CATIA, tool of now and then!! **Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Verified User in Aviation & Aerospace | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.) **Reviewed Date:** January 22, 2015 **What do you like best about CATIA?** We at Zodiac Aerospace are always ahead and introducing new designs into the market, CATIA is a great tool to compare model Revisions which allow us to design faster based on existent models. **What do you dislike about CATIA?** I find it very unfriendly in terms of finding commands, it would be great to be able to type in a command and have your changes/analysis processed right away. **Recommendations to others considering CATIA:** Do not waste time and start using it right away !! **What problems is CATIA solving and how is that benefiting you?** Product improvements by redesigning components used to assemble our final product ### 2. There are alot of toolbars that can be hidden and sometimes i don't know what toolbar has the item i need. **Recommendations to others considering CATIA:** Take some tutorials to learn the tricks. **What problems is CATIA solving and how is that benefiting you?** Doing DFMA work on products. It gives a great visualization of the product before building. ### 3. Also the learning curve. **What problems is CATIA solving and how is that benefiting you?** Working for a manufacturing company, we are able to create new parts to meet our design criteria. We use catia as a tool to fix and improve upon existing designs ### 5.
