Catsy is very easy to use, fairly intuitive without much expert guidance. If you have any questions, their customer support is amazing. They are constantly listening to users and improving the product. I feel like my company's thoughts and suggestions are being heard and added to feature roadmaps. The UI makes navigation easy, and editing within the software is smooth. I've worked in other PIMs that were so difficult to edit within the UI that it was faster to export, work the data in excel, and then import changes. With Catsy, little content changes are quick, bulk changes to like records are simple within the system, but there is still the ability to export and evaluate in large batches. In a small to medium-sized company such as mine, configuration is key. You don't need to be a developer to create even complex attributes. If you are a developer though, the formula-based attribute converting is extensive. Converting or combining attributes for output to match a template isn't just possible, but easy to accomplish. This goes for digital asset renaming and resizing as well, far superior to other more expensive options that are available. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Catsy DAM & PIM? There isn't a lot to dislike. There are some bugs at times as the software is constantly developing and improving, but if you reach out, there tends to be a fix within 24 hours. A few things that could use attention are: Clearer definition on bulk changes. More definition on where to make what changes (some things can be updated in multiple places). Recommendations to others considering Catsy DAM & PIM: If you're looking for a simple yet flexible option, and don't have major IT integrations, Catsy is a phenomenal choice for product information management. The channel outputs make it great to quickly and easily complete reseller templates to get items live on sites. The digital asset management works well, and they're looking to put a lot of effort into that in the coming months to enhance it even more. What problems is Catsy DAM & PIM solving and how is that benefiting you? First goal was to get an actual DAM with static links (easy "do"). Being able to replace an archaic FTP was the next step (done). Third was to have a way to easily send ecommerce data out to our sales stream (doing that). Beyond all that, we are discovering things about what the additional capabilities are for this system, and how we can learn and utilize them. All said, Catsy was the right choice for us. The team at Catsy is exceptional and their product has been exactly what we needed to get our product information in order. Catsy as a PIM/DAM product has been fully sufficient for our organization that represents over a hundred different suppliers and thousands upon thousands of products. The system was easy to use and manipulate to be exactly what we needed. We previously had no product management system and the team at Catsy made the difference in helping us implement a fully functioning PIM and DAM. I cannot speak highly enough of the team at Catsy from the support team to the very top we were provided the time and attention that is often unseen in software companies, but Catsy was personal and I felt like I got to know the team through the process of implementation. I'm beyond thankful for the approach they took with our organization and feel that we have found a partner who will be with us into the future as we scale and grow. Our organization was lagging behind with over two decades of technical debt in our systems with thousands of products and over a hundred different suppliers and zero management system. Catsy helped us get our products organized, data imported and provided integrations with our e-commerce channels to facilitate product information from one system to the next. Catsy is one of the tools that brought our company out of the 90's and into the 2020s and it's because of this solution that we are now able to provide our customers a better UX on our e-commerce store and begin exploring an omnichannel strategy for online sales.
