Celo is a great app. It's easy to use, and it has unified comms within our department. Prior to Celo communications were happening across a variety of tech solutions, which caused messages to be missed and exposed us to risk regarding patient data. As mentioned above, the key solution it has provided is having a place to have clinical conversations and share data that is approved, secure, and protects patient data. It also makes our department use one tool to communicate rather than other given messaging tools that people otherwise might use but have no specific protections around patient privacy. The thing I love most about switching to Celo is that I don’t need to spend a lot of time training new users. Once the app is installed on their phones, even tech-averse users have an easy time navigating and using the app right away. It’s a simple yet powerful tool that has delivered on its promises. I’ve had a very easy time working with Celo whenever I had a question or wanted to provide a feature request. We’ve tried other methods of achieving HIPAA compliance but were never happy with how cumbersome and slow those systems were. It's a bit clunky when trying to find people and then message them. I don't like you can't react to messages like on Facebook messenger. Safe, secure, and compartmentalises my clinical and personal text/images/data. The development team is responsive to feedback and suggestions. Highly recommend. It is still a work in progress to be as smooth as other native messaging software, like iMessage, or WhatsApp. I have already seen many improvements in its interface over the time I have been a Celo user.
