"Fluid interface, responsive support, and flexible pricing"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Catenda Hub?

Catenda offers a clear, consistent, and smooth interface. The 3D viewer is very easily manipulated with the mouse; bounding boxes are simple to set up. The connection with the online application works well and speed is on point. Point clouds in .e57 format can be directly imported into the 3D models, which is very convenient. Support in French is available, responsive, and proactive. Moreover, project-based pricing allows all participants to access the project transversally, without any limitation. Unlimited storage finally allows for the expected digital centralization of a CDE. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Catenda Hub?

The management of subjects/BCF could be made more ergonomic. The maximum size of files could reach that of Archigate, for example (50 GB). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Catenda Hub: A Strong Platform for BIM Coordination and Traceable Communication"
4/5
What do you like best about Catenda Hub?

What I dislike most about Catenda Hub is that I miss a more complete email functionality. In construction projects, a lot of communication with external partners still happens by email. Because of that, it would be very useful if email communication could be linked more directly to topics, issues or project decisions in Catenda. At the moment, this still creates some extra work outside the platform.

I also think the measuring functionality in the model viewer could be improved. It works, but it does not always feel as smooth, fast and intuitive as needed for quick checks during coordination meetings or model reviews.

These points are the reason I would not give Catenda Hub a perfect score. The platform is still very valuable for BIM coordination, issue management and structured project communication, but stronger email integration and better measuring tools would make it more complete for daily use in construction projects. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Catenda Hub?

What I miss most in Catenda Hub is a more complete email functionality. In construction projects, communication with external partners still often happens partly by email, so it would be very useful if email communication could be linked more directly to topics or issues in Catenda.

I also think the measuring functionality in the model viewer could be improved. It works, but it does not always feel as smooth and intuitive as needed for quick checks during coordination meetings.

These points do not change the overall value of the platform for us, but improvements in these areas would make Catenda Hub even stronger for daily project coordination. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Useful for Project Management, Improvements Needed"
4/5
What do you like best about Catenda Hub?

I find it very pleasant that Catenda Hub brings everything together in one environment, so I no longer have to switch between different software and options. I am also very happy with the 3D viewer, with the ability to display the floor plan, which often provides clarification to others about where you are located. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Catenda Hub?

The way files are uploaded, especially how the naming should be done, I find inconvenient. The wording in revisions with terms like 'published', etc., is a bit awkward due to its understanding. The folder structure is also not ideal; you would want to have only one entry to upload documents and models, but now it can also be under 'models'. Additionally, bundles are outside the document folder, which leads to three different folders where different documents can be, which is inconvenient. It would also be handy if the access management were in one location within Catenda Hub instead of in multiple places. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"CATENDA Hub: simplicity, performance, and excellent value for money"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Catenda Hub?

After comparing all the solutions on the market, CATENDA Hub stood out for its simplicity, features, performance, and excellent value for money. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Catenda Hub?

I am not a fan of chatbots, but it's the same everywhere. That said, since customer service quickly takes over, it's not really bothersome. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Catenda - Project communication becomes comprehensible"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Catenda Hub?

As a BIM consultant, I accompany various projects where digital models are already well established. Nevertheless, project communication is often a major source of uncertainty. In projects where Catenda is used as a CDE, models, documents, and issues are consolidated in one place and no longer lost in mailboxes and folder structures. As an OpenBIM-based CDE, it creates a neutral interface between the CAD working environment used and project communication. Models do not need to be extracted from the familiar authoring tool, and issues can be easily viewed and tracked independently of the software. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Catenda Hub?

Possibly, this is also due to my limited personal use of Catenda, as I primarily know the platform from the perspective of accompanied customer projects, but Catenda does not replace a classic document management system for formal SIA or authority processes and must be supplemented in such cases. "Real-Time Collaboration, but Pricing Woes"
1.5/5
What do you like best about Catenda Hub?

I like the real-time collaboration that Catenda Hub offers, as it provides instant feedback, whether it's a quick question about a design or a major revision to a plan. I don't have to wait for email responses or schedule meetings, which helps reduce rework. I appreciate its user-friendly interface and the fact that it's cloud-based, allowing me to access project data from anywhere. This means I can work from anywhere, have up-to-date information, and enjoy easier file sharing and collaboration across time zones. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Catenda Hub?

I don't like the file uploads and performance with large models on Catenda Hub. There isn't much flexibility in terms of customizing workflows. The pricing model and value for small teams could feel a bit steep compared to simpler tools. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Ideal collaborative platform for execution due to its interoperability"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Catenda Hub?

It is a collaborative platform that primarily serves the interests of execution teams: taking measurements, coordinates, sections, quantity extraction, visualization by overlaying disciplines or allotment, structured data queries. It is a platform that is easy to use. Due to the interoperability of the supported formats (*IFC, *BCF), it allows collaboration between teams regardless of the tools, without questioning the expertise of people and production software.

Moreover, it is a platform that can be part of a larger common data environment through its numerous integrations with production, control, and communication tools. The open APIs allow for flexible connections to other solutions, thus defining what could be an open CDE. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Catenda Hub?

CATENDA Hub does not yet have the features of a Document Management system. This is a hindrance to its deployment as a unique platform on a project.

Its integration, visualization, and point cloud control tool capabilities are still a hindrance to its deployment on rehabilitation projects. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Finally one central place for Documents, models, drawings, Tasks, and Collaboration"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Catenda Hub?

I’ve found Catenda to be an essential integrated BIM system. I love how it seamlessly merges our communication topics with all our 2D and 3D model information. Because the viewers and communication tools are always interwoven, I can instantly pull up the most relevant data right where I need it.

The biggest game-changer for my team and me is the dynamic topic boards. This feature lets us structure and secure all our process communication—like decision logs, action items, and focus points—and link it directly to the models. Sharing information is simple and secure via collections, so I can finally ditch services like WeTransfer and always have a clear audit trail of what I’ve shared and when.

Plus, it’s open and connects easily with the applications we already use, like Solibri, Revit, Navisworks, Archicad, and SharePoint. It truly works well with the tools we rely on in the Dutch construction sector.

Last but not least, we like the personal support we get from the team in NL. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Catenda Hub?

I believe there are always opportunities for new features and implementations. My main constructive point revolves around maintaining the core philosophy of "keep it simple."

We're thrilled to see new, powerful features like assessment and control workflows, but we must ensure that the platform retains its ability for partners to collaborate easily and intuitively, without the need for extensive training. That fundamental simplicity is Catenda's greatest asset, and it must be protected as functionality expands. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy to Use, Simple UI, and Highly Responsive Customer Support"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Catenda Hub?

Ease of use, simple user interface, almost easy setup. Customer support is very responsive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Catenda Hub?

Some features missing. Not able to align 3d point cloud to the model is one big dissadvantage. this way 3D pointCloud is almost useless. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
