislike about Centercode?**

The user interface could be more readable.

**What problems is Centercode solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It has helped our testing platform by allowing us to run more sophisticated tests.

  ### 46. A great tool to run a beta

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jerry M. | Beta Program Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 20, 2019

**What do you like best about Centercode?**

I really have yet to find anything that I cannot do to run my program.

**What do you dislike about Centercode?**

Centercode is not very intuitive, particularly when it comes to recruitment. You will need to follow the training to understand how to admin a beta from start to finish.

**What problems is Centercode solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The feedback we have received from testers actually caused us to delay release of our initial product, and that's a good thing. We took the opportunity to make improvements based on tester feedback and release the product only when it met a higher standard.

  ### 47. Straightforward and robust

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 20, 2020

**What do you like best about Centercode?**

Centercode makes it easy for testers to communicate with support, and vice versa.

**What do you dislike about Centercode?**

As a tester, I don't like having to input my serial numbers manually.

**Recommendations to others considering Centercode:**

Check it out; it's worth it!

**What problems is Centercode solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Communication and selection. There are a lot of people using Centercode, so it's easy to find testers.

  ### 48. Great customer service when using their platform. Has most of the functionality we require

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Erin K. | Manager, PMO (Field Testing), Information Technology and Services, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 21, 2019

**What do you like best about Centercode?**

It is very tailored to support company field testing programs, I haven't found any other products that do this.

**What do you dislike about Centercode?**

I wish I could better embed their services into my product rather than send testers to their site.

**Recommendations to others considering Centercode:**

It is the best out there for running alpha and beta tests in the public if you want to interact with testers rather than simply observe their behavior on the backend.

**What problems is Centercode solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We've identified user facing issues with our product through our field testing on the centercode program.

  ### 49. Moving forward

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dolores T. | Program Manager, Information Technology and Services, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 23, 2019

**What do you like best about Centercode?**

I like to ability to make changes at a moments notice, and how I can add as many conditional elements to a survey

**What do you dislike about Centercode?**

There are a few areas that still feel like there isn't much flexibility

**What problems is Centercode solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Automation of reports and distribution of emails has made some of our processes more efficient.

  ### 50. Managed Beta Platforms

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Helen K. | Sr. Technical Project Manager, Telecommunications, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 26, 2019

**What do you like best about Centercode?**

**What do you dislike about Centercode?**

No mobile app for user's to submit feedback. Browser experience via mobile is not the same experience as on your desktop.

**What problems is Centercode solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Now we have a single system to manage all our users, feedback and projects. We have gained so much value and benefits from this centralized system, process. It has allowed us to be more efficient with our time/project management. Online support which also is extremely handy.
