Although this is not the real power of the software, it will be beneficial to have an easy to handle one-time data extract process. A lot of times organizations are not aware of exactly how the process is in reality, the fact that they can map out the process and then see how the process is working in real-time is a huge benefit. I have found the automatic mapping of the processes themselves to be a valuable feature. The apps actively monitors the various activities defined within the process and generates insights and action for users . This is powered by machine learning algorithms. This tranforms the way users operate from a reactive mode to a proactive mode. **What do you dislike about Celonis?** I feel the Dashboarding, and the PQL is not very user-friendly. Even for non advanced programmers, it is possible to get results fast. The Community and customer support are always available to answer questions and explore new ways to evolve and address any issues. **What do you dislike about Celonis?** This is a difficult one. Probably one of Celonis greatest problems is how easily you can overcomplicate your analysis and loose focus, depending on your company's organization and hierarchy's. So, one simple advice would be, if you feel your analysis are getting to complicated, stop, go back to basics, back to the drawing board, and try to follow the success examples of other companies in implementing Celonis. **What problems is Celonis solving and how is that benefiting you?** Main focus as been: - Credit Recovery process (broad-spectrum intervention with the aim of optimizing the process E2E) - Credit Decision (identifying bottlenecks and gains with RPA and other improvement opportunities) - Costumer Experience (global analysis) In terms of benefits, we've been able to provide real-time data that wasn't available. We also were able to identify bottlenecks (that are being addressed) and quantify how much the activities in the processes we are analyzing cost and how much we can "win" with some simple otimizations. ### 20. It's quick and easy to set up new views. There are over 400 out-of-the-box dashboards/views that can be uploaded in a single click by any user. You can connect to many systems and data sources to bring a more holistic view to your work. The Variant Explorer is one of my favorites as it allows you to see a visual of your process and all the variations within. The animation shows where you have rework loops and where the process is taking the most time. Switch between case view and throughput time with one click, and the system highlights your problem areas. The online training is easy to use and allows for practice time in a different environment. Add in Automation and Machine Learning, and you have a very powerful tool to help you maximize the most from your business processes. I also have to call out the Celonis team themselves. They are with you every step of the way and provide non-stop support. Great company and team to work with. **What do you dislike about Celonis?** I don't know that I can call anything out here right now. The hardest part for us was prioritizing what to work on first after seeing the results provided by Celonis and their team. **What problems is Celonis solving and how is that benefiting you?** We started with 2 Use Cases: Shipped Not Billed, and Shipped Not Recorded. What have we shipped and not billed due to various issues, and what have we dropped a delivery note for and have not Post Goods Issued. Our Pilot ran for approx 3 months. We realized millions of dollars in revenue recovery along with uncovering process gaps for issues that had previously been identified but with no root cause. Celonis helped show us where the real problems were so we could get them corrected. We were able to put some Action Engine Signals in place based on the new root causes identified. ### 25. Firstly, big improvements might be achievable without a process mining tool because they are so obvious to the organization and might have been already fixed in past. What remains are the “left over potentials” in much smaller size pertaining to value. So, to gain measurable benefits one must be prepared to implement a lot of smaller process improvement projects, each providing a bit of value. The topic is much too complex to have it carried out part time. So, clear responsibilities and a decision from top management to allocate capacity of the work force to process mining are success factors which come with a cost. Finally, you might not have the personnel with the skill and/or mind set required for working with a process mining tool. Taking time for exploration, developing a curiosity of underlying correlations and delving deeper and narrower into the processes and data is a skill which is scarcely found in companies where problem solving with quick fixes is the norm. **What problems is Celonis solving and how is that benefiting you?** 1. It is not only making the improvement, it's more about how we can find improvement, change the process and monitor the weakness point. I like the improvement cycle c) Process automation: it is a again a nice and important feature, which is allowed us to aware of the issue on time and be able to simplify the processes. d) Customer success manager: a good service to think with the customer and give support as much as possible to the customer in order to be able to create success together. **What do you dislike about Celonis?** a) Chart has not yet have rich functionality like Excel. b) If there is more control in ETL process for user would be a plus although the current ETL process is already good enough. especially enhance error handling and multi source handling. **Recommendations to others considering Celonis:** a) When you start with Celonis, use small and quick use cases as many as possible. It will create a impression to the user how easy they can approach the improvement by the software even with improvement like 2 Euro saving / year b) Create an example to user is much better than words. The ideas is most abstract things, which not a lot of can immediately understand it.
